Well...yea. x-X
I prefer shopping online, because then you don't have to waste gas to get to the mall. xD
And they usually will have what you want.
Of course, this is only for books and such.
For clothes, I have to go to a mall. x-X
I don't get how people can buy clothes ONLINE. I mean, how do you know if it'll fit or look good on you?
So...yea. My daily wonderings. xD
For books, what do you prefer to use?
For clothes, what do you prefer to use?
And basically, a shopping thread. :3
You can recount your hilarious shopping trips, or those times when someone beat you to a bid, or when you found that perfect purse, or when you found the cheapest snowboard, whatever.
It all goes here for us to either sympathize or laugh at. x3

I dont like going to the mall alot however i do get urges and im like i want to go to Claires or I want to go to Hot Topic. So i like to shop at the Mall.
Also i love to buy online like at ebay but i dont have a credit card or debit card so i have to use money orders so that limits me alot of the time but i still find alot of stuff i like and they accept it so i personally like to go to both. I like online and the real mall but i do the mall more!

Rarely do I ever do shopping online.
I've bought some stuff off of Hot topic before
XD
&
I really want some Tokidoki merchandise now u 3u;;
But everything is usually down shopping at the mall.
Books,I go to Barnes and Nobles.
I love their collection of stuff x3<3
I sadly,have expensive taste.
.__.
I have to say my Favorite store is Hollister n__n;
I must go there this weekend~
Need some more clothes for winter.
Shopping online isn't one of my favorite things to get around with.
I can't imagine buying groceries from off the net.

I like shopping at the mall and shopping online.
I've bought books and clothes online and at the
mall, but I prefer buying things online. Mostly
because I can usually find things for cheaper
prices than if I had gone to a mall. But there
is also the fact that the malls are usually crowded.

Angel has to buy all of her loli and medieval clothes online because they're specialist. Angel is also thinking that she'll have to buy her corset online. Angels main problem is she's so tall though so she has to order custom made online so she is guaranteed a fit. She much prefers shopping offline, but can't get down to Camden with ease to get most of what she likes and is sure will be sold there...

The mall..If it had it's bookstore back..But it doesn't..T_T but I would still go to the mall, because you can actually try things on. Window shop, see someone you know... It's a fun place. I think the one near me is going to close down completely soon...

The money spent on shipping and handling of the items you ordered online could very well be used to go to the mall/store. C; ...where you only have to pay a small tax fee...('cept for in a few states, lol.)
I myself like to shop online. C; Just purchased a few items from alloy.com, BarnesandNoble.com, ...and some other site (which I can't remember at this time).

Except being able to feel the fabric, there's no other reason shopping online isn't better. I don't usually try on clothes anyways!
But. My dad has this whole fear of shopping online because of identity theft and losing his personal information and being cheated, etc. *rolls eyes*
I can get much better deals online and a wider selection...
But I won't use EBay except for collectibles. I rather shop at specialty online stores that carries cute things!

I'd like to be able to try stuff on and whatnot.
Like, just last week, I bought a new pair of Vans.

Well.
I'm normally a 9 in mens shoes, but an 10 seemed better when I tried them on. O:
I dunnoooo.
I just like to buy stuff in person. x]

I don't shop online. It's just weird.
Like, I'll search up items, but I won't shop online.
The mall isn't my favourite place to be either. I rarely go shopping, and when I do I usually get a CD.
My mom doesn't hand me enough money for hoodies and sweaters, and pants are hard to find because I have a small waist and my legs are quite long and thin- I'm told they're "model-like". And my mom doesn't want me buying shirts anymore because she thinks that I have enough. :/
And I'm extremely picky and fret about everything wrong with anything.

The mall is definitely the way to go.
If I'm buying clothes, I definitely want to try them on.
Even books though... I buy them at the mall.
I only use the internet when it's something I can't find.

I’ve only bought one thing online before and it was an adaptor for my computer. Unfortunately even though I had the part number correct, the adapter was still the wrong one. That’s the main reason I don’t shop online, you never know for sure if you’re going to get the right thing or not. >.< That and shipping costs.
I’d much rather go into an actual store and shop. I might break down and buy some manga online that I can’t find any bookstores. It’s pretty hard to mess up on books, not to say it couldn’t or wouldn’t happen.

The only stores I go to in malls are bookstores, game stores, and Hot Topic. I can't wear most of the clothes advertised in mall windows, so it just makes me depressed to look at them.

- I prefer to do all of my shopping in real life as opposed to online. It's fun. XD Also, I get to see if clothes look good on me, because an article of clothing that looks good by itself might actually have a weird fit, be too transparent, etc.
Sometimes I do need to shop online for the right sizes though, since stores I buy from like American Eagle and Hollister don't carry 00s, and the jeans in their stores are too big on me. D: There are some online-only stores I frequent too, or online shops of places that are too far away to shop at in person. I shop on urbanoutfitters.com often even though there is a BIG Urban Outfitters very close to where I live; the online store carries some exclusive online-only items and often has special offers going on.

shopping in a mall is alright but you can never gurantee if there will be everything you want where as somewhere like ebay if you want something you just type it in and its yours for the taking if you want it
i like shopping online as i can get everything i want very cheaply but i guess this takes the fun out of window shopping and walking around looking at stuff you cant afford then maybe buying it
i know you can do this on ebay but its not quite the same is it now
good old online shopping though i have bought alot on sites very cheaply
i also sell sometimes which is good...
you cant do that in a mall
happy shopping 8)

(as long as they're cheap xD)
because it gives me another excuse to hang out with people xD
although i do have a very fricken weird taste,
so there are quite a few things i have to buy that one can only find online, lawl

I'd like to buy both on the mall. Because buying online for me is kind of a lazy thing to do. For me its better to go to the mall because you could do a lot of stuff other than shopping for clothes, books, etc.
You could watch a movie, eat at a lot of restaurants or fast food chains and even hang out with your friends.

I like shopping online, I can get hard to find things but I have to pay shipping... My fieance's neice wants a husky webkin... I found it online for $10 with 4.99 shipping... that's the same price as at the mall, so he wants to check and see if they have it at the mall so he won't have to wait for them to ship it (he's impacient)
Clothes i have to try on.. I can put on 2 of the same shirt, but one will fit and one won't... go figure?
I actually hit alot of church fairs for holiday shopping. cheaper prices, and home made things are oftern cooler than stuff from the mall. ^_^

both really. i like going to shops more tho as there are usually questions i want to ask.
also i usually buy imitures so its annoying when some one else has already glued and painted it...seen as thats partly the whole point of it.
ebay is the only online site ive used so far and i quite like it. had a few products that could have been better quolity but thats the fault of the person i bought it from not ebay its self (of course lol)

I prefer the mall for both. I like to try on clothes and stuff so I know they will fit. However, I do buy cheap clearance shirts online every once in a while. They've all looked good on me so far and even if they didn't, I've only wasted like five bucks. Not too big of a deal, you know? I could always just give it to a friend or something.
As for books, I like to read a few pages of the book just to see if I like the way it's written and such. I haven't seen anything online where you could do that. I will buy little figurines or something from online though with no problem. I've gotten some pretty cool dragon things that way.
I've never used eBay before though. I think my cousin did set up an account for my mom and bought a keyboard for her with it though. She didn't really have any part in it except for paying.
