We always leave our Christmas stuff up until after New Years. So we took down most of your stuff yesterday. The tree is still up, but it'll get taken down today. We don't have to worry about the tree dying because we always use an artificial tree.

I got rid of my Christmas tree just yesterday because that was when the garbage company comes around to pick it up. So I picked up the other stuff too.
The outside lights I put away the weekend after Christmas. :3
I sometimes see houses with Christmas lights all year long- it's funny how lazy they can be xD

I would love to have our tree up all year long. I like a nice Christmas tree when I am sitting on the couch, late at night, and the only light comes from the tree and the decorations you have at Christmas, plus the holidays cheer me up when I am feeling down because I know that it is family time for me. :)

I don't think it's a sign of laziness, really... I personally think it's stupid to put the energy into pulling the stuff down as soon as the holiday has passed. In Europe, the holiday doesn't even end until come Sunday.

My Chirstmas tree (which is fake by the way, so it's not goind to be dead xD) is still up, but there isn't too much lazyness. First, we never take down decorations so fast (we do it about mid of January). Second, now I just don't have time - school started a few days ago and tomorrow we started lessons about 'Illiada'; well, great, but I haven't read it yet ;O But next week my winter holdays starts, so we will probably take christmas tree down during this holidays.

And my street just isn't decorated at the moment. Well, it never is, the only decorations you may see are inside people's flats (when lights are on you can see them sometimes).

Umm, we're getting around to taking our stuff down. XD
It's about half up right now. We've taken down bits and pieces, but the majority of it is still up...

Meh. I don't like Christmas decorations in the first place. If I didn't put them up, I'm not going to waste time taking them down, either, and that's how it works.
Sort of like "I didn't make this mess, so I won't clean it up."

We don't have a real tree, so no worries of dead pine needles all over the floor. We haven't taken everything down yet though. I just got back from vacation last night, and my mom was waiting for me to help her take down the lights and garland and stuff that is hard for her to reach. We should be doing that tonight.

It really doesn't bother me if people leave their lights and other decorations up. I have to stare at plain old boring houses the whole year except for Halloween and Christmas. Let them leave it up as long as they want. It breaks up the monotony.

Usually we would have taken ours down yesterday but my mom wanted to rest that day so we took ours down on the 4th I think. I can't remember. A lot of the lights and stuff where I live seemed to be gone a day or two after Christmas.

Last year my mom forgot to take the lights off our house for a couple months, and yeah, it was just laziness. She threw out our christmas tree on New Year's day this year though.
