I really trully do.

So, what has caused me to hate it is that I'm trying get into one of my Gaia mules. I went through every email I used till I remembered the one Yahoo one I have not used in ages. The reason I can not get into it is because I changed my simple password to something harder, it's great.

Well, I can;t remember the pass to that email account either, simply because i have not logged in about a year. But, because my family uses Yahoo/ATT/SBC as it's internet previder, I have to call tech support to get the password.

Instead I tried every one i could think of, still no luck, and everytime i try and do a pass reset it says I have to call tech support.

Oh, and to make it more fun, tech support says I'm not suppose to call them for it, that the website should do it for me.

So now I'm on hold. No Musicka or ads, just an annoying voice that says please wait.

Fucking hate yahoo.

That's not as bad as what happened to my friend. She called the tech support for her computer because it was acting up. They told her that they needed her bank account info so that they could take $20 for the information. So they told her something she could do to fix it and she'd already tried it. So they said "well, we don't know what the problem is" and then they still took her $20! So at least they aren't taking your money.

Ugh I feel your pain, the same thing happened to me yesterday and I still couldn't get into my account. x_x

i used to use yahoo and i tried upgrading my mail to beta, and then it tells me, "yahoo beta does not support fire fox, please use a different browser."
this sucks yahoo want people to use the sbc browser or internet explorer, and internet explorer gives you cookies, the bad kind. >_>
so now i use Microsoft hotmail

I only like their mail service.(It's easy to use, and I've never had a problem sending or receiving a message on it. Then again, I use classic.) Other than that, I hate them. :(. Groups are full of spammers, and their instant messaging service is full of perverts, people who want online boyfriends/girlfriends, and people who don't care about anything other than roleplaying- something I refuse to do on instant messenger because there's no incentive to do so- plus, roleplays aren't permanent on there. :(. They also have shitty customer service- I once reported a pervert from the instant messenger, and they didn't ban the jerk- they just told me to ignore them. :( I was hoping they'd ban this ass, so that they couldn't do the same thing to someone else.
They also own Geocities- and as everyone knows, Geocities sucks. :(. It has no bandwidth, and barely any storage space. And it has ads! :(

I remembered my username and password, but since I hadn't entered the correct birthdate and can't remember WHAT I entered, I can't get in -.- oh yei, go me.

-shrugs- I've never had problems with yahoo... Mostly because I remember every password I've ever had... That, and I frequently use my accounts on yahoo (of which I have 2, not counting verizon yahoo).

I don't use yahoo e-mail or search engine but I think it's annoying because they try to trick unsuspecting people.

Like when I got Yahoo! Widgets they put this little tiny box on the install screen that I didn't see. It's automatically checked to set Yahoo as the computer's homepage.

And Opera comes with a stupid Yahoo search bar on the speed dial that I don't know how to get rid of.

And yahoo searches don't come up with results like Google. And the Y is annoying just because it's out of proportion and is Yahoo.

Im sorry! That would be infuryating! I have a yahoo email and it has worked fine so far. I hope it never changes for me! I hope you get off hold soon! Good luck dealing with this!

Aw. That must suck. I have a yahoo account, but it never had any problems. Maybe you should use AOL or GMAIL or something.

They totally deleted my yahoo account.
I called the technical person telling them that that they deleted it. They said it was not possible. I sent them my e-mail address. (amazingly, I called when they were not busy.) She said that my account was blocked. I asked her how, she said she did not know. I asked her nicely to unblock it. (this was my e-mail with many of my old information that I had to know again. It was kind of like a mule e-mail!) She unblocks it or something. I don't really know, I just got my e-mail back. Ugh. Yahoo is evil. That's why I use hotmail and gmail. Way easier and simpler. (AOL is evil too. lol.)

Yes, Takuto, AOL is very evil also. I completely agree. I use Gmail now.

I have yahoo email, as do my parents, and have never had any problems with it. Mind you I use it all the time and I've never changed my password since I was seven so that could be why.

Their search engine annoys me though. I don't know why, but it just does. I use Google. ;)

I prefer Ask.com's search engine. It's much more refined than Google, especiallu when you look for pictures.

I never really had problems with Yahoo, and I have my Yahoo e-mail address for at least six years already. But... I don't usually visit my mail anyway. I find it to cluttered.
I'm content with my cluttered e-mail. I don't use it anyway unless for registration. XP

That's why I keep of a list of passwords though lately I've been lazy and for e-mails for mules I've given them the same password so it's easier to remember. One thing that drives me insane about Yahoo is that they deactivate your account if you don't log enough.

Today my librarian was put on hold by some company she was calling and they gave her the typical elevator music, but whatever they were playing it on was skipping, so it sounded like someone was picking up every two seconds. She got very very frustrated.

Recently, my dad got put on hold by his insurance company, and the music he got was death metal He put it on speaker and we all went "wtf".
