If anyone has watched a proper japanese movie you'll know that the majority of ghosts look like this. This is me posing as a japanese ghost coming down the stairs of an art studio I worked for it was so funny and creepy. the art studio was an old malt house so it had a ominous dark feel which really added to the spookyness unfortunatley I took this on a very dated camera phone . :?

The funny thing about that is movies like the Grude and the Messengers all tried to copycat that kind of ghost in their movies.

It would be a pretty freaky thing to see on hollween if you can pull that off wilst still going down the road to scare a few trick or treaters.

Needs to be a little paler too. :p

ya just dress creepy and crawl around on the ground in the middle of the street on a dark road that not many people drive on and wait for someone to come and scare the crap out of them^-^ but you have to crawl like they do on the grudge the best that you can. lol

Hm, just reminds me of the game 'Fatal Frame'.
That game was so scary to play at like 3:00 in the morning with my crazy friends...

I love it and hate it at the same time when things crawl like that. It's creepy, which is awesome when I'm watching a horror movie, but it's...well, it's creepy. xD I don't want to think about that thing crawling out from under my bed in the middle of the night.

Anyway, that's an awesome picture you have there.

Hm. It looks like Samara (sp?) from the Ring or the kid from the Grudge. Eh. I never do scary photos with my friends. I could never keep a straight face if I did.

Once I was at my friend's house talking about scary movies. She moved to Japan when she was really little(less than a year old) so she grew up there and LOVES scary movies. Now she had long black hair. We were sitting in her family room on beanbag chairs, and to scare me she flips her hair into her face and starts crawling towards me making that sound the girl makes in The Grudge.

Holy crap it was scary.

Most Japanese horror films make me laugh. XD It's not that I don't love the Japanese movies it's just that I don't find them scary. I think I almost laughed myself to acoma when I saw Uzumaki and Ju on...I think that's how the Ring is spelled but I know I saw the Japanese version of that and the Grudge. I even find a lot of American horror films funny *Jason had someone in a big bag and banged them against a nearby tree..now that was funny. XD* But anyways not so scary but very accurate. >w<

Lol, most make me laugh too. I know none of it is real so it kind of kills the joy for me. But it makes me laugh to know that other people get scared so easy.

Japanese Horror films can be scary for most people but for me... Its just Pathetic. People say that I am not normal for thinking the way they do, I believe it makes me unique for not being scared by such non sense that isn't even real. If it was stuff that can happen to me, then I would be a little worried.. but otherwise its just a waste of my time if it doesn't have some kind of "make me laugh" in it...I am interested what you people have to say about the way I think, so by all means, PM me or reply to this while I am still in this Topic.

I dont know...after seeing the Ring and The Grudge, I just don;'t find those kinds of things scary anymore. Those movies themselves werent even scary.
Maybe if I had never seen those movies before I would think that it was a bit creepy, but otherwise, it's just a person with long hair falling down the stairs.

It's good though. Very much like the movies.

I never really watch Japanese horror films, because I'm not a really big fan in horror movies. XP

But that's an interesting picture! <33

The Grudge. 8D
And that's probably how the Japanese envision ghosts and vengeful spirits. =O Still human-like.

D8 I don't like scary things. I saw the grudge when I was dorming in Korea during the eight grade. D:
I watched it in the basement of the dorm, so it was really creepy. >o< </3

Then I saw it again when I came back to America with a bunch of my friends in her basement. I didn't want to see it again because I always imagine something coming up to freaking scare the heck out of me. Monsters' faces are so ugly, so it freaks me out. </3
Kay anyway, so the lights were all out and the movie just ended so I could barely see anything except for this little orange glow from the bathroom in the basement cause there are the boilers in there too.
I started to walk towards the stairs to run upstairs to get away from being in the dark until a friend of my just all of a sudden popped out from the door pulling himself fast across the floor with that grudge noise trying to grab my leg.

I was never so frightened in my life from a joke.
=(

Then the next day, I was walking to school when I saw a friend and I said hi. (She is more scared of horror movies than anyone else I know.) She took a look at me and started to scream and freak out because I somewhat resembled the grudge's face. D:

And that wasn't a joke.

/sigh/ I am not that ugly. ;o; </3
I couldn't go near her for a while until she got over it. -.-

Horror movies themselves don't scare me. It's later on when my imagination goes crazy. I'm very good at scaring myself. xD That's why books scare me way more than movies. You get to use your imagination more.

Ugh, my friend used to do that to me all the time. It was really creepy, I hated it. She didn't make any sounds though. The Ring scares me a lot more than The Grudge does.
