I know most people get music stuck in their head...but tonight, for some reason, I seem to have a dark shade of almost blue purple that keeps popping into my mind. O_o Sometimes I get words stuck in my head too...does anyone else get fixated on anything other than music?

- It's phrases and abstract thought that gets caught in my head. Music I can put in on command though although it doesn't stick. The one that has been in my head for a few months now would be "the life that is thy death." I dunno why it started popping up early in the summer, but it just did. I keep randomly having inspiration to write and then the products turn out uncompleted as i'm then distracted by another concept. D:

If someone says a word over and over again, I get really stuck on it and I think about how that particular word is a really strange word.
For example, a couple of years ago my Advanced Written Composition (which was actually expository writing) teacher was ranting to my class about how people use the word "that" way too much. He said "that" probably twenty times rapid fire within the next five minutes, and I just got totally fixated on it.

Parts to an anime, or lines in songs or an anime that I can't forget.
Sometimes feelings as well, or partial parts of dreams and that'll be all I can remember. =/ It's so weird. xD

I get memories stuck in my head. . . no that's not quite what I mean.
When I'm trying to fall asleep at night, I can't help but remember the most embarrassing and worst things I've done in the past few years. The more I try to ignore it the more they keep popping up. . . D:

I usually only get music stuck in my head, but sometimes I get words either in french or english stuck in my head. Some things that people say to me tend to stick in my mind too.

I usually get music stuck in my head.
Sometimes people I miss too.
Once I couldn't get the word "fuhgeddahboutit" out of my head, after reading it out of a Manga, I kept saying it and people gave me strange looks xD

Like everyone else, I usually get music stuck in my head.
Othertimes, its test materials. :<
I can never seem to be getting THAT out of my head the day before the test. Then when I take the test *poof*
all my studying and material sticking in my head disappears. :<

Aside from songs..?
I have a line from a scene in a commercial stuck in my head. D:<
not the commercial itself, just this one line..D:<
Also, the thought of certain actors keep popping into my head, leading me into thinking of other things, like a scene from Robot Chicken wont leave me alone! D<
Korean words are also fluttering around in my head..);

I get quotes or phrases stuck in my head and I end up saying them a lot D:
Mostly it's horrible lines like "THAT'S WHAT SHE SAID"... I can get really annoying, sadly.

Sometimes random junk pops into my head. It just depends...
If I can't think of something, like a word... I don't remember it when I need to,
but later it'll be stuck in my head all day. XD Sometimes it'll be a random quote.
Plus, random images could get stuck in my head, or a clip. It'll play over in my mind.

anyway, i get phrases stuck in my head, also. shakespeare has a way of never leaving me alone, and certain latin words and phrases that have rhythm (one such phrase stuck with me so much, i got it tattooed on my back 8) )..not to mention the english translations.
good to know i'm not utterly and completely alone :D

I've ended up with the Bene Gesserit "Litany Against Fear" jammed in my head a number of times. For some reason it's sort of sticky, at least to my mind.

I remember people's faces. They randomly pop into my head sometimes O_O
I got painful memories to ponder 'bout-
but that's normal, we all have that (by reminiscence our brain prepares alternative methods to deal with difficult situations-re-chewin' ol' memories and flashbacks is part of our learning process).
I get songs in my head all the time, it's like a radio (and sometimes my 'tape' gets 'stuck' and I end up repeating the funny parts of a song, over, over and over again).

Songs, namely.
It's always the same repetitive, annoying verse too. It's exhausting!
