So I was in Photoshop working on this picture of mine. I'd been working on it for about three hours and I was fairly proud of it, when...

MY MOUSE FREEZES!
My mouse had been acting up, but I thought nothing of it, as Photoshop tends to make my whole computer lag. Ugh.

But.. OF COURSE, I didn't save. -_-
And I actually had Firefox as the active window so I couldn't do ANYTHING to get in there.

So.. I had to.. reboot my computer. Well, there goes 3 hours of work. And of course, even if I try to do it again, the original will have been much better.

Or you should learn the whole keyboard shortcut thing without your mouse. :o

I would have done some keyboard shortcuts, but I don't know any to switch tabs. Firefox was open when it froze, not Photoshop. XD

I didn't think to unplug it until it was halfway restarted... -bashes head-

That really sucks, I was be so pissed off if that happened to me.

If it ever happens again and you need to switch over to another screen hold Alt + Tab, a little window will come up and you can tab over to the window you want open.

I've had a couple times where my computer failed, but it probably wasn't as important... though I felt it was. xD
I used to play this MMORPG, Ragnarok Online.
I found a rare card that sold for a HUGE amount of zeny.
Coulda been rich.
Well guess what happens when I go to pick up the card?

My computer used to freeze, and restart on me all the time! It doesn't anymore but It was a real problem.

I've had that happen before. My computer just completely shut off while I was digitally inking some lineart of mine... I had to start all the way from the beginning after that.

Dude, that sucks. Once my internet shut off when I was IMing a friend of mine who hadn't been on in ages, and when I signed back on, he had logged off. He hasn't logged on since :[[[

MRAH! It just did it again!

I think there might actually be something wrong if it happens twice... within two hours of each other...

Thankfully, I wasn't working on anything this time.

Ugh, I had to restore my computer today because my sister
went onto a nasty joke site and got a virus. After three
hours of trying to get rid of IE Defender, it was still
there. And the only other option was sending it in to
technical support and having to pay them.

So I restored everything myself and ended up having
to delete everything. All my files, 100+ page stories,
pictures, favorites. D': Gah.

Wah, Ive had that before too D : And it was with a blue screen of death, making it all the worse. plus, I drew around 200 drawings on my old computer and dad couldnt save all of them ; 3;

Wow, that would suck to lose a bunch of drawings. :[

Oh wow, I had a situation in which I was doing a web that took two hours, and suddenly, the page freezes and I couldn't do anything about it! I almost began to scream, madness began growing, and almost went crazy! So I decided to close it and restart, and luckily, the computer had saved up almost all my work, so now I love that computer XD (Not really, cause that computer still does the same thing, and that is my dad's, cause I got one in my room, but it does not have a printer! >_< Need to buy one soon then.)

Alt + Tab. Sorry if it was said before, but that's all I could think of while reading your story.

Not-saving IS bad though, it has hurt almost everyone, I think, especially artist like me and you. <3

My old computer used to freeze all the time.
I finally got really fed up after I had been working on this project for about six hours...
It was so long, and so good.
I did save it, but after four hours so two hours of work, which was the hardest, went down the drain.
Mine happened so it was the whole computer froze and I got angry and kind of threw my mouse across my room.
Which wasn't good cause it broke so I had to go to Circut City, and buy a new mouse.
Then I just gave up and got a laptop.
I'm uber happy now.

^___^;;;; You should save every half an hour or less.
I learn to work with the keyboard when my mouse freezes up.

Ohmygosh, that sucks. I would like, kick my computer if that happened to me. The only horrid thing my computer has really done is beep like it was going to blow up at me. But I had spilled water on it, so I'm pretty sure I deserved it. Still, it was scary.

My computer used to do things like that, but then Christmas came early and my Aunt *FINALLY* wiped my computer.
I lost all of my music and my GIMP brushes, but at least my computer works =D

@Viki-- Oh my god, they finally let you wipe that piece of shit? Yay!

@Secret Love-- O_O Oh my. I try to refrain from throwing things while angry (because they break) but I do curse madly. XD

@Lejic-- I know that now, but I didn't know that then. I was REALLY irritated when I found out I could have saved and I just didn't know the shortcut. Grr..


But I did manage to fix my mouse!
Turns out it just needed new batteries.. O_O I'm sucha goddamn idiot.

I end up having things like that happen alot. I NEVER remember to save. Also my mouse is always going dead (although in my case it's okay because I also have that small tap one since it's a laptop), I think it's because when I get annoyed I slam it down. xDDD I've broken about 4 in the last year.
