I hate calling customer support too! Yesterday, we got our first phone bill from our new Family Talk Plan T-mobile cell phones and my dad freaked over the price, and this 'one time activation fee' he didn't remember hearing about. And, since my dad's English gets really hard to understand when he's angry, I had to do it. I've been calling customer support since I was in third grade... And I hate it every time. There's nothing more annoying and tedious! So I call and my dad keeps on pestering me about "ask her this! And ask her to explain this!" UGG! I had to do homework (which became an all nighter - I had no sleep. This was my first time!) and then my dad complained about my 'snappy' attitude towards the prospect of calling customer support. I'm pretty sure my dad and I are the same. We both hate customer support and tries to get the other to do it. And there's my mom rolling her eyes while trying to hear the television while we're arguing. AND why does customer support need so many buttons and the 'say your query' makes me feel so stupid when people are around and they ask 'So you got a representative on?' Me: "No, just a voice message..." (duh, I don't talk to myself on the phone...) |
Switch to a different phone provider.
My boyfriend works for tech support for Future Shop. He hates it. The people calling can be really rude. |
I've only had a cell phone once, and my service ended up getting booted because I didn't pay for it when I went travelling for a month. It was a nice service to, but only available in my state, I think. I believe it was around fifty a month, and that included everything; Unlimited calling, texting, and long distance. Now, I just use my house phone. It's cheaper, and I don't have to worry about any cell phone mumbo jumbo. xD
