Digital Camera or Disposable!
Some people love digital cameras and some people like disposable.
Which camera do you perfer and why? I like digital cameras because you can see the picture you're taking and there easier to store and cost less in the long run. |
Disposable or the actual film cameras are a pain.
Film was really expensive and you need to buy lot if you love taking pictures like me. Digital is much easier because you can store your pictures and edit them. You can preview them and don't necessarily have to develop them. And they cost less in the end. I mean, If you first get it, It seems like a lot. But thats all you have to spend. A camera and a memory card. Its so simple. 8D |
I know right, I am totally digging your opinion because it's the same as mine. haha
|
WHOOT!
XD Great minds think alike! We must have brilliant minds then. XD |
I would have to say digital. You can see what pictures you take and it is less of a hassle than running up to the store to get the film and what not.
|
Digital.
Its way easier, and you can take loads of pictures htne delete the bad ones. And if you want them prited you can do it yourself... In the end, it will also become cheaper then a disposable one... |
I love love love digital cameras!! Its so much more convenient and the pictures look so much nicer. Plus the camera itself usually looks all supertechnologycute!
|
Digital ones. I don't like others looking at my pictures. XD I'd rather have my own private digital camera.

I prefer digital because of the reasons everyone's listed. But it's good to have a normal, regular camera that takes film if you like to develope your own photos. I was into photography for a while, and it was an amazing feeling watching your pictures come to life. ;] You can't do that with digital cameras. [at least I don't think you can] |
Definitely digital. Cheaper, more convenient, etc.
Sometimes, though, it's fun to get a disposable and just muss around. My friend and I did a project for Drama in grade nine by running around and taking a bunch of pictures with a disposable purchased at the dollar store near our school. xD There are times when I miss sorting through pictures and putting them into albums the old-fashioned way... but then I think about how much time went into that and I forget about it. P: |
Digital. I like reusable things. It is also much more convenient and can hold more pictures. I don't take pictures very often, but when I do I take them in large amounts. I think my record is about 300 pictures in 30 min.
|
Digital. It's great to see the photos you've just taken and you don't have to worry about getting film developed.
|
I like digital cameras better. When all that really existed were those disposable ones, I would never remember to get them developed, and then I'd lose it anyway. :(
Lol, I still find cameras around from like 10 years ago. |
I like digital cameras. If I am taking a picture of myself, I don't want to have to keep the first one that I take. I want to be able to delete the ones that I don't want and keep the good ones. Also, I like to see them to see how they come out and if that's something that I should be taking a picture of.
Though there is one thing that I like about disposable cameras. I like how you can get prints from them. Professional prints on the paper. You can't at home with a digital unless you buy the semi-expensive photo paper. |
Well, if the choice is only between a DISPOSABLE 35mm and *any* digital camera, the digital will win hands down. Given the choice between a cheap digital and a thousand-dollar 35mm, the choice would be rather obvious too.
I personally shoot with both, and like both, although of late I have been leaning more towards my digitals. Especially my DSLR, it performs very well in low light. |
I love digitial camera's WAY better! They take better pictures, you can do so much more with it and it has a movie clip to. :3
|
I like digital ones better, for the most part. You can see the picture you've taken and delete any pictures you don't want. They also hold more than most disposable cameras I've seen. Most of them only have about 25 pictures on them, while I can take hundreds with my digital camera. The only reason I like disposable cameras is that if they are stolen/broken/lost, it doesn't make a huge dent in your wallet to get another. I'm afraid to take my digital camera to a lot of places that I know I might have to leave it (like amusement parks where you have to leave your stuff to get on the ride) because they're expensive. They're not easy to replace when you're poor, while with a disposable, all you have to do is run into the closest store and buy another for five bucks.
|
Digital ones, for the win. They may seem to cost a lot when you first buy them, but they actually do save you a lot when compared to buying disposables. There's also much convenience regarding you organize your pictures with a digital camera. Plus, it's like choosing shaving over waxing if you choose the disposable. |
Good ol' non-digital non-disposable cameras. They're so much more fun to develop, and you can just scan them into the computer if you want to edit them anyways. I love messing around with the shutter speed and aperture and all the fun lenses. I just think it's more fun than those newfangled cameras the kids these days use o.<

DIGITAL!!!
I have a digital camera and I think it's probably one of the most handy things I've ever purchased! I love it. Disposables are kind of annoying because you have to develop it and all those boring..annoying things. |
I like both! C: <3
digital cameras are obviously great, because you can see the picture and its all high-tech and everything, and it's just plain better quality and form and stuff. But but I like disposable cameras because: 1) they're fun to travel with. All you do is wind up the little wheel, and click! picture done, no need for perfection, all you need is the memory. 2) I like to hang on to things that are slowly disappearing.(like my CD player. <3 ) 3) The way the picture comes out looks really cool. :0 kinda old, with some character and imperfections makes it cool to look at. :] |
Do I have to choose between those?
I, myself, prefer the non-digital, non-disposable cameras with the manual zoom. Y'know, those really old ones? My school has a dark room, and it's so much fun to develop pictures from those. Because you know they'll be better than a disposable camera's, but you still don't know if the shot came out good, bad, or better than expected. I like that element of surprise when I'm shooting photos. xD |
I'm an amateur photographer (currently studying photography as a major in college) so you can imagine the kind of camera's I prefer. I /mostly/ use a DSLR Pentax K110D, though I have a canon film SLR tucked away for special occasions. I was given it by my grandparents a long time ago, as it used to be my grandmothers, so it means a great deal to me.
SLR camera's are a great deal to maintain and keep in good shape, though it's so worth it <3 |
Digital cameras are a million times better than disposable.
With digital cameras you can have more pictures and if you don't want the picture you took you can just delete it. Plus, the quality is better. =] |
