Christmas is just an excuse for the disrespectful children to stay good for about a month or two.
I love giving handmade gifts, my aunt keeps them. I'm glad she does too. (: |
Christmas is the time for sharing and loving.
This is what I hear everytime someone asks of what Christmas is, and it is true. Christmas is sharing and loving. It is a time for families to connect and strengthen bonds A lot of families hold reunions during Christmas. Others' only wish is to be with their family on Christmas Day. To give and to show love. Well, about presents. If you ask me, I'd really appreciate handmade gifts. It really shows that you care. It is kinda much better than just items that you pick in stores. BUT items that you just pick in stores are also gifts. It doesn't really necessarily mean that the person who gave it to you cares less. Anyway, gifts are not even necessary. As long as you are together with your family, that's enough Christmas present for other people. So, Christmas IS sharing and loving. |
your right about the fact that a gift from the store can mean just as much as a handmade gift Girl_4327 but I also like handmade gifts because its so much cheaper and the more I spend on my very limited budget the more unhappy I get :? I think thats true for a lot of people though, spending an arm and a led at christmas and then having to work extra hard to pay it off puts a lot of people out of the happy, family, joy, and peace feeling that christmas is based on and just thinking about it always makes me sad :( I know my dad always worked REALLY hard to make sure my brother and I had the best chistmas possible when we were young and even though there was never a lot of money my dad always went WAY out of his was to make sure christmas was perfect for use, so in a way chistmas to me is always me remembering those great holidays as a kid and using this time to really stop and remember how great my dad always was :D to me thats the best part of christmas!
P.S. sorry for rambling on :? I really had no idea were I was going with that I was just typing whatever came to mind... I really need to get some sleep! |
I don’t even want to celebrate Christmas, any more because it is a religious holiday and I’m not religious. I really don’t see a point in celebrating a holiday you don’t believe in. I do like the idea of getting together as a family, even though my family is one of those that you can only put up with a few times a year.
