If you've ever been to a site called Gaia Online, they also have a General Discussion. I just realized the topics here in the GD are wayyyy different than the topics in Gaia's GD. Compare:

Hmm, I'm just wondering. Does the size of your post affect the amount of gold you earn? I've been getting 1 gold for my other posts which were only 1 sentence, but whenever I make long posts, I get about 4-8 points. Hmm.

...yeah. I think most of us come from one avatar site or the other... and I came from Gaia. Gaia's mass of spamming people has led me to stay away from that site. o_o;;

And yes, the size of your post affects how much gold you get. The longer your post, the more your gold. The limit is 20g per post, though. It just shows how conversation is the key, not just spamming all over the place.

Back to comparing the GDs...
this one is MUCH more cleaner, but that can be bad too. I mean, everybody is so strict about discussing things and we don't even have a forum where we can just ramble (like the CB without spam.)

Yeah, Gaia seems to be filled with a whole bunch of kids who got their hands on WAY too much coffee. This is like the decaf version. xD

You can 'ex' it out. XD It's called Forum Pulse and I think it just shuffles the threads (maybe so that the threads at the bottom can be at the top)

Yeah, we should have one of those. Maybe a forum where we can just talk, but disable the gold earning? o_o
