Ok, so This is my second day on Menewsha.
I am also a user of Gaia Online.
I have seen at least two threads complaining about Gaia users coming to Menewsha and comparing it to Gaia.

I just have to say this, I'm not bragging, but Gaia was before Menewsha, so of course people are going to compare it.

Stop complaining about how bad the forum topics are getting.
There isnt anything wrong with them

Gaia's GD and chatterbox is just full of spam and BS topics that aren't even worth clicking on.

So far, I haven't seen any replies like
"needs moar -blah blah blah insert numerous stupid images here"
and I haven't seen any illegible threads or replies.
There's no chat speak.

Menewsha is pretty clean and tidy.
Just because people from Gaia are using it, doesn't
mean that it's going to go downhill.
So stop complaining for the sake of complaining.

Nope, I am not complaining so I'm not being a hypocrite.
I am simply stating that anyone that complains about what I have mentioned needs to cut it out and move back onto enjoying a pretty cool and healthy site for communion.

im not exactly a hypocrite but the body bases in gaia is more of my type than in here.

but the good thing in menewsha is people are much friendly and the items are quite unique..except that gaia copied the crown, some staff, kaia the tiger.. and bias on some stuff..i reckon at least menewsha's aim of having a fun time is a successful thing. i appreciated much better staying in here than gaia for that..*not matter how expensive i have on my gaia account o.0..*

for being insensitive to people who dont live in california, USA..like its not really something im against to people who live there ^^;; Kaia the tiger..more like an imitation in menewsha..

and some quest that can be played to a certain countries only..i have enough of them..im giving up buying donations on there anymore..so im here in menewsha instead lols

People are worried because before the add came out Mene was relatively small and now their has been a very large growth within a very small amount of time. And although Mene is clean of spam and other such threads people are worried that such a huge growth could bring with it all the things that they came here to avoid.
As it is I have seen more locked threads in the last few days on this site than I have since joining a few months ago.

well i guess its about time to check on spammers ^^, well i know a site who does something bad but yeah, i reckon that a little bit on checking forum post is a great deal for a friendly site like menewsha

^^Personally I think Kaia is ugly... but W/E let the Californian's have their little mascot.

But about this topic... I'm personally sick of seeing this supposed division. I have a feeling for a long time people will be referring to what's happening here and saying a few years down the line (if we get that far) how awesome Mene was before the TekTek advertisement. I'll never know what it was like or if indeed it was any better. I've been having a great time on here, and I don't see what all the fuss is about.

You see someone breaking the rules then report them. Don't go all "I hate all of them" on us.

Oh well... It seems like there are a lot of topics on this subject, I think we all should let it go and start having fun again grudge free.

The rush of users from Gaia did bring about a lot more spammers than we are used to, I'm not saying all the users from Gaia are bad, seeing as how I migrated over from Gaia a few months back. Just the sudden influx of new users that came so suddenly. Now that the ad is down and most of the spammers got bored and left it's calming back down and we are left with users who aren't going to trash the forums. I agree with Aeisha, I haven't seen so many locked threads or "How do I make gold" threads since I joined.

I don't mind the add I couldn't get my friends to join Mene and the way I see it is that eventually all the spammers will get sick of having their posts deleted and go back to gaia and we will be left with all the nice good people.
So yeah bring on the good times again.
(the forums where getting boring anyway, there are only so many things a small group of people can think up))

probably i will get back in gaia on halloween cos it will be a freebie week

i hope there will be a halloween stuff in here too cos i love orange coloured jumpsuits on my avy lols

I think you are so right midnite, I am also a user of gaia but I must admit that I think I like this site alot more. Only coz its on a lot smaller scale, they are new, don't have alot of pop up adds and google adds and they seem to have very good customer service skills to boot so how can you go wrong with being a member?
