Well, I would like to be friends with a guy before I date him, as in know him a bit before anything really starts. Because how else will you know that he's the right sort of person for you?

However, if you mean date a guy that I've known for like a long time... well, that's a bit different. If something was really there, then sure. It could be meant to be. Maybe that's why we were friends in the first place. But if it's just something like a fling, then no--not that I've actually ever really done something like that (not that psyrien actually has any romantic experience whatsoever xD).

...but I do tend to fall for my friends. And what do I do about it? Nothing. I can tell my feelings aren't returned and that a big fat can of awkward will be opened if I open my mouth. So I just repress my feelings and try to let them die as they do with time. ...Yes, I know it's not very healthy, but why go through the trouble of ruining a friendship?
