I could never work in McDonald's I would be too tempted to eat the food I would be making.

At my local mcdonald's we alway's see the McDonald's employee's outside the building smoking a fag and eating a mcdonald's burger with a donut and milkshake in their break.

Doe's any of the empolyee's do that at your McDonald's?

Plus if I ever had to work in a Mcdonald's fast food department I would never work in my local mcdonald's, the cleanliness is disgusting, and I'm not a snob.

I will alway's remember the time I went into my local McDonald's and ordered a Big Mac with Coke, They didn't have any ingredient's for the Big Mac so I had to have a kid's happy meal, PLUS, they didn't have any Coke, Lemonade or Milkshake so I had to have orange ( tango ). After ordering Before I wen't left I went to the men's toilet's to find that someone had taken a number 2, in the urinal. So I just walked out and held it in until I got home. :x

I was told that they use a coke syrup by my friend, is it true or is he lying as usual?

Hardly anyone I know whats to work in McDonalds where we are. They are really nasty where we are and they're kind of funny about who they employ and they put you doing some really nasty jobs as well and if it isn't done well enough you have to over and over again until it's done to their satifaction. I know someone who's brother worked there and he didn't like it because the were so nasty and they where being funny with him like he wasn't allowed to go when his shift was supposed to end and things.

But there are a lot of people who want to work there round where I am and if you get fired from McDonalds it's just a short walk to go and get a job at KFC. They have McDonalds and KFC opposite each other but McDonalds seem to be the most popular, KFC always seems to be empty.

IF we smoke we're supposed to do it past our crew parking lot which is around 100 feet from the store, though alot of people just like to smoke next to the propane tank. Though their is this one who does like to smoke on the front patio. but she's ...different.

I work at McDonalds too. I only work in Drive-Thru or Front Counter.

May 1st. I'll be getting a job there. The one by me has a staff of pretty much 9th graders (a few older 8th graders, and one adult work there as well).

If there was some place of than a fast food "restaurant" around that employed people under 16, trust me I'd take anything over flipping burgers.

Hehe yeah I often see people smoking by the propane tank also. The employee's tend to sit down with the milkshake in one hand with the fag between their finger's and chip's in the other.

I also hate it when people get food from McDonald's, park next to a bin in the car park and dump their food next to the bin once theyv'e finished!

When you say bin, are you talking about say a castle bin (garbage/rubbish bin) or a dumpster bin?

Pretty much after 7 at our store its all teenagers.

I used to work at McDonalds. Worked there for 13 months. I loved my job! Favorite position was grill, but they tended to put me in back drive.

I actually worked at a 24-hour Jack-in-the-Box to put myself through college. (My parents refused to sign for a student loan, being mostly illiterate and not understanding the whole process.) Strangely enough, even 25 years later, I have never had a job which I've enjoyed so much as feeding the late-nighters after the bars closed. There's something very pure and visceral about feeding others. I still feel drawn to it, and I'm always making casseroles and baking cakes for my friends.

That's a little rude of you to say. That's pretty much insulting anyone who works at a fast food restaurant.

I'm working there so I can pay for university, I don't have another choice. I live in a small town, and this was the only job available, what are you a snobby rich kid who can just rely on mommy and daddy to pay your way through school? guess what I can't, and I work my ass off.

Nope. I work at PetSmart and I love it there for the most part, although I do get stressed out on some days. McDonald’s probably wouldn’t be too bad though, if it didn’t have that awful meat smell in it. I can’t stand that smell, which is why I hardly ever go in to eat anywhere, even at places that are not fast food.

EDIT: I would take any job available if I didn’t have one though. Since the unemployment rate here is the highest in the nation and there are no jobs people don’t really have much of a choice to where they work. I hate those people who put down people that work in “degrading” fast food jobs. Seriously, there’s nothing wrong with working at a fast food place. People just need to get over themselves and stop being spoiled little brats.
