What do you guys use the internet for?
And what do you think it was origanly made for?

Me, the internet is a way for me to connect with new poeple
and i think it was made ofr the goverment to work faster or somthing...

The internet was originally created so that scientists could exchange information easily.

Me, on the other hand? I use it for... Menewsha. And YouTube. xD

The internet was in fact made by the Government of the united states to convey data between the white house and the pentagon and other official buildings with ease.

Please note I said was. The government no longer uses the internet to store files... at least as far as we know.

I use it to look up random information, talk to people, play games, and lots of other things. I'll just sum it up to say I use it to entertain myself. xD

well yea.. it could be hacked or somthing.. I bet they have somthing differnt..

Or they have such a high fire wall and other protections thats its almosty inpossable to hack into.. (Or thats what i hope)

I believe the Internet was made to communicate, exchange information, and entertainment. Basically that's what it's all about.

The internet was created so armies could excahnge information incase of one army blowing up so they wouldn't lose all the data, wasn't it?

Hehe, that's exactly what I was about to say, almost the same words too.
I use the internet for Menewsha, YouTube, and World of Warcraft. And looking up random stuff.

I use the interwebs for looking up stuff, working on my website, chatting with my friends in IRC, and playing on Gaia and now Menewsha.

I use the internet for research for school projects, mostly. But I also play Gaia Online and Menewsha, as well as MMORPGs and strategy games. And I send e-mails.

I agree with everyone else about the reason it was created. For the government and scientists.

Well, I mainly I use the internet for homework, Myspace, Msn, (I used to use it for gaia) and now I mostly use it for Menewsha! >_<

So its pretty safe to say that in this genration that we depend alot on the internet ^ ^

My computer is practically my god.

I use it to entertain myself, watch the episodes of House that I constantly seem to be missing, talk to friends, go on Menewsha, get music, and once in a blue moon, do homework.

I use my internet to communicate and for talking to my friends or looking things up for school, or shows and for many things like that. I use it to play games and go to sites like Menewsha, Zantarni, Gaia..although I don't go on gaia really anymore..>.>..I do sometimes to talk to friends or buy art, lol x3 -loves to buy pretty art- >.>
Umm..I go to YouTube to and Crunchyroll to watch anime and shows. :D
The internet is very useful in tons of ways. I'd pick my computer over T.V. hehe
My mom likes the T.V. and hates the computer. xD

I go on menewsha, I research things online for school reports and what not, and it's a great place to play games when you're bored.

I think the internet was originally made for everybody to help make life easier, like you said government, schooling, etc.

Porn,plain and simple. What else would we use it for XD I use it for Menewsha and my email, or any other means to keep myself awake at work. Sometimes I will actually get on Aim and talk to people when I'm feeling chatting without all the talking lol.
