One thing that I have never understood about guys is why do they have to wear their pants so low that their boxers are hanging out? Like there is an invention called a belt. But I don't get it, like why would you want people looking at your underwear? I certainly don't want to.

Also, I've noticed that when girls wear low-rise pants, there thongs are usually visible. What is the point of showing off your underwear? Is there some hidden meaning that I'm missing here?

So what is your opinion on this. Oh and if you are one of these people, why do you do it?

Well, I don't wear thongs, and I have no desire to show people my crack, but I like skinny jeans best... and it's really hard to find skinny jeans that aren't low cut.

I just wear belts and long tops. ;D

The point I think is comfort. For some guys, it is comfortable to wear their pants that low, showing off their boxers. I don't have a problem with it, until its past their behind^-^ As long as only a little bit of their boxers are showing, I'm fine with it.

As for girls and their thongs showing, it's a confidence thing. You only wear those kinds of jeans that show off the thong if you are really confident about what type of thong it is and how confident you are that it looks good on you.

Don't ask me why, that's just my opinion about it^-^

I think they do it to show off their boxers or whatnot. I saw one guy on the bus once and i swear his trousers were fastened with a belt, around his knees.
I think it just looks tacky on girls, with their thongs showing.

Personally I have no idea why these people do such things. it's not cool or fashionable, its disgusting

I believe they think it is cool. But why would you want to walk around holding up your pants with your hands when there is a thing called belt. Just imagine if they got in trouble with the law and they had to run away and their pants fell down, they would be caught.(ha ha ha)

They actually made it illegal in a city near where I live. If you have exposed underpants, you can get sent to jail. Apparently the majority-white politicians thought that it was some sort of crime-related thing. I sincerely think that it's just stupid; the police aren't the fashion police. They should leave that to Joan Rivers.

That having been said, I think it's gross for guys to wear pants around their knees. I don't care how big your genitalia are or how expensive your underpants are. I don't want to see undies! (unless you are my boyfriend and we are someplace rather private. but that's another matter not to be discussed here.)

I think it looks ridiculous as well. But it's always good for a

Can't say I've really understand the concept either... I think it is worse when a guy does it in a gym class (such as in elementary school, where you don't have to change). I remember one time, we were doing shuttle runs (basically, 50 meter run to a point and back). And this one kid was tripping over his pants and probably nearly smashed his head into the asphalt.

As for seeing thongs... No one wants to see it. Personally, when I see a girl who is wearing a thong that one can see do to low cut pants... well, I don't really think very highly of her. I could understand if she didn't notice or something... but the combination should have told her something...

I'm with the rest of you, I think it looks plain stupid, I openly point and laugh at the guys whose jeans are completely below their butt, and they're walking with their hands in their pockets to held them up.

Actually, one of the girls in most of my classes had a similar problem today. One guy kept saying "MARISSA'S A PLUMBER!!!!!!!!" because her pants covered nothing.

Honestly, sometimes I don't notice that my shirt and pants don't meet until I sit down on the bus, and then it's too late.

But if someone dresses like that on purpose....ew.

I don't wear thongs. I'd shoot myself if I had to wear a thong, it'd look like I was trying to pull a jeep out of a mud hole. //Larry The Cable Guy moment, even though I don't mean the joke offensively at all.

But yeah, I'd never wear a thong. I wear regular underwear that cover everything.

I make sure to wear pants that -fit me-, not those low rise things that go half way across your ass and just expose EVERYTHING.

Besides, I don't want to see guys underwear either. If it's like the band of the underwear or the long johns, then I don't really mind. :\

I think that's gross. I don't like to see people's underwear. I don't wear thongs, so my underwear doesn't show. I do wear some low rise jeans, but i try and pull them up as far as I can. I don't like sitting down and it showing my butt or underwear. So not flattering.
