Canadian Political Survey (needed for school)

I need Canadians to take this political survey for my Social class, please and thanks!
Please please pleaaasee do this! I'll fail if at least 3 people don't answer! It'll only take a minute, I shwear!

1. Why do you think voters aged 18-20 vote less than older citizens?

2. What party would you/do you vote for? (NDP, Liberal, Bloc Quebecois, Conservative)

3. Do you know enough about the parties to choose which you prefer?

4. Do you think the government would be better with independents instead of parties?

5. Would you prefer a majority or a minority government?

Thank you! If you do not understand some terms, don't be afraid to ask! <3

Lmao! I lol'd thar. Hey Sunday.

Majinkoz 12-07-2007 04:42 AM

1. I have no idea, I'm 19 and I vote all the time.

2. I think I'm liberal....but I also have a few conservative views so I would put myself as in the middle. D:

3. I sure do! I am so politically informed....it's crazy.

4. No.

5. It depends on which on I'm in. >.<

; 3; Hey yew. I'm sorry I'm not Canadian so I can't help. T 3T

Thank you, Majinkoz.
And it's okay, Sunday.

I can try to help you! >.< I'm Canadian! XD

1. I think it's because a lot of them don't really know for who to vote. They think they are all bad and that they all worth each others.

2. It's hard. I don't really like any of them, I suppose I would vote Liberal or Bloc Quebecois.

3. No, but it's because I don't really like politic and I don't inform myself.

4. No.

5. Depends if your party win the election! xD
But when it's a monority government, they have to be more careful on their decisions.

xSanguinex 12-07-2007 04:57 AM

Thank you, Lotus!
May I ask for your age?

Translucent Lotus 12-07-2007 04:58 AM

Sure! =)
I'm 18 going on my 19!

Fabby 12-07-2007 06:32 AM

Just a notice:

If you guys take the survey, please either place the questions in quotes, or only post the number of the question you are answering. Since you did not write those questions yourself, it is unfair for you to gain gold from them.

I've edited those posts already made, but I will lock this thread up if you guys continue to post without quotes.

Thanks!

^^ More than glad to~

1. I think that there's a lot of apathy. A lot of people that age probably haven't clicked in with the fact that it really matters and will effect their lives more than they know. P: Also, it's possible that they aren't as informed as older citizens.
2. My views tend to be fairly NDP, but I hate the NDP candidate that we had in my city. xD In the student vote thing we had, I voted Liberal because of that. P: I don't think he should be a mayor.
3. Yeah, I think so. I try to keep up-to-date and such.
4. Nope.
5. I guess it depends on the party, aha.

I'm sixteen, by the way.

[b]1.
Err. Probably because some of the younger generation could care less about who runs what. A lot of the other people have seen too much and tend to judge carefully?

2.
o.o
Hmmm. Probably Conservative, but sometimes Liberal if they have a nice platform. :]

3.
Not really. I`m not legal to vote. :P

4.
No. I believe it`s always better to work in a group because individuals would have to take a lot of workload and hire more staff.

5.
Majority. It would show more or less that Canada is more confident in thier decisions.

I'm Canadian :3

1. A lot of younger people don't care as much about political issues, or they feel a lot of political issues don't necessarily apply to them.
2. NDP.
3. Yes.
4. No.
5. Both have their ups and downs -- majority government is stronger, but in a minority government there are more parties coming together on one particular decision.
