well, my black cat, Sitam had died a long time ago.. D; while the kitten i mentioned got lost not long time ago.. he was too small, he played outside and couldn't find the way back ;___; my neighbour is a bit.."complicated" thats why T__T |

it's makes us all even sadder because all of us dreamt of him...
i dreamt of him, starting from the next day he got lost. i dreamt for 8 days, straight, as if he was trying to tell where he was.. and my sister dreamt of him too ;___; about for 5 days.. and my mum dreamt of him, once..*a bad one, bad dream*.. then it just..stops... D; i hope he's doing fine out there .. |
I love ocelots because to me they look like a cross between wild cats and domestic cats. They're just pretty. I know people have kept them as pets, but they're supposed to be wild animals. If they were domesicated I would want one though!
I'm not sure what my least favourite animal is, but I would have to say while they do probably have a role in the foodchain somewhere I find pidgeons completely and utterly useless for anything over than eating chips off the ground and trying to get under my feet. |
My favorite animal is the Bat. They are so unique, and interesting, and honestly, the bats without the spaded muzzles look like little winged mammals... because, well, they are mammals, but they are so cute :3 I think they are one of the most under rated animals, and the irrational fears surrounding them make me upset. Bats are a hugely important part of any ecosystem and should be treated with a lot more respect than they actually get. I'd love to keep bats, but you need to have a zoologist license or something similar to do so because they are a very protected creature. I had a friend who kept bats, they were sweet little guys, but we lost touch.
The closest thing I have to a pet bat is the Bat hutch I built for my mom's summer house. Everyone should have a bat hutch, it's great, if only for the fact that it nearly decimates any insect pests within the direct vicinity. More people should take the time to understand bats, because they are really beautiful and useful creatures, there isn't a scary thing about them. I mean, vampire bats spread rabies and attack live stock, but they live in south america, so unless you live down there, you really don't have much to worry about. I'm also quite fond of Penguins, but bats really are my absolute favorite. Baby ostriches are ridiculously cute too >< |

My favorite animal is the cat. Always has bin always will be. You do not need to walk them you do not need to give them baths, in less your cat rolls around in mub like one of mine, last time we cleaned him he nearly took out my eye, always declaw your cats if they like getting messy.
Petting a cat is said to be therapeutic. They are also a hoot if you give them a little ball. I love my cats. ^-^ |
If jellyfish had cat ears, that would be the best animal ever! Can I count that as my favorite animal anyway? Heh heh heh. There is something about the jellyfish and the way they move and float around that makes me think they are really carefree and free spirited creatures. Plus who can't love a see-through creature that'll give you an electric charge zap if you bug it? It's got a natural, don't mess with my mojo sleep, defense!
After that I really like penguins. There is something about penguins. Who else can pull off waddling in a tuxedo in thirty below weather and still make it cute? My least favorite animal would have to be mmm.. I would have to say slugs. I think they look likea wriggling booger. Woops! I wrote in the wrong size! Sorry for anyone who got attacked by that! |

@ s w e e t: On the wikipedia article for ocelots it says that like other wild cats some people have kept them as pets. DalĂz had one.
I don't know if it's legal or not now though, I imagine they just come under the title of 'wild animal'. I know there's more specific licences for animals and laws on what you can keep and not in places like the US but I honestly couldn't say whether they would ever let someone keep one. |
