I got an infection in my eye a week ago.
It came from a breakout a get on my face like once or twice a year.

It ended up getting in the corner of my eye.
Its been gone for a week...

And they say my tear ducts are sensitive or damaged.
Ever since its gone away, my eye constantly tears up, then sheds an occasional tear.
It doesn't do it rapidly enough to blur my vision...

But it constantly looks like I'm crying.
It could be like this way for the rest of my life...or it could be temporary.

I'm just kinda bummed.
>3<

Discuss:
-Permanent/long term temporary injuries or conditions you've had/someone else has had.
-Medical links I could visit?
-Should I visit an eye doctor if its not better in a week?

Oh man, that really fucking sucks. I can't imagine what that would be like. Crying when you aren't even crying. Having people make jokes about it untill you die (If you have it for the rest of your life)... Ouch. *offers free hug*... I really do hope that it goes away!

I was thinking you were going to so that you had an infection on your eye that got so bad you had to get your tear ducts removed to prevent the infection from spreading to the inside of your body and therefore you'd never be able to cry again. So just think, it could be worse x)

Ah, but this is no joking matter, it sounds kind of serious. Then again if you read that first paragraph you'd find it makes almost no sense, therefore showing my lack of knowledge about medical stuff. I'd get it checked out if I were you. Well, I hope your eyes feel better. I can only imagine how annoying it might be to constantly answer the question "what's wrong?"

I got something in my eye during shop class a couple of weeks ago, and my eye was all red and puffy and watery, and it kinda made the rest of my face red because I was not only embarrassed, but it HURT! All day people were like "Are you okay?" "What's wrong?" "Boyfriend troubles?" and I'm like "No." "No." "No, I have something in my eye." "No, something got in my eye" It was SO annoying.

Luckily my dad is leasing a lasik company that also does like, eye checkups and sells glasses and stuff so I got in right away for them to look at it for me.

You should definitely get it checked out as soon as you can. Eyes are really sensitive organs, and can be easily damaged or ruined. D:

No, I have no idea why it's so funny.

People always think I'm 'down' or cried since I get alleries worked up a lot.

Man, I hope you don't end up looking sick/crying your whole life! Winter season is already bad for me, so I know what it's like - having teachers ask you all the time, "Are you alright? Do you need to go to the clinic?"

-hmm... that might have something to do with me falling asleep in their classes, but wte.

It's bad to have your tear ducts damaged since that's how you keep your eyes hydrated! Yea, check out some doctors so they can clear it up.
