I'm having an odd conversation with my friend right now. He asked me, if I could choose between one, if I would choose love or music. I chose love, he said he would choose music because for him, music is love. To me, though, they're two completely different, great things, but they're not the same.
I chose love because you can experience it even if you're deaf. Any kind of love, platonic, family, or romantic. It makes the world go round; I get happier over love than I get happier over my music, even though I adore the musicians I'm enthusiastic about.
I think love and music are both really important, but love trumps anything.
What's your take?

My take is:
That is a horrible ultimatum.
Both of those things are important to my everyday life.
So, I choose not to answer this.

It is a horrible ultimatum. ;P
Hopefully, we won't ever be forced to choose.

Love.
I don't listen to music all that often and I don't care for it as much.

I think they are different things that yes might complement eachother but...it is like asking you to choose between a feeling and a hobbie, we know music is something with a high conection with feelings but it is just an element to express feelings, like art ..so to me they are different things

Yeah. Some people are more musically inclined than others and more willing to listen to music, but everyone wants to be loved.

I would have to take love as well...though I'd hate to live without music. I think the two are pretty interconnected, but it's harder to fathom music without love than love without music...
Kind of like the chicken or the egg question...a little bit...

You can't just have love without music, or vice versa. It just doesn't work. Wouldn't that create some sort of imbalance between yin and yang, thus resulting in the collapse of the universe?
I choose both. For the safety of the world.

What about deaf people? Literally, you can have love without music.
But I see your point.

i choose, music. to me, music dont cheat, they dont make u mad, u wont feel insecure, they make u feel good and relaxed~
i dont know but i tend not to believe in guys, as people said we learn from our experience..thats mostly what i did..its not that i dont want to believe in them, its that i cant..whenever a guy confess to me, i dont feel like its their real feelings..
i guess i need some more time for love, and for right now my life is filled with music =)

Deaf people can still feel the beat of the music. Just because you can't hear music, doesn't mean you can't feel it :]

I agree with her. Music won't hurt you. Instead, it can make you feel better. >_>

I find music exist in everything - the clink of cups, taps of pencils, clicks of mouses (computer). That's everything.
Deaf people often claim they just have a different type of 'music' they hear.
Love - to take it away is like taking away your soul.
My answer - too much for my poor noggin to decide >.<

In my opinion,
I'd have to say..
I'd choose none.
They're both such great things.
But honestly, that's a bad ultimatum.
