Do you go to the gym?
Well im pretty bored, so this got in to my mind, lol
Do you go to the gym? if you do how long have you been there? and if you can, can you tell us why do you go Me, yea i go, it started going for 4 month ago, Why well to stay at home doing nothing I preffer waste my time there, lol, its better, I recommend it! |
Our school has a large gym facility. We call it the fitness center and it's actually quite professional. <3 You have to pay for a membership, I have one, and I go there quite often. I stay for about an hour or two just so I can stay in shape.
|
I go to the gym because I was in a car accident and hurt my neck (almost a year ago). My physiotherapist told me I had to build up the muscle and what not so I have to go. It's alright I guess.
|
I used to go to a gym in my town, but it was 10-15 minutes away by car and I could only go when my friend was going so I stopped going. I think I could get just as much of a result walking around my neighborhood. But unfortunately, just wanting to go around my neighborhood is more difficult for me because I'm lazy and I actually have to get the urge to walk around before I can exercise. ^^;;

I do. I started going about a week ago.
My university has quite a fantastic fitness facility (multiple facilities, actually) and I pay like $5 000+ a year to go the damn place so I figure I might as well use it. I don't really use it in the summer because I get so much exercise anyway from playing sports with my friends and biking everywhere but in the winter I find it's pretty necessary so I don't balloon up to a ridiculous size. |
I don't. Pretty much the only time I do any kinds of activites that have to do with GYM is everyday in school in PE lol. I am rather skinny, so no need to hurry anyways!
|
I never used public gym before, because it requires membership and all that kind of troublesome stuff. And I don't workout much, I think it's enough exercise for me walk back and forth from school about 50 minutes total every school days. <<; (and I no longer have any gym classes.)
|
Once I get my license I'm going to buy a gym membership. I like running and working out, but I usually just run around the block which is hard to do in the winter. Not to mention our treadmill is ancient, and if you go higher than speed 1 it'll make the most awful screeching noise you've ever heard. So I decided the solution to this problem would be a gym membership :D
|
I never work out
But I walk around the city a lot. probably atleast a mile or so a day I can't run because after about 5 minutes I pass out 0.o |
No, although I'd like to. The closest gym is about an hour away, so it's just not going to happen until I get a car that can make that trip all the time, plus gas money to make it back and forth. I try little work outs at home, but it's just so boring by myself, not to mention that I don't actually have any work out equipment.
|
I go to the gym! >.<
I used to not but...then I did, and now I don't go that often, especially with MRSA going around. D: That kind of scares me. So now I just do stretching, sit ups in my room and then some running if I get the chance...which is not very often. D: |
I'm part of my university's crew team, so I go to the gym every night for practice. The girl's team usually meets for an hour Monday-Thursday nights, then I just practice with the guys over the weekend. It keeps me in shape, and it's fun.
I don't actually go to the gym on my own, I just use the facilities that they set up for us. There are a couple of mats for the ab circuit, there's a staircase to run up and down, and there's storage for the couple of rowing machines we own. It's good enough for me. Besides, it's not like I can afford membership to the actual gym on campus. It's just not worth the ton of money they ask for. |
We have SO much exercise equipment from my older brother's random spending sprees that I don't even need to. In his room alone there's a bike, an elipticle, and a bowflex, and downstairs we have a normal treadmill.
I don't really like working out with equipment though, I prefer to do random routines with little handweights while watching tv. xDD |
Nope.
I prefer just staying in my neighborhood. Biking a few miles or running. Lifting my own weights and swimming laps in my own pool. Its easier, cheaper, and I don't have to stay on a contract like some Gym memberships. Besides I feel better in my own environment then in some smelly gym. |
yes I live in the gymm I love it there.. but I can only workl out if soeone stonger is with me so I have motivation.. umm.. yea I go to get stronger... and to bench 350 lbs.
:D |
|
I had a gym subscription and then I just stopped going.
I probably should try again, but I just hate going and I feel weird going. I prefer working out at home, or going to a club dancing. |
I wouldnt wanna go to the gym O.o Its gross... Its mostly old sweaty people working out, and then you go use the machines.Even though you whipe them down its sitll gross as hell >.>; Its ...gross old people sweat...like EWWW to the max! I would perfer to just jog, and then at least you see stuff insted of someones fat butt
|
I don't, though I used to work out every day/every other day. Then I got lazyand stopped. But now I have learned to love the way I am more, and that's fine for me.
|
i did a long time ago but then i pact it in because i moved away and i could'nt really be bothered to travel like 5-6 miles to a gym lol.
But the reason i started to go was because a lot of people in my school used to pik on me say i was fat so thats whyi started to go but i did lose a bit of wieght and then when i asked someone if they thought i was fat in my new school they said no so i thought whats the point in going lol mind you though i have been thinking about going back i mean why not lol |
no but omg i love the gym i love working out when i do it feels soooo good..i dont have to go to one though..we have equipment in our basement but i only run on the eliptical..but not regularly like once in a while i try to start a routine but i always stop :)
|
Nope, it's far too expensive.
|
Nope.
I have P.E. So I don't need a gym with the way they treat us. D: |
Pfft, no. I hate exercise. And anyway, I get enough by walking to and from university every day - it's about half an hour each way, so that's vastly more exercise than I got at home.
