I actually can walk in them, and normally.
Not that I really enjoy wearing them, I think most high-heels are ugly.
But they're are a select few that don't look abnormal to me.
That model's shoes were horrid looking. I'd never wear them.
Wedges look nice if your going to dinner or the theater.
But definitely not for me to take to the mall. o 3o;

NOOOO. NEEVARRR. I am never going to even LOOK at high heels. [ By the way I loled @ youtube video ]

Well, that should tell you how much I despise them, and how much I fall in them >>'
And, what I really hate about getting new shoes is that I can never find anything thats NOT in a high heel.
So I guess Im not one to give advice on how to wear them without falling or something, heck, that MODEL fell in them, TWICE! I dont think thats really possible at this point.

Well, I thought those anchors were complete jerks, I would love to see them get on that runway and walk in those shoes. That girls career is probably ruined by those two little falls, and that isn't funny. It is hard to walk in heels, I have a pair that literally make my feet go numb, and when it's icy I'm not even gonna try it.

Angel wears heels and always has done.

When models fll in them Angel sympathizes with them. Angel isn't convinced it's because they can't walk in heels, but more because they're tired and unsteady. Angel herself has fallen in heels on a catwalk before and not because Angel can't walk in heels but because Angel had been there for hours, had nothing to at and only power drinks to drink so she was shaking from the energy drinks and close to colapsing from anemia from not eating, and the heels were two sizes too small. So Angel fell down the steps they had on te catwalk.

heh I can't walk in heels either. Id love to try and walk in them but my school ground is hilly and not very good for a beginner to walk in high heels. Practice makes perfect!

@Shaney: O_O Oh wow! That sounds painful. *falls*

Hahaha, I prefer wedges because they're kind of heavy. ^^; Less chances of me tipping over. 8D Mine are kind of dressy...thank goodness else I might wear them everywhere instead of just at formal junctions.

I do treat shopping trips as hiking trip. xD

@mystic kiwi: Same here, I never really have a reason to wear anything but sneakers...save for any parties or banquets.

*laughs* Can't help but wonder if she even remembers that incident to learn not to be drunk and in heels. 8D

@V!rtual Insanity: Lucky...I can't even look semi-normal in heels. ^^; I'll walk in tiny steps or move rigidly...

@Anoni: O_O Stilettos...same reason. For some reason, I just think of getting my eye poked out. WHY I think of that...beyond me. Sharp things = my eyes = paranoia thoughts. >_<;

D: Oh no! That's unfortunate to think they have to move in shoes like that that might not even fit in the first place...

@Caroline: o_o I need to find boots like that. I'm kind of short...and I can't seem to find comfortable boots...

@Trinitydoll: Agreed. I'm more into comfort than looks. ^^ They really strain your legs and...*is a wuss*

@woopdidoodoo: Lucky! As a short person, shoes that add height would be so ideal.

Aw, one of my friends is really tall, and she has the same problem. She was shopping for flats and was sad that the ones she really liked didn't have her size. They stopped two sizes below.

@Nightgaunt: Oo, I'd like to read that study.

Ah, one foot in front of the other. I think I'll try that...My mom has heels that are like an inch and a half tall that I'd like to try for whenever I decide to dress up. (once in a blue moon 8D)

Oh dear god, that video was hilarious.
Anyway... ohh, I hate heels.
I either wear Converse or my precious combat boots all the time. No heels for me.
I do own a pair of boots with heels, but the heel is a bit thicker so I'm able to WALK.

I can't do those tiny, tiny little stiletto heels and I don't know how anyone does. XD I wobble all over the place. Like that model there.
Can't really blame her. Those heels are dangerous!

Oh that poor girl. Can you imagine how mortifying that must be? She's lucky she didn't break her ankle.

I can't walk in high heels to save my life. In fact, walking in high heels just puts my life in danger. I've tried, but I just feel and look ridiculous in them! One time I tried wearing high heels to school. The problem was I was so unsteady in them that it would take me forever to get from class to class, I was walking so slow. At the end of the school day, my last class and the point where I get picked up from school were on complete opposites sides of the school! So, my choices were to walk in the heels and take 10 minutes to reach my location xP
Or take of the shoes and run for it and hope I don't burn my feet on the black top. I ended up taking off my shoes...and ended up getting multiple burns on the bottom of my feet. But it was worth it xD

I would never be able to walk in high heels. *3* If I
feel like someone is watching me walk, I'll trip, even
if I'm wearing flats. xD Plus I wouldn't look good in
them anyway. And that video was super hilarious, but I
feel really bad for the model. :']

Well, I had to wear "character shoes"-- essentially dance heels-- all through high school for my choir. So, I got pretty good at walking, standing, and running in them. Especially running, when we were cutting it close on time for a performance somewhere.

I haaaaaaate high heels. They hurt your feet, and I see no point in them. I find plenty of attractive and dressy shoes that are flat, so I wear those. I have worn heels a few times and it is so hard to walk and it is not worth having hurting feet and legs. I have a pair of boots with heels that I wear once in a while since those are at least large heels which are a bit easier to walk in than those ridiculous little skinny heels. But they still hurt my legs so I don't wear them often, in fact, I just got new boots that are flat and I love them so I doubt I'll be wearing the other ones much anymore. Why wear heels when you can wear something that's flat and comfortable?

  • I can't walk in stilettos to save my life. I do for super nice parties, going to the opera, or the symphony, and that's it.

However, I can walk in heels that have a flat bottom. that aren't stilettos. If that makes sense at all.

    Yes:

    Sometimes:

    No. Just no.

I don't wear high heels in general, kinda because I'm still in Middle school and wearing high heels too school would just be weird ( and painful). But if it's a special occasion, like a relative's wedding or a choir/band concert, I might wear high heels. Only if I don't do too much walking around. >_<

I'm too clumsy to wear high heels to much, anyway. i trip in my flats enough as it is.

  • High heels. Like them? Wear them? When did you start if you do? i personally don't really like them. i assure you, you aren't the only person who can't walk in them XD my friend was like... 6 when she got her first pair of high heels. 6. i was like "um... why are you wearing those?" and she wore make up too. not normal make up, nooo, bright RED lipstick and blush that was like major dark, then masscara and eyeliner (which i doubt anybody helped her put on), and dark blue eye shadow. i had to go to the bathroom and laugh my ass off.

    Are they attractive or pains?
it depends what they look like and how high they actually are, as well as who's wearing them. i mean, it makes NO sense for a tom-boyish girl to wear high heels. i wouldn't really look good in them... but my friend has GORGEOUS silver ones that i LOVE D: but there's no way i'd be able to wear them without falling every couple of minutes.

    [ oops, i g2g, so i can't answer the other questions o___o hope i amused you~ ]

I Love High heels... But I'm not good at walking with them Dx. But I'm getting better and better.
I'm addicted to have boots with some heel on it. Dunno but that just look hawt and fancy to my legs <.<;; Don't ask me why! ._.

And.. When I'm about to fall I stupidly get balance and don't fall but I end up with a stupid pose xD. At least I don't fall and break anything >-<

OMFREAKINGGOD! xDDDDD LOVED THE VIDEO! <.<;; I can't stop laughing at it!

Any shoe I wear has to have like, a solid base. None of that 'pencil heel' stuff. Otherwise, I'd fall within one step.

Or course, even in solid based platform shoes, I've managed to fall over.

I hate high heels. They make my feet painful. v.v;

I prefer sneakers or slippers, much more comfy.

My friend can't live without high heels. =P

I can walk in heels just fine, but I never wear them. I was really into them for a while when I was younger, but then I started paying attention to how they made my body feel, and I stopped.

My feet are the first and obvious thing that hurts, but also my leg muscles, my knees, my hips, and my lower back all get messed up. I remember I wore a pair of heels for trick-or-treating one year, and the next morning, I could hardly move my legs, they were so messed up. It was really bad.

So yeah, because of the effect that heels have on me, I never wear them anymore. I don't allow any heel at all on my shoes, which makes getting new shoes rather a difficult task. It's just not worth it. Sure, I could wear them all the time, and I'd get used to it, but considering how much harm they do my body, and the fact that I don't feel comfortable running in them, well, I just say no.

I live in heels, as sad as that sounds. I work in a nice timeshare and heels are part of the uniform. I started off in flats and have now worked myself up to 6 in. heels. I worn the hell out of my 3 inch heels and at the time didn't have time to go out and buy another pair so I just grabbed my 6 inch heels and went to work. Wrong idea.

After the first 4 hours my feet were killing me as well as my legs. To top all of it off my boss instated a new rule that day about sitting. On Fridays there will be no sitting at the front desk 8am- 8pm. Lucky me I was a mid and was stuck in the middle. So I had to stand in those heels all day... I was so sore the next my hamstrings were aching.

Though as much I complain about my 6 inches I have taller heels that are spiked. G o figure. When I'm not at work its fine but when I'm at work its hell. Though I am now use to it and find it comfy to wear heel over flats.

So I think I'm pretty good in heels now, rather than a few months ago.

XD
When I first saw that video and the girl fall,
I thought she broke her ankle.
But seeing her stand right up and then fall again,
I couldn't help but laugh.

I can't walk in heels.
I can if they are well distributed,
Like overall,
But high heels would make me fall over.
XD

I prefer regular flip flops.
Those are flat and easy to walk in.

-High heels. Like them?

I LOOOVE high heals! :) And I'm really good at walking in them.

Wear them?

I sure do.

When did you start if you do?

I wear them all the time. :)

-Are they attractive or pains?

Both...haha! They are attractive, and at the same time a PAIN IN YOUR ASS D:

-Funny falls - just hope you/they didn't get hurt!

I've never really fallen, I've kind of slipped, but I've always caught myself.

-How funny those news anchors are in response to watching the video. xD

Funny....XD

I can't walk in high heels. Before I wore small heels, then I switched to these really cute ballet shoes.. So going from flats to high heels would be difficult. I want to try it out though.

I hope to get my first pair before the year ends XD
