I woke up this morning and my room was bright, the sun was filtering in through my bamboo blinds, and my bed was nice and warm. Today is a good day. (: It seems more like spring here rather than Christmas day, but for a native Californian like me, this is perfect weather. :3

What's the weather like for you on Christmas day? Do you like it? Is Christmas really Christmas without snow? Etc. :3

I'm a native of California, but I live in Colorado now.
It's been snowing like crazy here, all day long.

  • I live in San Diego, and I know exactly what you mean. It doesn't feel, or look like Christmas. It feels like a normal day in April or something.

Lol, I didn't realize that it snowed in places up to February, and sometimes in March! Because I live in San Diego where it's pretty much nice weather all of the time, I figured that winter was over as soon as the holidays were over, heh.

I'm going ice skating tomorrow, at one of the rinks that they only have during winter.

Oh, and I have never had a snowy christmas.

I've never had a snowy Christmas either, but I would love to experience one, at least once in my life. :3 But it'll never snow in California. xD (or at least where I live there) I have a feeling that I would be complaining a lot about the cold if it did start snowing suddenly though, lol. :B

We've had snow here as late as June and July before.

There's a light dusting of snow on the ground here, but that's about it. :]

I haven't been outside though, so I don't know how cold it is. xD

I'm from Canada, so for me, a Christmas without snow is just... wrong. But then, we live in Chicago now, and the climate isn't a whole lot different. In fact, this afternoon we were just ice skating on the pond out back :P

Oh, that's right. ^^; I missed your post up there. It's always blazing hot where I live in June and July, so I was quite shocked when I read that. O:

When I woke up this morning, all I thought about was taking a shower because I was going to my cousin's house for a party.. [i'm back now xD]
But um.. it was really bright.. there's never any snow here though, so it doesn't really matter. Outside was freezing.... o__o And my mom was saying stuff about winter, yadayadayada.. >>

I wish it snowed here... >:

I enjoy winter, but a certain kind of winter. I don't so much enjoy wet, icky, slushy winters, or violent, dangerous icy winters. But when everything is covered in snow, and you get a few days of blue skies, I find that to be exceptionally pretty ^^

I live in California too.
Actually, i hated waking up to the sunny weather. >=[
I hate summer and sunny days. lol I sound emo or something. XDD
Anyways, i love foggy, rainy, cloudy days. ^_^
It makes me want to bundle up in front of the TV with my hot chocolate and watch a romantic comedy. ^_^!
So comfy.

I like foggy rainy cloudy days too, but I do like to be warm, so on those days I wear a sweater AND a jacket. XD There's something wrong with me.

I don't need an excuse to do that... except my movie will probably be something silly, like Monty Python and the Holy Grail, or Hot Shots, or Airplane. Also I thought the movie M.A.S.H. was funnier than the television series :P

Christmas was wonderful here today~ absolutely awesome.
It was fourty degrees outside during the afternoon and early evening, and I think it's still in the upper thirties. That's really nice weather for here, because usually it's snowing (sometimes a blizzard), and well below zero. So I've been really enjoying it. =)

I never like it when it snows during the holidays, because even though I don't actually go anywhere, people come over here, and when the weather is bad then people won't come over. So it was a nice day, without the snow and all the coldness and ice. ^^

We have some leftover snow in back of our house4 where it's shady, but other than that everything is dry and grassy. However, I didn't really go outside today so it didn't matter much.
I haven't had a white Christmas in years, but there's something about snow that just completes the Christmas cheer.

  • I'v only had a white cristmass once and it was the worst cristmass of my life >.<

I was vissiting my (now ex) BF at his house in alaska and it was very depressing because we didn't have any family that we spent cristmass with . . . (both of our familys live in suthern california)

all we did was the typical jewish cristmass wich is to go to the movies and eat chinese food (the only things open on cristmass.

Unfortunatly my family had gone to libia without me or I would have stayed with them for the holidays . . .

Give white Christmas another chance ^^

Back in the day there was nothing like building big snow forts and having snowball skirmishes with the kids across the street. The worst of course was when my brother rolled up 'ice balls' and went for the side of the head... only stuffing snow down the back of my neck compared in the horror :P

I live in California as well. But I'm from the East Coast, so... I miss seeing snow fall outside of my window.

Just like you, it was a sunny, sunny day. And I thought, "Grr. I miss... snow." I haven't seen a snowman, snowfort, or anything of the sort since I moved to California a few years ago.

It was a bit soggy this morning and the little nip disapeared as soon as the sun came. It was a grey christmas, for the rain clouds didn't go somewhere else.
