O_O 11:11? Make a wish! >_<
Hey, well my brother once asked me, at what time is is that all the numbers are the same on both sides? I never though of that before, and it was 11:11! (This was a lonnng time ago, I just recall it XD) Usually, I like making wishes for fun, for some reason, it gives me hope. No, if you throw a coin in a fountain your wish will come true, I don't believe in that kind of luck, because luck just happens randomly. But, if I could have a wish right now, I would wish for more wishes! lol, seriously though, my wish is to be able to pass all the finals that I am about to have these last two weeks of school. It's soo much work, the teachers expect alot from you, and it drives you nuts! So, now your turn!

I do believe in luck. Well more like I believe more in Karma. I think if I do good intentions, I will be rewarded. If I do something bad something bad will happen to me. So I just try and live my life to the best. - What kinds of wishes do you like to make? I make the kind that would make my family happier. Like "I wish my brother was let go, from jail." - Any problems you wish can disappear? A lot. Like my ex boy friend. I wish he would just leave me alone....Oh well... |
If I could wish for anything....
It'd be an ever restocking library, filling itself whenever I saw a book I liked or wanted, and returning all books placed on it's shelves to new condition. Or and Ipod with unlimited memory that filled itself with any song that my little heart desired. Preferably of the "old" nano style in a shade of metalic lavender/lilac. x' 3 Edit: If I had to make a problem disappear it'd have to be some global issue that would positively affect a lot of people if it was gone. War, hunger, illiteracy, homelessness, global warming. Something good for all people. If it were for a small scale problem...maybe continually clear my skin. Pimple free! x' D '; |
I've never really understood the 11:11 thing. I mean, I know you're supposed to make a wish, but... why? I don't get where that came from. xD I do like to throw coins into fountains though. :o
My current wish is that... Christmas would come sooner. <3 Also that I did okay on my SATs. |
I don't really believe in luck because I think it all depends on what you make of yourself and what your outlook is in life. but I almost always make a wish on 11:11 just for fun. : ) It's usually always the same wish. It actually turns into a prayer sometimes, lol. but it always starts with the same thing. : ) I don't necessarily believe it will come true, but it's fun to have that little hope. |

- Do you believe in luck? I do believe in it, but only as an optimism, and slightly as a karma-like thing. I think that if you are having a good day, you feel good, and you act good, good things will happen. Also, luck is an excellent excuse to be optimistic. Oooh, a shiny penny, how lucky! I make a wish at lots of random times. 11:11, 1:00, 3:33, 3:13 [<---fave number], 10:00 [<---that one is very common for me, ever since I was a kid every time the clock hits 1000, I wish. And I still do it. Every night, and every morning I can catch it.], when I see a shooting star, and other times. Just special times I feel like it's appropriate or if I need to lift my spirits. - Any problems you wish can disappear? Homework in general. I HATE IT. >.<; My wishes are always the same, because I never like to wish for anything else. 'I wish that everything will turn out okay.' Occasionally I'll mention homework, tests, or a certain problem plaguing me, but I always begin and end my wishes with that. @fevertofuture: I wish on 11:11 because it's the only time there can be 4 of the same number on a clock. -nod- :3 And yes, Christmas should hurry up! Viki- Awhhh. That's really sweet. mewmew- I thought about that, too. 11:11 has all the same number. It consists of only ones. 10:10 and 12:12 and 9:09 all have two numbers. 1 and 0, 1 and 2, and 9 and 0. if that makes sense. >.> 11:11 is the only time where there is only one repeated number. |

I believe in many things you do there is some luick that goes into it, but really you make your own luick also, murphys laws comes into play with luick. Everything you do well come back to you but 2 times of what you put out (so if you did good things without expecting anything back it comes back to you 2 better.. but if you do bad then it comes back at you 10 times wores then what u put out) - What kinds of wishes do you like to make? The normle, wishing to draw better, wishing for keeping my grades up, wishing for finding moneys, and wishing for other people happyness really. i Like seeing people happy ^ ^ - Any problems you wish can disappear? for awhile there i did.. Like when my parents where having a cusady battle that laster over a year (very stresfull time of my life) Or during the 2nd year of high school (whict again anouther very stressful year) but no a days i wish to simply take my days one step at a time and handle it. I totally do that everynight when i see it. i dont look for it but it happens alot that when i look its 11:11.

I don't really belive in luck, just cosmic coincedence and karma. Which is acctualy kind of funny, since I come from a family with some of the most superstitious people ever.
I wish for a lot of things. Some things are big, like relief to one of the world's great problems, and some of them are small, like wishing for the guy I like to like me. Psh, like that's ever going to happen. I wish anyways, though. And I always make a wish at 11:11! AM and PM. I'm a big numbers freak, so whenever the clocks at school strike 11:11, 10:10, 12:12, etc, I always shout it to the class. Of course, they think I'm a freak, but oh well. I made their day special by pointing out magical times for them. xD The problems I wish could dissappear would most likely be the general things, such as the world's major issues, or for a problem within my group of friends to be resolved or something. I'm not very creative, I know. |

A little, maybe not. I think things happen for a reason. But I kind of have this "luck instinct" wherein I still quite believe in it even if I don't want to. Confusing? Yeah. - What kinds of wishes do you like to make? I like wishing for a lot of things. Usually about love, but sometimes for the good of myself or others. It's fun to make wishes. Sometimes they're as simple as, I hope I win on this certain game, and sometimes as complicated as wishing there was a miracle. But I usually pray for it rather than wish. - Any problems you wish can disappear? My everyday life is a mess. I wish I could have gone back in time and fixed it. Probably the issue with this one guy as well. |
