My mom's rule for getting a job was "it has to be in walking distance." The closest McDonald's is about 6 miles away from home and requires walking some pretty busy streets >.>;;
I worked at a small, kind of fast food-ish restaurant instead xD;;
Though I could have applied at Wendy's now that I think about it.

My ex husband always said the same thing. Oddly enough, he didn't mind living off of welfare. Turned out he was just lazy.

If you have to much pride to work, then there's something wrong with you. Seriously. Sure, there's better jobs, but that doesn't make it a bad job. Lots of people start there.

I was a fry girl at McDonalds when I was younger. I liked the job pretty well, but couldn't handle it for long. It's hard work keeping up with a lunch crowd and Petland was hiring. :D

That's a little rude of you to say. That's pretty much insulting anyone who works at a fast food restaurant.

I'm working there so I can pay for university, I don't have another choice. I live in a small town, and this was the only job available, what are you a snobby rich kid who can just rely on mommy and daddy to pay your way through school? guess what I can't, and I work my ass off.

I understand! I had 2 jobs before I left for college to pay for tuition! There is nothing wrong with working in the fast food industry... sorry for this little digression....
