I recored my voice on a digital recorder the other day. It sounded so odd. I really didn't like it. Hopefully that's not really what I sound like to other people. lol I sounded very childlike. >.-

Edgeworth 11-15-2007 09:59 AM

@Aisha; Ugh, well... I sounded like a crazed idiot.
But... I don't sound like that from what -I- hear...
;______;
I dunno.
NEW VOICE PLS LOL.

Aisha Woku 11-15-2007 10:01 AM

I wish I had a pretty voice I could sing with. xD That would be awesome.... >.>

ForkoFried 11-15-2007 11:44 AM

wel i have to say that i ABSOLUTELY HATE MY VOICE!
that is, the voice that everyone else hears...
it's not fair! when i listen to myself just with my ears, i like how my voice sounds,
but when i hear a recording of it (no matter how clear)
i just want to barf! it's horrible!
when i hear my voice it sounds like um... well it sounds not ear-splitting death, like how my voice really sounds to others, lawl!
i try to block it out of my head how horrible my voice really sounds, because it's so very depressing when i hear it!
especially since i like to sing!
oh my god it's dreadful!

Jhaybz.01 11-15-2007 11:54 AM

Low and loud at the same time so I'm not that really good at whispering. Why bother whisper if you know your voice could still be heard by people.x3

But what I like about my voice is I could control it when I sing.

D-Yoop 05-07-2008 11:47 AM

When I was young I always wanted to have a cool deep sounding voice. I guess that dream came true :XD
Still my voice sound as if I "talk through my nose", or so I have been told. I can see what they mean with that when I hear my voice.
Also my voice is kind of monotone, Im usually kind of quiet.
When I sing I can only reach high notes by singing falsetto. Which is cool, cause I love falsetto =D

Kukon 05-07-2008 11:50 AM

I dunno really. D: I hate my voice personally, but most say its cute and all. I dunno. >.<

Beck 05-07-2008 01:45 PM

My voice isn't high pitch or low pitch, but it leans more towards the high I guess. XD It's very childish I think, and I kind of have a lisp. -w-' So I sound dumb.

Sagitar 05-07-2008 02:59 PM

my voice is pretty much girly. :3
but it varies. if I'm around girls I get more and more girlier.. but it I'm around guys I automatically go lower xP
I don't know, I just think it's pretty normal!

Loubie 05-07-2008 03:00 PM

I don't have a normal voice, actually. It can change with my emotions. Why is that? I'm not sure, I don't think I've ever used my "normal" voice at all this year. Currently my voice can be in two ranges usually everyday. I have a deep boyish voice but I also have a little girl voice. There are times when they meet in the middle, there are also times when I sound like I should be a Pokemon. My friends get really mad at me when I don't use my normal voice with them because they think I'm being fake to them and not taking the conversation seriously. That's true most of the time but still. D: I can't really help it.

Bubblegum 05-07-2008 03:51 PM

My speaking voice is really annoying on recordings. ><; I sound like an obnoxious eleven-year-old, no joke. It's a little lower in pitch than most girls' voices I know, though.

Fullmetal Phantom 05-08-2008 08:11 PM

Sometimes, people have trouble determining my gender when I speak. I don't make it easier when I'm doing voice impressions...there are a few men I can impersonate. XD

Honestly, I voice act. I've done it for so long that I'm not entirely sure which voice is my natural one anymore. I do have a higher, definitely feminine one, and a squeaky, childlike one...among many, many others. I hope that latter one isn't actually my natural voice - it gets VERY annoying. XD

But whatever "natural" is, I do know that my voice is, ordinarily, rather clear. I personally think most of my speaking voices sound...*ahem* "special," though most people tell me otherwise. I think I sound better in foreign languages, because I'm always trying to imitate the accent. XD;

Beyond that, I don't really know what my natural voice sounds like. o_o

Teive 05-08-2008 08:39 PM

My voice is rather childish and it carries throughout the room. o_o I can be rather loud at times and I get in a lot of trouble for it XD

I like my voice though cause I've learned to change it a lot. Irish, British, A little boy XD (no really) and I've been told, by FEW, that I can sing....to an extent lol

FAGGY CHAN 05-08-2008 08:42 PM

Mine is in the middle.
It's not deep, and not high.
I'm told I'm very monotone. D;

The only time my voice gets high is when I'm gushing over something cute. -_-
Like baby animals. @[email protected] <33

ellaangelus 05-09-2008 08:27 PM

i love my voice, that's why i usually sing at home
but at the telephone or anything recording device or something like that...
omg, my voice is awful!

Merrow 05-09-2008 08:29 PM

Ahhh, I have a husky voice, but it still sounds feminine. My range can go from Barry White to Togepi.

Lassi 05-09-2008 08:55 PM

Mine is very much Alto, and ... I have a beef with that. While I'm glad not to sound like a freaking squeakster, I would absolutely LOVE to have a tenor voice. You know, something just a bit deeper, but not so much so that I sound like a dude :o necessarily - but maybe I could pull it off if I wanted. =3
For one thing... my favourite bands are male. And, the lot of them have baritone voices when they speak as well as sing. Is it any wonder why I might want to hit the lower octaves, much like my favourite people do? And oh my goodness if I get married (that'll be the day XD I'd be the fiercest wife this side of the planet), I hope to GOD my husband will have a baritone voice. No exceptions. It's so incredibly sexy, I don't want some high pitched, whinny little fart. No. Ok? No. I melt at a baritone voice - depending on who it's coming from. And, I myself, mm, though I'm female, I'd say I'm more what you'd call handsome (no that adjective does NOT only apply to males). So, why should I not have a 'handsome' voice to go along with my own features? This makes me really giddy just thinking about it. <<has a spastic attack of joy>>

Sadistix_Love 05-09-2008 08:57 PM

I have somewhat of a guy like voice if I am like hyper and talking like crazy. But around strangers, I have this very fake sugary voice. xD

slickie 05-09-2008 09:05 PM

I think my voice is a little unusual. I dunno, I guess it's a little low.

keokotheshadowfang 05-09-2008 09:07 PM

I hate the sound of my voice most the time. When I'm at school however It seems to be a more sweeter solf happy voice. :3
When I get hyper then my voice sounds wierd.

Bunai 05-17-2008 07:15 AM

depends on my mood and the people around me

-12 year old
-deep voiced 28 year old

i am also really quiet and barely audible

Mama Juru 05-17-2008 07:56 AM

Depends really. If I am talking with a customer on the phone I am very polite, professional, and clear. I can also have a phone sex operator voice if I want and when dealing with customers, sometimes I've had to use it to get them to calm down.

Mushy Kylo Hendricks 05-17-2008 11:06 AM

Right now, I'd say my voice is raspy, whispery, and all the things that go along with a sore throat/congestion. T_T It's horrible.

Usually I'm very energetic, and polite to a point. If I lose my temper, I'm rambling and fuming. I read outloud a lot, so I can speak pretty clearly for the most part, and I tend to talk really fast. Fast and clear, but all the same some people are too slow to catch up with what I'm saying. xD Well, normally people don't have a problem, but I've had customers that just didn't want things explained to them or didn't understand big words. I've had people throw in my face that no one uses big language and it's unnatural to speak that way. Uh, no, I really do use words like callous in my everyday speech. I love the word callous. xD

Anyway, the tone of my voice is pretty medium. Think of someone who can't sing, has a girly voice for a male and a deep voice for a female. Though I can change it around a little, and I'm able to do a few impersonations (mostly from .hack video games). xD

Sequined Messengers 05-17-2008 11:49 AM

My voice is sorta in between deep and high-pitched. It varies a lot, really, depending on what I'm saying, what kind of mood I'm in (the crankier, the deeper the voice) , etc.

But at the moment it sounds horrible, I have a nasty infection in my mouth and throat, so it makes my voice sound all bleghy.

Steve the Garden Hose 05-17-2008 01:02 PM

My voice is high pitched ;-;
It makes me sound more feminine D:
