Well, this thread should most likely be in the manga/anime sub forum but I won't raise hell. XD
First of all, if I woke up in my favorite anime/manga I'd freak out and probably be unconsious for the next couple of days. XD That place would have to be Fullmetal Alchemist because it's freakin amazing. XD I would kind of hope I'd be either a character who was around Edward and Alphonse a lot or had a lot to do with doing/teaching Alchemy. I don't think I'd fit any of the girl characters very well so hopefully I'd be my own person with a super special awesome alchemic technique. Of course I'd want to stay this way, this world is too boring. >w< If I could stay I'd win over Edward's effections, make him mine, be an awesome alchemist, help Ed and Al get their bodies back, and save Hughes from being murdered. I'd do all that because even though Hiromu Arakawa is a genius...I still love Hughes so he needs to live. XD

And then my guilty wish would be to be in Sailor Moon because I've watched that show ever since I was in elementary school and my favorite character has always been Sailor Mars. Thus why my nickname has been Reirei forever. XD

For your concerns as to whether or not this is okay - there is a subforum for anime/manga (in the books forum), so this will likely be moved...but other than that, I don't see anything wrong with this. :3

And your questions...let me first just say, this made me laugh a bit.

...okay, it made me laugh a lot. ^^; See...I have had in-character dreams...as the same character...for two years. I end up thinking I'm in this situation VERY frequently. XD

I know for a fact that if this were at all possible...I would end up in Fullmetal Alchemist. I would be Edward...and I probably would want to stay as him. Reasons being that in my life, I get bored way too easily; I would love something more exciting, even if it's often negative...and that I know how the series goes, so I could change a lot of the things that bothered me. XD

Spoilers ahead, look out!

What would I do? Um...first thing I would do differently would be that I would make damn sure Hughes believed me when I said I'd given up on the Philosopher's Stone. T_T Even when I'm NOT dreaming, I feel the guilt from that one; I probably would have neded up causing the same thing if I had been in that situation. ._.; Then I'd go along with everything that happened in the series...up until the last ten episodes or so. Then I'd change everything. EVERYTHING. I would tell Rose that I love her, for one...that's one big one that I regret in the dreams. And most importantly...I'd make up some story about how I know about my deceased half-brother and demand that my father tell me where his remains are; "That monster you made has been trying to kill me for years!" Save my ass, eliminate the need to come to this side of the Gate...all will be well.

...of course, it won't have the same entertainment value...but it would be a helluvalot less painful. XD;

It's a great manga, but as it's a class being thrown on an Island and being made to kill each other within the space of three days... And gosh some of the deaths are awful! I mean one of my favourites got blown up, the other had his fingers sliced off, an arrow through his eye... Id hate to be in it, but I'm a gore hound.
