Exactly, two heads are definitely better than one at that kind of thing. And from the people I have talked to, lots of others have similar mindsets, at least around here. It would be kind of cool if people were anywhere near this open in real life.

    But hey, internet brings out the best in some of us...or worst. But it makes us all a bit more open for sure. xD

In real life, I'll probably take most of this to the grave with me. I tend to be fairly closed unless I know a person VERY well, and I tend to be rather busy with classes and stuff for relationships, unfortunately. On the internet, though, there's little chance of any backlash from being open about things, so I have no problem sharing. :)

  • My friends are on most of the sites I frequent so I know whatever I say will probably get around to them. So I'm careful about what I share. I think I'd be a lot more open if I was sure people I knew personally wouldn't end up hearing these things.

I only know one person that is here occasionally IRL, and I trust that person quite a bit. Rare for me, but true, so if they see it I don't mind.

The internet is really good for things like that, I think. Openness and communication can solve a lot of problems.

    I can relate with Donna. I tend to be really careful what I say for the same reason - and extremely careful offline. Most of the people I know aren't exactly accepting, and I'm from a very, very old fashioned italian family who would probably try to preform an exorcism on me if they could read my mind half the time xD.

That's one thing that does annoy me about my facial hair, though. My hair is black, and even if I shave very close with a new razor, I STILL look like I have a shadow. Grargh.
