I see. Well, if he's the lead singer and you care about him, wouldn't you want to know about his career?

I'll have to find some of their music and have a listen, I guess. Tomorrow, maybe, since it's a bit late and I'm sleepy.

Seriously, though.. if you like femme guys, try looking up some of Hyde's solo work on youtube. There's a really pretty song called Evergreen where you can have a pretty good look at him (since the whole video is him sitting on the swing of a giant birdcage and playing a guitar while singing)... and his other songs from 'Roentgen' are good.. he does some rock/pop on his other two albums 'Faith' and '666' that are decent.

*writes down Tokio Hotel to look up later* Always like finding new bands. Bill's style reminds me a little bit of a phase Miyavi went through before growing his hair out and wearing more hip-hop clothes.

Hongske 10-20-2007 10:52 AM

  • Tokio Hotel is a band with German origins that is starting to get really popular with the mainstream in Europe, but that has existed for a couple of years now. They were only noticed by larger population when they started singing in English and appeared on TV-stations like TMF in Belgium.

The genre of music is pop/rock, but the singer (feminine Bill) has a Visual Kei style (it's also the reason why the band is called 'Tokio Hotel' while they're German, Tokio is German for Tokyo). Bill's the lead singer, I think his brother is the drummer and I don't even know the two others.

Personally, I think they're another typical band that won't last more than two years (if it's not less) and that's been made mainstream. Everything's turning mainstream nowadays (especially the emo-lifestyle which most people take as a fashion statement and not as the lifestyle that it is), next you know the wannabes will start going metal. One of the reasons why I don't like Tokio Hotel is that all the emphasis is put on Bill and that other guy (can't remember if it's his brother or someone else) and the two other members of his band are mostly unknown. I'm not even motivated to go look anything up about them.

And to be honest, I prefer Miyavi of all pretty boys. He's just too adorable and he's got an unique voice (I love half of his numbers and hate the other half sometimes).

@ Jynk: Hey, you're right. Bill does look like Miyavi in one of his earlier stages! x]

Super Junior - Rokkuguh

The man you see in the 1st 20 seconds to the 47th second (the one with the pink glitter suit also the one who's holding the umbrella)

LOOKS LIKE A GIR- I mean... SHOULD BE A GIRL!

Chaitealatte 10-20-2007 11:09 AM

I've only actually met one guy whose (in my opinion) convincingly pulled off looking like a girl (most people I know envy his figure. D<) and he's also the only guy I know whose convincingly dyed his hair (I'm too fond of plainness for my own good).

He worked in the shop next door to the one I did for a while, and actually made my Dad's head turn in utter puzzlement. "Who's the hermaphrodite?"

He wears dresses REALLY WELL too.

And he's nice, to boot. I was waaay too shy to talk to him - how could I find anything to say to somebody so cool when I was so BORING! - but we petted a kitten the store owner found together and talked about liking cats. And when a shop up the road caught fire, we sat on the steps and chatted about that - and a fox that I'd taken a picture of on my phone, who'd been sitting on top of the glass roof of a shopping centre in the nearby city. o__O

But really, whatever makes people happy. ^ ^

@Chaitealatte: Cool! I wish there were more androgynous boys in Belgium, they can be really pretty!

Well, you should at least tell one of your relatives about you being BI.

since people tend to do the "YOU'RE WEIRD" look at you... >.>; oh and sexuality isn't something to be afraid off~

Kukon 10-20-2007 11:20 AM

I think it would be best to tell my mom first.

Apado 10-20-2007 11:21 AM

Mom's are best if you need some counseling >w<

Kukon 10-20-2007 11:24 AM

  • In the Bozzy & Expo stores in Ghent, they've got TH pillows, really big ones to with Bill's face printed in the middle of it and the rest of the band surrounding him.

Apado 10-20-2007 11:35 AM

  • ABINGDON! Oh my, we seem to share a lot of common music interests, lawlz.
-shakes hips to beat of INNOCENT SORROW-

Taviren 10-20-2007 01:05 PM

Hm... I like feminine guys... but not uber feminine guys. I mean, they are very pretty and interesting looking, but not quite to my taste. I like a man who can be pretty and still exude a very masculine presence.

Wordstreamer 10-20-2007 01:36 PM

I think feminine guys are awesome. <3. There's nothing wrong with masculine guys, but feminine guys are typically nicer... Not effeminate, just feminine. (I define that as being the difference between being in touch with your stereotypically female side and behaving like a stereotypical homosexual. Not all gay men are awful--nor all bi men--but the stereotype sucks.)

goldfish67 10-20-2007 01:38 PM

yes feminine guys rule..the guy i like is feminine (other people sometimes call him gay but according to his myspace he's not) :)

Natt` 10-20-2007 01:51 PM

I am bi as well, but I don't really think I'm into feminine women
I just don't want a guy who has a hairy back and is massively overweight

Also, it seems that a lot of guys who like feminine men are always running around with pictures of men with makeup from Japan
What do you think your chances are of getting something like that O_o?

StormRose 10-20-2007 04:15 PM

It's a balance. If he looks more like a girl than me? That's a biiit much. Bill? He's acceptable. I can still tell he's a guy. It not so much the femme appearance as the feminine sensitivity that gets me though.

Katurine 10-20-2007 04:20 PM

Feminine guys are love! Bill sure is cute. My current crush, a certain Scottish boy, tends to look like Avril Lavigne sometimes(not on purpose, of course)and is just plain pretty. :D Oh, and my favorite vocalist and guitarist, both Japanese, just look like women.
