Well it wasn't supposed to take that long. xD I was initially going to make it for A-kon this past June. However I ended up not going and therefore never started on my costume. |

I love lolita stuff. ...I just don't wear it because 1) it's expensive, 2) I'm not really a dress person. If I did actually own some stuff, I would wear it though--that's how much I love it. xD

I'm a fan of Lolita fashion, mainly Punk, Pirate, and Gothic. I'm a bit of a wannabe to the fashion(it's expensive..), going to thrift shops and such. I have a pair of shoes that look like Mary Janes, black ones with a hot pink rim around the top. And I have several tops with ruffles on them, knee high stockings, chains and ribbons.. all pretty much black and white. I get dubbed "gothic" a lot. ¬.¬ Even though I'm nude (eep!) on menewsha, I've been trying to be able to afford EGL items and other similar items of interest. On Gaia, though, I have a very gothic avatar (using a couple of the G-LOL items).
For shopping, if I could, I like looking at www.lolita-kisama.com . It's mostly a lot of Visual Kei, but it has other items for Lolita fashion. |
Angel wears Lolita... Mainly sweet and sweet gothic lolita. She has loved it for years and has been wearing it for years too although she only really understood what it was actually called like this year! People give Angel odd looks when she wears it. Her mom hates it because it's too childish, but Angels cousins LOVE seeing Angel in loli clothes! Although Isabel (5) keeps sticking her head up Angels skirts because she's fascinated with how they fluff out... XD Angel isn't worried about Isabel... much... |
I think it looks awesome, but I would never be able to pull it off myself. Plus, I'd have absolutely no idea where to get it. XD

But I don't wear it. I pretty much don't go anywhere, and it'd be kind of silly to wear a big elegant super expensive dress to the grocery store. XD But I would like to own some more casual lolita inspired clothing. Like, just a shirt with some ruffles on it or something. Nothing really that screams "lolita", just to quench my love of the fancy. ^^ |

just to be weird and see the reactions of people, but that's probably because I'm weird like that. xD |
