i don't buy my underwear from victoria's secret, but when i was so young my mom had to buy underwear for me, it'd always say things like: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday...blahblahblah.
i don't really get it. but i keep a few in case i forget what day of the week it is. 8) lol |
They shouldn't have words on them, I find it weird if they do, I don't even get why it says it, it's underwear, who is gonna look at it anyway? .-_.-
Okay...., don't need to answer that part. But still, its really not necessary to have words or sayings on them. I think that it just makes it weird and if you are showing it off, dude...., it's just messed up to me anyway. But I guess it's ok if its nice, but I don't think underwear with sayings on it is cute. |
I think it makes a woman feel special and sexy, much like lace and other embellishments.
I know I like to wear sexy things under my clothes, like a lacy bra and underwear because it attractive. Even if no one but me is going to be seeing it. Or maybe some girls are just sluts and want to flash people at parties. xD Some things are really unnecesary though. Like I was in Torrid one time and they had a pair of panties on display that said "I like Sea Men." I mean. That just screams whore. |
LOL! I agree! I love fancy, lacy & pretty underwear but the cutesy little sayings I left behind by age 8 :p

BUT, i like having words on my butt like that
its better then they avertiseing shit like " crisco pancakes" on your butt |
I don't have any underwear with writing on it but I get what you mean..I think it really depends on what it says though. Most of my underwear has patterns like strips or polka dots and things.

If you're walking around in your underwear, people's eyes are usually directed to area's with words, or a difference of color. Also, if people have underwear with say "Sexy" on it, it usually tends to boost their self-esteem, because they FEEL sexy wearing that kind of underwear. Women usually have issues with their thighs, so if the male's eyes are directed toward their butt, that also makes a women feel "sexy". So it's all about how people feel.

I have panties with sayings on them and I have ones that don't.
I personally think that the ones with sayings on them are cute! And one of my exboyfriends appreciated them... It's all a matter of preferance. My most recent ex, for example, didn't even notice them or pay attention to my underwear at all except to say that I had way more than I needed. |

I'd imagine when walking around in your undies and a t-shirt in the morning, it may be found attractive to your morning male companion. ;D |
Because its cute C:
I wish we had Victoria's Secret in Europe, we do have something alike but a lot less interesting. |
I do wonder, all you people buying underwear with writing on them, does anyone see your underwear?

Ah, well the guy I sleep with doesn't like the sayings on my underwear

That's alway confused me too. I dioesn't really make sense considering no one (usually) is going to read it.

Gooooood question. I could never understand the panties that declared thier wearers [sexy or angel or whatever].. It's silly :) Silly, silly, silly. I like that word, silly... But what can ya do?
|
Here here... they're absolutely silly. Now on boxers, silly sayings and prints are more practical. I mean, walking around in boxers HAS to be more comfortable than walking around in frilly, sheer panties with itchy frill-things. Right?

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥LOL.

Aww i hate the ones which say tacky things on them like 'sexy', 'santa baby', or 'angelcakes' etc :s
but i like ones with pictures or funny things written on them like erm. i have some with the grouch from sesame street and they have 'don't be green, be mean' written on the back. :] |

I always found them rather ugly, having underwear like that, but it's really popular for some reason. People LOVE cheesy stuff like that on everything they own, from shirts to panties, I guess.
I'd also guess that some people might view it no differently than "kiss the cook" aprons, which to me hold no appeal (aprons or the sayings). XD As cheesy as it is, the girls that I know that like those dumb sayings tend to be very dirty when they're around men. |
