So I sat down for supper today and couldn't help but notice the various eating tactics of my mother and room mate.


I eat my spaghetti by sticking my fork through the sauce and twirl mt fork and get a big wad of noodles.


My Mother chops the spaghetti up into bits and eats small bite size mouthfuls.


And Most notably.. My room mate uses an interesting strategy of shoveling a few bits of noodle into the spoon, then adds some meat, and eats it with a spoon.



So my question for you, how do you eat your spaghetti?
Is it interesting or unusual?

Do tell.

I eat spaghetti with a fork, my parents are always 'use a spoon, it'll be easier.' it's never easier. The spoon fumbles all over the place, there's no control.

I'm content with eating my pasta with a fork and lots, and lots, of cheese.

• I use the fork-stab-and-twirl method... sometimes I get too much, though, so I have to start over. X3
  
  Oh~ and I always try to get a little meat at the same time as the twirling. :3 It's kind of difficult but it doesn't fall off most of the time. If it does, I pick up some meat on the fork after I'm done twirling the spaghetti.

I eat it like your mom does.

actually i don't eat spaghetti. it's the only noodle i don't like. i find it very long, messy, and i don't like the texture. i like thick noodles, or angel hair pasta. basically any form of pasta other than spaghetti that can be easily eaten with a fork.

I just...eat it. Messily. I'm no prim and proper lady. xD

I usually just slurp it... or I twirl it around my fork.

I don't eat spaghetti... I can't eat squishy stuff. Any pasta, noodles, ramen, it's gross.

It depends on how lazy I'm feeling.
If I have enough energy/interest, I'll use the stab/twirl method. Occasionally I get too much on the fork though and it all slips off. ;_;

When I lack interest or energy, I use my lazy method; Scoop up as much pasta as possible and slurp it up. x3

twirl a fork around and keep it there with a spoon or just dig my hands in it because you know im too lazy to get silverware

I try to spin up my noodles into a neat little ball, but it never stays that way, so I just end up slurping up my noodles in a noisy fasion, getting sauce all over my chin *nod nod*

I eat spaghetti in a lot of different way.

I'll twirl it sometimes and get a wad like you do.
Other times I'll use the fork and just shovel the spaghetti into my moth and bite off the hanging part. I just had pasta a few hours ago and I ate it like a dog because of my lack of a fork. xP

that room mate of yours makes me think of a friend who eats broken chips with a spoon... nvm, dont ask.


if the noodles are really long i will cut them in half, the twirl them onto my fork and eat a big mouth full.

if they're normal medium length noodles i just twirl a small amount onto my fork and the scoop a little sauce on top and eat.

yea, I work at a food court restaurant and I picked some long ones on purpose when this little girl came to order a small plate of spaghetti. When I eat them, I always loved slurping the long ones. But when her mom came to pay, she used a knife and chopped them all up into two inch long ones. I felt really bad that that lil girl never got the joy of slurping on a long one.

Well, I like leaving them exactly the way the cook made it, and then using a fork, do the twirly thing so I bunched them all up on my fork and eat from there ^ ^

At home, I use chopsticks though because I'm used to using them for all kinds of food, but I still do the twirly thing. ^o^

With a fork!!!! Yummy!!

And some times with ma hands!!!! Lol I kid I kid!!!

I eat it pretty much the same way you do soda, I twirl it around my fork and put it in my mouth, that's pretty much the way my whole family does it.

I eat my spaghetti with just a fork

I stick my fork down vertically, twirl it, get it on there good, then scoop some sauce and meat.

Mmmm...Spaghetti..Well first I totally scarf down the Meatballs, yum. Then I just take a big wadd of it into my fork and start slurping. ^^
Screw the damn spoon, it takes too long. I take like, 10 minutes just to roll it halfway up. D<
Plus, rolling up spaghetti makes my hands get cramps. D:
Afterwards, I eat any left over chilli topping. :3 Yumm...Chilli. xD

I eat my spaghetti with a fork. I wrap the spaghetti around the fork using the fork and eat it. Plain and simple.

I twirl mine with a fork. It can get very sloppy though,sometimes the noodles don't make it into my mouth. ._.
