I have talked to the inanimate before... and your only really crazy if they talk back ^_^ Usually i'm telling what ever it is to do something, like telling to kettle to hurry up and whistle.

My mom talks to the cat on her Mictrosoft programs... and meows at it...

I don't generally talk to inanimate objects, but I do name things that don't otherwise need names. My PC and my car just to name a couple.

I talk to myself and of course I talk to animals. Who doesn't? They are living too.

I think we all have a tendency to talk to inanimate objects, I have been known to tell things that keep falling to stay or oh you stupid whatever, stop it!

one time when i was at the mall, i was really tired and wasnt paying attention to much and then i ran into a maniquin and i turned around and apologised to it!! haha it was really funny!!

Like, one example being Maplestory, sometimes when I'm really tired, I start screaming at the monster to die ^^;;

Ummm...well oddly enough, I talk to the PS2 a lot and blame it if I lose or something like that. I also talk to my computer often ^^;;

well, i dont talk to random objects...but i do carry on conversations with my cats!!

I talk to everything all the time. I'm the definitaion of weird. Like just a second ago, mu computer was trying to restart, new updates and things like that, but wouldn't let him. "No! If you restart now I'll disown you." lol Really. Also, I enjoy talking to my toothbrush too. Like this morning we played hide n seek. It was really fun. XD

I do that everytime when I am playing a video game. (supposedly I get a lot of blackouts.) So I am screaming, "Don't restart on me now baby! I didn't save yet!" That happened to me when I was playing Kingdom Hearts. (almost killed Ansem.) Stupid blackouts.

haha, i never think before i speak, but i'm able to keep secrets and not blurt out things, which is surprising.
I don't think when it's regular conversation, i get my words all jumbled.
though, i don't say things to my toothbrushes :P

I usually talk to my lappy, especially when it starts making weird noises, that make me wonder if it is about to implode upon itself. Other than my lappy I have been known to yell at objects if I end up hurting myself, like stubbing my toe or walking into the door, and I will proceed to ask it why it did that to me. I never get an apology though.

I work in grooming... so we see alot of unique dogs...
I find myself talking to a deaf dog as if she can hear me and I don't just talk -- I shout as loud as possible in hopes she'll hear me. she, obviously, never does and goes about her thing as if nothing is wrong. :x

I do however have odd habits.
I made my friend apologize to a box...
He threw it on the shelf and I grabbed it, pet it, and started baby talking it, then shot hima nasty look and ordered him to apologize to which he aptly declined in amusement. So I continued and twisted his arm, in more ways than one... he eventually stooped down and said he was sorry and gave the box a hug. :)

I often talk to my shoes or socks... I call for them as if they'll come out. :D
And I beg my truck to start in the cold days of winter... he sometimes responds and starts. Sometime he gets mad and won't consider it. >_>;;

at work I named the grill Miss.Susan and Miss.Sally, I don't think I can remember talking to an object, but I'm pretty sure I have though.

that reminds me of what i used to do to my computer ;_;
well..i used to 'scold' it like i scold a 5 and a half year old kid.. since my computer used to hang often, so id say something like "u dare hang a lil longer, and ill make sure that ill never on u ever again"..well, something like that..and give a smack on its 'head' ..>.<;
