Majoring in music here. It's slow go with college right now since I need to work and I have a hard time keeping up in my classes (I can't sit down for hours a night doing homework without getting insanely depressed or just getting up and doing something else) so I'm taking my classes at a slower pace.

I should choose my major soon... I'm currently in as undeclared but I'm thinking of going into marketing/advertising. Of course, the social aspect is what I'll need to work on, I think it would be a good choice for me ^^

I'm actually focusing on music composition. Not really any instrument I'm focusing on at the current moment, I'll probably focus on percussion or piano if I do though.

I'm currently working for my Masters Degree but for both undergraduate and graduate degrees I am Computer Science with a specialization in Computer Securities.
If I decide to get my PhD, I'll probably end up researching encryption techniques. |

Actually, I have applied for the FBI and CIA before ^^ Didn't get accepted though for a few things that I'll just have to work on. I do hope to teach actually in the whole secret agent thing doesn't work out. Researching encryption is basically finding new ways to either hide a person's messages or to see a person's hidden messages ^^ It involves a lot of math but really intrigues me. I like the challenge. I could also create a program that would encrypt and decrypt messages through different methods. I have to find a professor first that would want to sponser me. |
We don't have 'majors' in the UK, but I'm currently at university studying Politics. Though I am doing elective modules in Sociology and Middle Eastern Studies.

All I listen to, really is instrumental soundtracks from movies, tv shows, commercials, and video games. I also listen to Rock, Christian Rock, and Soundtracks that aren't all instrumental, but not as much. ^^;; My favorite composer is Hans Zimmer. I also love James Newton Howard. I am currently a freshman in college and I am working on my BFA in animation with a focus in traditional animation. :3

Animation was my first choice, but I can't draw, so I chose Photography instead. But I love Photography, and I'm good at it, so it all works out! haha
When I first wanted to do animation, I remember thinking that I wanted to do what they do in Shrek, and Scooby Doo (the movie), and I wanted to see my name in the credits. I always wanted to work with movies, and being a Still Photographer for the movies, I will still be able to see my name in the credits! *big grin* EDIT: I like your art! <3 ^^ |

I don't think I'll major in anything. Which is a waste of all my good test scores, but I don't care. I plan on becoming a secretary(AKA office assitant), or a baker. Currently leaning towards becoming a baker. If I do though, I'm going to have to take some business classes. I would like to open my own bakery.. I think it would be fun... Hard but fun ^^ |

@darkvineyard: Howard Shore and Gary Stadler have a bit of influence on alot of my music. Right now my main influences come from a local renfaire band by the name of Elvendrums and Tuomas Holopainen's work with Nightwish.
