I've thought about asking this and I finally have xD
What gender are you?
What gender do you think you should be? (Based on personality)
What gender would you rather be? Why?
------------------------------------
For me.
I'm Male, though I sometimes feel like I was born the wrong gender >.< since I act more feminine. I don't fit a single male stereotype either. It's funny, yet I'm still judged by them.
I'd rather be a girl because that way people would understand me a little better. Or at least maybe they would actually try understanding me

What gender are you? Female
What gender do you think you should be? (Based on personality) I'm almost more of a guy, personality wise. I'm not overly girly, and I could care less about clothing, make up, or how I appear to others(to an extent- I have to at least be clean, and my hair/teeth brushed). I also detest sitcoms that girls normally like. I'm not also flirty, like most girls are(unfortunately), and half of the stuff in seventeen magazine is either stuff I don't care about, or something I'd never do. I think that I'm more or less a tomboy girl, but I hate sports. >_<. I also don't think that I should have to go out of my way to make guys notice me, like these other girls do. I believe that if they were worth my time, they'd notice me. Or wouldn't judge how much they like me based on what I wear, or how much I flirt.
What gender would you rather be? Why?
I'm comfortable with my gender, but I wish other girls would learn how to break the stereotypical mold that they were raised to be in. :(. I'd have a lot more friends if they did.

Sorry for being a wise crack over her but let me correct you somewhat.
What you probably mean is:
What sex are you? ---since it's biological. It can't be changed -unless you have physical operations whatever-
What's your gender? Then the second question you're asking is more of gender. Which is something more subjective, socially constructed and such.
These two terms are often mixed up and interchanged but in reality that's how they're really ought to be used. ^^ Some people just end up using the word 'gender' to connote physical sex since sex is such a taboo words these days. ^^
But let me move on to my answers. O:
___
I'm physically female but I'd like to think I'm politically androgynous. ^^
There are days I seem more masculine than feminine and some times not. Though in my opinion since what is perceived to be "boys only" and "girls only" are simply social constructs -stuff our societies and histories have created or are by products of- I don't see why I should keep myself to such a category.
:3 That way I can liberate myself.
I am more than just a female with all the qualities and such. And I can transcend. >w<;
Or at least try. XD

I'm male, I feel like I should be male and I'd rather be male.
For some reason a lot of people I've come across in life seem to think that because I'm queer I should be more feminine or that I'm a woman trapped in a mans body, but I'm not.
I just like being male and I like other males o_o
I don't think I'd enjoy being female. I guess the only thing I'd like about being female would be having a chance with yummy straight guys, but if doing that meant loosing my male parts... No thank you

I'm male. I've been mistaken as a female too many times to count only because of my hair. Seriously, if I would be seriously ugly if I was a girl. I do not look like one.
But personality wise? Meh, I have my girlish moments, but I don't think I act *too* girly.
If I had the option of being a girl, I don't think I'd take it x3
I like being a guy. No reason really, I just do.

Imma female : P
I have....BOOBIES!
Well, my persionality is either one of those girls who keep to themselves and are dark and mysterious and could say a ghothic lolita, or a really girly, hyper, social sweet lolita xD
I rather be the gender where no one cares what gender you are. That made no sence, aye? [ Especially on science terms ]
Oh did you know, if you are a girl, you were once a boy, when you were in the fetus! So a boy was also once a girl!
THE MOAR YOU KNOW!
I think you should totally add that to first post, maybe people would go "WTF" most likely. *nodnod*

- I'd rather be a boy. I'm pangender and it's easier (and more fun!) being a boy by nature and dressing up as a girl than being a girl trying to dress up as a boy. Unless you have that boyish bodyshape, which I find really hot. o.o

What gender are you?
Female.
What gender do you think you should be? (Based on personality)
I grew up between alot
of boys, because in the neighbourhood I grew up there were
alot of boys, and my brother played alot with them and
I just played along. So I was a bit of a tomboyish kid,
so I guess I'm a bit of both. Better say: I'm not a girly-girl. Not wearing pink, not the latest fashion...
I wear makeup though, and last week I finaly had a diferent
haircut than long straight hair XD *giggle*
What gender would you rather be? Why?
I have to admit that I surprise myself everytime
that I wish I was born as a boy. Especialy during the
hard hi-I-am-a-friggin-female months... >____<;;;
And sometimes also because sometimes males see us as
lust objects.
But then again I'm glad I am female, since female have
more rights than in the past.

I am happy to say that I am female,
I think that my personality is suited
to being a female but then saying that I've
never been a male have I?... well not to my
knowledge anyways. So I think I would like to
remain being a female but I wouldn't say no
to being a male for a day just to see what its
like

I’m female and think that I act more like a guy than a girl. I’ve had people think I was a guy before, but that was mostly online. I like being a girl because I like the way the female body looks better than the male body so I would never want to be a guy.

Your my kind of friend! I am much the same way, and my friends are like most girls. Guys see me as more the chubby friend they can laugh with, and i talk easier with guys than girls most of the time because my friends talk about boys, make-up, clothes, shoes and what happened at that party on Saturday. But me? i talk about books, music, stunts and the crazy stuff people are doing. I am a female but look a bit boyish and if it weren't for a rather large chest (which i would gladly give away) i am a small hobbit-figure character with small and non-hairy feet. I'll dress up once in while but only to please my family, i dress for comfort not to attract guys, who have only ever flirted with me for a joke or a bet with their friends. My personality could be both, i am generally quiet and unnoticed, if i watch TV i like most stuff except the "Girl sitcoms" like Friends, Desperate Housewives, and Hollyoaks  these shows are so influential on young minds but so bad in role modelling what girls should do in later life  .
Wherever you go Javert i hope you find friends who appricate you for yourself and don't try to change you.
You sound like a good person to me :D

I am definitely a girly.
Personality wise… I still think I’m girly, however I’m not much of a prissy girl. I don’t like shopping, I’m not “in style”, and I’m not obsessive over my appearance.
I guess I would still categorize meself as a “tom boy”. I enjoy being out doors and camping (I was a girl scout for twelve years). I also love to build things. As far back as I can remember I was always helping my dad in the garage building desks and shelves and whatevernot. Most of the time I don't mind getting dirty or playing with "creepy-crawly things".
Probably my most “girly” qualities would be that I love cute shoes and sometimes I like getting dressed up really pretty and go out on the town.
If I were given the option to try being a guy I’d probably go for it, just for something new. xD But I wouldn’t make any effort in any way to purposely change over. If that makes any sense.

I'm a female, biologically. Based on personality? I'm sorry, I can't answer. I hate stereotyping.
I'd love to stay as I am. I'm female and I'm proud of it.

For myself, I'm female. I'm pretty cool with being a girl, but I have had the moments of yearning. In the end it comes down to the fact that my personality is my personality. Whether I'm male or female has had no effect on it.

I'm female. Sometimes I think I should have been born male. Then at other times I am glad I was born female. So, if I had to choose what I would be if given a chance I would have to say... stay the same. My family and I are comfortable with me being a masculine/ feminine woman. I think this is one of the reasons why so many of my friends and students feel so comfortable around me. I can joke around and be 'one of the guys' with the males in my life; then turn around and be able to relate to the females in my life. I guess that means that I would make a great single parent. I can be a positive male role model for my child at the same time having a caring and nurturing female role. Never mind that last sentence; I'm confusing myself.

I'm happy being a girl, so thats all that matters
