I have very little trust in people.
They are unpredictable. You have no idea when they will turn on you. It also has to do like when I was a child. Total backfire of a friendship. Best of friends, Then worst of enemies. My trust pretty much died from then. :33 |

i don't trust people.
not only because i've been lied to, but because i prefer not getting close to people. i don't really see a reason to trust anyone because it usually ends badly. |

Gain my trust.. I trust Like one person right now in my life and I only trust him because he's given me reason too. and the sad thing is hes one of my newest friends.. I think it depends a lot on who they are and how much they decide they want to effect your life.... My friend cares for me more then anything.. and I him out trust is good... we never lie to one another or anything My lack of trust is because I was naive.. I gave the benefit of the doubt to everyone and didn't think people would hurt me as they have.... people are cruel.. Trust is a precious gift.. I think people often forget that |

For me, it's an action that makes me trust someone.
If they do something, that truly makes me believe they are a kind and good person, I will trust them. |

Well like all close friends in high school, you trust them. Sadly, sometime trusting someone too much could screw you over.
Once I had to do a huge chemistry paper for homework and I had no time to do it. (work, sports, cleaning, etc.) I asked my friend if she could do the homework for one day. *since I do it probably all of the time!* She says that she can handle it. Of course I feel good. The pressure is off of my shoulder and I'm sleeping fine. Then at 4am in the morning, she calls me telling me that she doesn't understand it. There's only two more hours until school started. She finally got a look at the paper this late. Of course I become furious. She's still my friend but the trust has not been the same. I guess you can't trust someone for an amount of time. It's just your concious or morals that can determine who you can or cannot trust. |
I really don't know, I've never actually thought of trust. I think for me, it's just a feeling inside me that knows whether or not I can trust this person. Like my twin, I can tell everything too, (even though he is a horrible gossip queen), but my sister I can't tell anything too. I don't know really.

Normally it takes me years. I don’t trust easy. If someone doesn’t give me a reason to trust them I normally, don’t trust them. The only person I fully trust is my husband. My so called friends never gave me a reason to fully trust them because at one point they’ve all back stabbed me.

i'm a very trusting person, so it takes a pretty drastic action for me not to trust someone. i guess since people are so trusting and honest towards me, i have no reason not to return the favor.

it depends for me i find it very hard to trust because i have been lied to so much...
but if its just trusting for me to be safe most people earn this from me i guess if its trusting all round as in with my life and full on friendship it takes ages in fact i doubt any of my friends truly have that even now..even after like 5 years if a person has betrayed me once they will never have my trust again i and they might think they do but deep down if i was hanging off a cliff and a total stranger and the betraying person were there i would shout for the stranger lol(tee hee i am so cruel) because i know they would do everything in their power to save me and hold no grudges only the means to save me!!! sorry guys...if your reading this lol love ya really xxxx i find it hard to trust because of a painful past i make myself sound so bad but dont worry i ain't really...i wont bite...honestly...well not hard enough to rip flesh...okay maybe flesh but not bone...but to be honest who can bite bone...maybe i should try sometime... okay i will go now before i make myself out to be insane well more insane than i actually am...which ain't really possible...aarrrghh shut up neon!!! good luck with your thread :lol: |

Well it kinda depends really I mean if you think a one of your friends is a little werid or something and you feel I dont really trust them you'd probably have to wait awhile to see if you can trust them.

Well for me...I don't really know..usually you can tell if someone is trustworthy or not..but sometimes you cant. I trust my friends that I have..soo..yea..^^

Maybe 2 years as well. Or, if they off this kind of feeling, like you destined to be close friends, you know? Like, i have an internet friend, and even though i've only known her for around 2 months, she's my best friend. ^^ <3 But my RL friends are close as well. [known them since i started going to school, so around 9 years. *__*]

for me, it takes quite awhile. They have to be really close friends, and have to be really kind for me to even think about them. X__X I remember when I had lend some gold on Gaia to one of my friends, and when I asked him for it (I was going to quit, but I changed my mind), he gave all of it back. ^w^ And for being so nice and trusting, I sent him 30k and gave him some other stuff. ;O I can't trust anyone on Gaia, it's just not the same anymore. u__u ANYWAYS, it takes a few months of honesty and friendship...
