I loved Gem and She-ra!

I had most of the dolls from there. I also liked Rainbow bright and The Thunder Cats too. <3

Trinitydoll 12-17-2007 04:14 AM

Thunder Cats and The Silver Hawks!!!!! yarrr loved them!!!

Berginyon 12-17-2007 05:25 AM

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles were all the rage when i was younger, and by extension, so were their toys. My friends and I also had a natural thing for G.I. Joes, Batman and other super hero toys, Terminator and T-1000, etc. We'd have whole armies of toys and we'd have mock wars with them in my friend's basement ^^

mewmew07 12-17-2007 07:19 AM

I used to have a lot of barbie dolls, until I gave a good portion of mine away. I also really love care bears. I have like tons of them.

I also really liked trolls. I think I may still have some under my bed, I'm not sure if I gave them away or not.

I also have tons of the old polly pockets, the small ones that you played with the differnt settings. I love them. The new ones now are horrible. It's jsut like dolls. Nothing like the old ones.

Javert 12-17-2007 08:19 AM

I remember that, as I kid, I loved these toys:
-Strawberry Shortcake(I liked the fact that they smalled, but I don't remember owning one)
-Care Bears
-Puppy in my Pocket
-Littlest Pet Shop(They've killed these to the point where I don't want to admit I used to own TONS of these)
-My Little Pony
-Quints(I think I had the animal ones. I never cared for dolls as a kid)
-While I never played the game, I used to love pogs. I loved the pictures on them
-Lion King toys. I had tons of these. ^^;
-Beanie Babies
-Giga Pets
I also used to like to play with Legos, but I never owned them.

Caroline 12-17-2007 08:20 AM

  • I had about sixty billion My Little Pony dolls lolz
    Same with Barbies, most of whom I turned into Sailor Scouts.
    Beeeeeaannieee Babies <333
    Littlest Pet Shop was my favourite board game. Guess Who was good too. :D
    OH who remembers Pound Puppies? Those were so popular at school.
    I had a few Tamagotchis and Digipets over the years too.

Contrary to popular opinion I really loved furbies... Even though many say that they're evil. xD

Although one time my furby started talking late at night in this odd, out of body voice. I think it may have been malfunctioning or something though. xD
I just remember getting scared and throwing it in the laundry room.

I still love furbies though, I had like 5 or 6.

I also had barbies galore and some action figures.
I remember having a huge batman action figure when I was little lol.

And someone mentioned Sailormoon, YAY! I watched that on toonami every day after school. My username originates from that show too. ^_^

girl_4327 12-17-2007 03:14 PM

Barbie Dolls are my favorite.

I had a lot of them.
They're not with me now.
I used to experiment on them.
I cut their hair.
Drew on their skin.
Cut of their limbs.
Poke their eyes.
Twisted their heads.
Drowned them.
A lot more.
I miss those dolls.
I couldn't find any of them right now.
Well, what do you expect? Lol.

I knew it; when I saw your username, I giggled. :3 I'm still that obsessed yes, and if you click that link I gave on the first page, you can go to "Staff" and find me. XD

As for Furbies though, I had one... I liked it too until it did the same thing to me. Instead of the laundry room, though, I tossed it underneath my bathroom counter. XD; Then, when we moved, I tossed it out. >o<

TrueLight 12-17-2007 06:48 PM

How about Pac Man and Ms. Pac Man.

LennaHime 12-17-2007 11:56 PM

As a little kid, I was a Barbie maniac. Thats all I ever wanted for Xmas and Birthday. Hee hee. I had lots of them...and somehow now they're all naked and headless, buried somewhere. :O

And when Sailormoon was on Toonami, OMG YAY. I know exactly how you feel Queen Nehalania...tee hee. I think the only not-destroyed barbies I have are my Sailormoon dolls...XD

Satomi 12-18-2007 12:03 AM

how do u collect barbie dolls when they are constantly making them even today? and like... the ones today are drastically different. But I haven't lived in the 80s, and can hardly remember the 90s. But weeble wobbles are funny, cus they actually do fall sometimes...

Staff Sergeant 12-18-2007 12:18 AM

Stretch freakin' Armstrong! :x

Old Jersey 12-18-2007 03:25 AM

Two words:
Betty. Spaghetti.

Some more 80/90 stuff:
Beanie Babies
Tamagachi! Remember when everyone had seven of them all on one chain?
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
The Magic School Bus
Reading Rainbow!
Lisa Frank school supplies

Renchan 12-18-2007 08:28 PM

I loved Polly Pocket. The really small ones, of about 1 cm.

Lolly 12-18-2007 09:09 PM

I was a Barbie/Pokemanz kind of kid.
8]<333
I had A FREAKING LOT of Barbies.
And a whole lot of Kelly Dolls.
I only had a few ken dolls because they weren't as plentiful and the ones that were, were ugly and cheap looking. >___________.;
I used have ceremonies for Barbie and Ken being wed and little kelly would be the flower girl and tommy would be the ring bearer, stacy would be the bride's maid, the days of simplicity ;o;.
Only the pretty dolls got to get married though.
:lol: <3
At the end of my barbie phase I was really into the clothes so I have tubs full of mini shoes, gowns, shirts,pants,scarves,jewelry, and underwear.
x3;

After that I started watching Pokeman and collected the cards.
I organized them in this huge binder and would always jip my brother for the better cards because all he cared about were the looks of the cards.
>___<;
I went to some pokeman battle things at the book store .
lolnerd.
D:
And still have my pikachu plushie.

Oooooooohhhhhhhh yeesssssssss.

Can I just express how much I enjoyed playing with toys when I was younger? Like, I was nuts over toys and would always want the latest thing that came out. Luckily enough I was spoiled rotten so whatever toy I desired I would get. I was really in love with any kind of action figure. I didn't care what show, cartoon, movie, or whatever else there was that they were based off of. Though, I will say that my action figures of choice were definitely X-Men. I used to watch that cartoon religiously growing up. Also, I had these twelve inch tall action toys of the original Power Rangers that I loved as well. I played with those guys regularly.

As far as like 80s and 90s toys that I enjoyed I will have to say the Sock Em Boppers? I think that was what they were called. The giant like, inflatable gloves that you punched people with? Haha, I loved those. I also liked Slinkies but we didn't have stairs so there wasn't much I could do with them. I also loved the Furby things. I had three or four of them haha. My grandmother still has them in the same place that I left them when I was little. They annoyed me after a while, so I kept them in a room at her house less than a month after getting them. Haha, and I have yet to touch them again.

Wow, the toy list of mine could really go on. I just loved toys of all sorts growing up. Including jump ropes and Hula Hoops. Oh, and what was that one thing that you put around your ankled and jumped? The skipping thing? Haha, loved that too. LMAO. I also went through a huge Pokemon phase. I had EVERY card that was out back in the day. That is, before they added all of the shiny ones and the 123901238 new Pokemon types into it. I still have those cards laying around somewhere in the garage. In a box of course in a cool little card book for the Pokemon challenge masters I won at a convention. LMAO.

Funny story, well, actually, it's really not funny at all but whatever. We had my god brother over and he's going on three years old and he was bored. He has a lot of toys that we've purchased just for him but he has grown tired of them. So, I went through my garage looking for where we stored all of my old toys. I found this HUGE plastic bin filled with different toys of mine. And the sad thing is that it wasn't even the half of them. The thing that is even more sad is that before bringing them to him I actually started playing with them myself. HAHA. I just had like a moment of just reminiscing on the good ol' days.

Omg pikachu plushies! I used to love my old one! I think I still have my squirtle plushie somewhere in my house...

Takuto 12-18-2007 10:40 PM

Pokemon plushies are probably by far the one that I loved the most.
I miss the 90s. The new toys today seem to be too complex! (fur real pony, tickle me Elmo, Swimming Barbie, etc.)

Lolly 12-18-2007 10:50 PM

I had a swimming barbie that if you winded it up it would do a breast/back stroke.
I played with it in the bath tub.
XD;
Now its growing species on it's body outside in the garage.
;D

I went to target the other day and they had a fur real pony that was like, real pony size. o 3o;
You could sit on it and it chewed a carrot, made sounds, and swished it's tail.
I was like "I wish I could have had that when I was little."
XD;
Seriously I would have never got off of it.

Did anybody play with the little miniature plastic food stuff in those little mini toddler kitches?
xDD?
I just remembered those.
I wonder where all my food is.
O:

Now they have ones that make sounds and they light up.
My cabinets didn't even open all the way up.

I remember pog and giga pets. I loved those dumb electronic pets and tomogatchis. I also collected pog. I don't remember playing the game though.

I like strawberry shortcake, though more of the old school strawberry shortcake. Sadly, I gave my old school one. So sad.

I love beanie babies. I collect them and probably have over 50 of them. So cute.

Jedi Master 12-19-2007 01:18 AM

Whats sad is that I always wanted a couple of the spice girls dolls....I thought they were really cool!
Other than that I wanted moon shoes, those wierd trampoline things that you strapped to your feet :lol:

Oh my god. XD I just remembered that Barbie. I did the EXACT same thing with it, and it started growing nasty black stuff on it's scalp. D: But then my friend and I realized we only had 3 Ken dolls between us so we stuffed it's stomach and it became a fat Ken. Eventually we realized it looked like an overweight gay guy and I think it's around the house somewhere.

That pony sounds freaking awesome. D: My ponies were all small. When you sat on them, they'd get squished.

And I had those cabinets, too! :o Except my mom saved all the food. xD It's in these big plastic storage bins, and the stove / cabinets is in the garage.

I don't like the new cabinets. They scare me. Your stove isn't supposed to talk to you!

I saw those ponies, you know... They're insanely expensive!

Oh, oh, do you guys remember the original My Size Barbie? I wanted one sooo badly, but I never got one... I remember a good friend at the time did and I was so, so jealous.
