Haha, I can easily beat that! :P
I had lots of bad luck as a little kid. :o 1) Approximately five years old- I was just playing piggy back with my brother and when he set me down, I was all wild and full of energy still. I jumped up and down, and fell off of the side of the couch. I tried to catch myself, but my arm fell behind me on a heating vent and the bones ran together when they broke. Three bones in my wrist fractured. I didn't feel it much, I was more unconscious when I started screaming. I started school that year with a red cast :'( 2) Approximately seven years old- Oh I was having some more fun running around the Kitchen and Dining Room. I slipped on a piece of paper I had earlier been drawing on, and since I had been yelling, my tongue was stuck out at my brother. :D <- Like that. I fell down, and bit down on my tongue on accident, I guess. I) had to get that sewn together. 3) Approximately ten years old- More fun! I was jumping around on my bed with my brother because we were both very bored. I sat down all tired and when he tried to jump to sit down again, he jumped on my wrist. That hurt a lot, and when I saw it deformed I screamed and ran to my mother. She took me to the emergency room and I got it in a splint after a lot of painful-feeling tests where they moved my wrist to get X-Rays. 4) Approximately seven years old- Skipped ahead with the last one, but it doesn't matter. I was swimming in my friend's pool because we were all bored like usual. Since we had a trampoline nearby, we were flipping off of that and into the water. It was deep enough, mind you, so it's not as predicted. :P I did a belly flop, which hurt a lot, and when I tried to get out, I tripped and hit a few pieces of glass from a vase that I had knocked over. (Why was it outside?) |
Good lord woman. xD;;;
I've never had an accident that serious before. Except maybe one. Well, apparently I was like 2, and I was running around. Then I slipped, and hit my head on the corner of a table. I still have a scar. :'D |
Oh my goodness! That last one is just awful! ><
I've always been paranoid diving into pools, unless it was really really deep. This doesn't have to do with my childhood but... my grandfather was spinning in our pool a couple summers ago, he did the same thing and dived in our not so deep pool, hit his head on the bottom and came up with a golf ball bump on his forehead. x3 Funny, but awful >< |
I was once jumping side to side on a bed and there was scissors on one side of the bed, when I took a huge jump to that side, I landed my foot straight through the scissors. There was so much blood, but I wasn't tramatized for some reason. I went to the hospital afterwards, and I think I fainted from blood loss. I don't really remember it all that well.
|
I will never forget that day when my head was bleeding and well just listen, I was outside in my grandma's yard when my cousin and brother came out with this roller thing xD well anyways I don't know how, but my cousin or brother slipped and lost conrol of the kart and one of the sharp corners... hit my head and all of a sudden I touched it and blood was everywhere. I had never been so terrifed ever! I had to have my head sewed I wound up being okay, but I never went near that kart thing.
This was probably when I was 6 or 7 etheir one >.< |
I only had a couple of childhood accidents. When I was about 4, my older brother was pulling me in our wagon, and I decided to stand up for the ride. Big mistake. I fell out and loosened a couple of front teeth and bit through my lip. The other was when I was 7. I climbed a tree, jumped out instead of climbing down, fell, and broke my arm. I'm not the most graceful creature in the forest, and I have had my share of broken toes and sprains since then, but all of them have been in the last couple of years.

Ok, i can maybe beat you .
accident one: as a baby my dad was swinging me around and accidently let go of me. i cracked my head head open and still have the scar. Accident two: just a little older maybe 3 and i was petting a nice dog when it went beserk and bite me in the face. im fine though. accident three: i was at a neighbors when i was six and petting a colt when it just got weird and kicked me across the corral. accident four: racing my mother down a dirt road near house,and i was winning too but our driveway at the time was not exactly the smoothest of turns. in fact its a really sharp turn. but i ended up flying my bike up the imbankment and then falling on top of it. i had to be airlifted to the hospital because i had punctured my side with the handle bar. barely missed my spleen or something. i had to get like 50 stitches . to add insult to injury, few days later i accidently swallowed some hygrogen peroxide. yuck i say accitent five: i sliced my forhead open when i fell off a clidesdale horse because the ownere wanted the saddle for himself. my dad refused to take me to the hospital and get stitched. so i was butterflied up. accident six: got bite by a scared dog i was helping put away on the 4th of july. i still have the scar. accitdent seven: i was going to the library one day when i saw a garbage truck in front of me, i went to go on the sidewalk but there was a trashcan there. a truck behind me too. I tried to steer out of the way but hit the brakes. i flew over my handle bars and skinned my shins and forearms from ankel to knee and wrist to elbow. i also cracked one of my knees on the sidewalk. i have trouble with it now. well there are all the bad ones. ive probably done too much to actually list everything ive ever done. i got nicknamed accident prone and clutz by my mom because of that. its really entertaining in retrospect but at the times. *shrugs* it sucked. alot. |
1) My brother took his giant lego bin when we were like...4 or 5 and smashed my nose with it. It bled for like an hour. and it hurt so bad.
2) When I was in Middle School - my gym class was running relay races. It wasn't just my class - but two other P.E. classes with us. and so I was running back as fast as I could because I was last on my team and we were going to win but I'm a slow runner...so I was running so hard. and I go to run between the teams and go sit down to secure our win, but this idiot girl in the other team was leaning her arm all the way in the aisle. and so, being the nice person I am, I jumped over her as to avoid hurting her. And I landed awkward and fell on my face. At first reacion, my hand was to go to my mouth where it hurt as I lay on the floor crying. and some people heard me crash, turned around, ran to help me up. and I reach out my hand to get up and my entire arm is completely bloody. Like...blood dripping every where. It wouldn't stop. So I had to go to the nurse and my mom picked me up and took me to my orthodontist. He said that if I hadn't had my braces at the time I would have lost three of my front teeth. And they had to monitor my roots for a couple years afterwards to see if I had root damage because my teeth went into my lips. D: On TOP of that...I went home that day in pain. and that night my little brother decided it would be a grand idea to pull the "if your hand is bigger than your face you have cancer" and then smacked me in the face. and so I started bleeding all over again. It was when my parents were getting a divorce and my mom was at our new house getting things settled and my brothers and I were at out old house with my dad. and he yelled at ME for crying and then called my mother and said "come pick up your pain in the ass children - I can't handle them" D: It was a bad experience. 3) oh - and one more. I can't remember how old I was but it was late elementary school. I was on a dock on a canal. and a piece of the wood was sticking up and I backed right into it. and I had wood in my butt. My mom had to pull it out of me. |
I have a list too.
1) When I was young I had a puppy named Deeohge. (D-O-G) I was just learning to spell hence the name. So anyway, my dad worked night shifts at a trucking yard. I didn't want to stay home alone cause my mom was visiting my grandma so my dad took me to work with him, saying that I wouldn't have to go to school the next day. Well I went. And it was great! I loved it. Until my dad had to go make rounds. i went with him and so did my puppy. Well being the young ones that we were we ran. And in that running and running he ran in front of me. I didn't want to hurt him so I jumped. I landed belly first into the gravel and most of it went inside my skin. To this day I still have a scar on the inside of my elbow. It looks like a little piece of gravel is still stuck in there. 2) I was 12 and I went to my friends house. She had a big pit bull. He was "nice" So it was claimed. i don't remember much about it, but it ended with him biting my face and me bleeding everywhere. I still have problems with big dogs and I have even more scars. there's more, but meh... |
Wow harsh moments D: I feel that feeling you know that "ugg" moment no offense but its rough what you guys went through.
|
Lets see:
Toy chest left a scar on my back Falling into the rock gardan hitting my head A friend of mine was burn trash and it exploded leaveing a scar on my arm Scraped my knees so many times when I was little Rabbit Scratchs(I used to raise them when I was little) Kitty Scratchs Banged my head on a counter at a store. |
I once fell off of a cliff and skinned up my knees something awful. I was lucky that it wasn't a big cliff though.
Once I tripped over a kerosene heater and burned me naughty bits. That was pretty painful. I ran a hunting knife through my hand. Learned not to cut wax on a candle with a sharp knife that day. Cut a nerve, had to have surgery, and still have no feeling in that half of my finger. I once fell down an embankment into a creek. The embankment had been dumped at once upon a time and I had glass all over me from it. Nothing better then spending half the day having glass dug out of you. I once ran a nail through my foot. That was lovely. I once ran my hand through a window. It really was on accident... It left me with two huge scars on my hand. I thought my sis had beat me home and locked me out of the house. Turns out mom had simply left the TV on... And last but not least...When I was about 2 I totted up to my mom after playing in the yard with a huge ugly gash on my foot. I wasn't crying, it was just there. Mom still has no idea how I could have gotten it. That was the first time I ever needed stitches. |
When I was a kid,I'd say maybe 4 years old, I got my head stuck in the railing of the stairs coming from my dad's old work place. I was trying to get a closer look at some flowers, lol go figure, so I stuck my head through the bars. Obviously I lacked common sense being a wee babeh, and didn't notice that my ears were keeping me from slide out, so I stood there for a while until a lady noticed that there was a little asian kid stuck on the side. (I had short hair back then so I bet she though I was a boy, I don't know though lol). She called my dad out and helped hold my ears back so my head could come back out. Great kid-watching skills dad :D
No surgery or anything, but then again I'm not a very active person. |
The only major accident I had that I can remember was when I was a kid. I was on the playground, and after awhile, I grew tired of playing on the equipment, so I went off of the playground, and on the regular blacktop to play Skip-It. Playing Skip-It at a slow pace gradually began to bore me, so I started going faster, and faster, until my foot hit the edge of the sidewalk, and I fell on my knees and hands. :(. I only had to go to the nurse's office for a huge bandaid, and to have the cut cleaned out. I supposedly also managed to knock coffee on myself as a kid, but I don't remember it. Luckily. ^^;

When I was little my brother once pulled my arm out of it's socket >.<
I also once fell out of a shopping cart in COSTCO an hit the ground head first... >.< (it hurt btw) Also had my thumb crushed in a horse trailer door. The nail grows at an angel now and I have a HUGE scar going down my thumb (down the whole thing) |
Quote:
he must've pulled it so strongly o.o; it's always brothers who makes us get the scars/wound XDD |
Well, at the moment I only can remember four.
Accident 1: I fell down the stairs and bit half of my tounge off. They couldn't give me stitches because I was so young and would end up biting them off. My mother said that it healed quickly, though. Accident 2: My friend was pulling me in a wagon on a windy day. She let go of the handle and it hit my forehead. I had to get staples in my forehead. I was so terrified, but they didn't hurt much. Accident 3: My sister closed my hand in the door. When the door was opened, my hand looked squished, so my mom thought it was broken. I got x-rays on my hand and thankfully it wasn't broken. Accident 4: I was in my room and I walked towards my dresser. Next thing I knew, I had a toothpick was stuck in my foot(I'm not sure how it got there, though). It was at least a good inch in. I tried pulling it out myself, but it hurt too much. My step-father had to pull it out for me because I couldn't. |
@Nissa: A lot of your accidents are very gory! Very graphic images popped into my head while I was reading what happened to you. @Melon: I remember I got my head stuck somewhere as a toddler, it wasn't too hard to pull me out though. @Kaze: I wonder what 'game' your brother was playing with you when he did that! I know that my older cousins who were boys dislocated my arm once when I was around 2. |
I never had any radical 'Emergency room now!' accidents that were of dire concern. I've just been lucky enough not to hurt myself, despite being the reckless kid I was.
xD When I was two years old, I was chasing the family cats on a camping trip and one had stopped near the ledge of a slope to get away from me. Well, being a toddler, I'm guessing I didn't know the difference between 'no' and 'go', because Mom was shouting at me like mad and I went anyway. Fell right down the slope and just managed to miss the rocks. Had a lot of scrapes, but no serious damage. Great dinner story that keeps popping up. Heh. Then, when I was nine, I fell off yet another ledge. This time it was a complete accident and not just incompetence. A friend and I had found an old tree fort in the woods just behind the apartment complex I lived in. We were hell bent on making it our fort, so we gathered some unwanted wood, some tools, and set to rebuilding this tree fort out there on the ledge of a small drop. Well, I was walking, kicking dirt, talking, and my buddy was hammering the stairs up the tree to replace what wasn't there. He'd dropped the hammer a minute to get something else, then had turned to start. By this time, I had walked to the ledge to peek down, and I'd managed to slip. Fortunately, I caught a tree root that was sticking out and started yelling. Took us one argument about whether or not I had fallen and could/could not get the hammer later to actually get me back up on to solid ground. And that same year I jumped off of a near two story brick wall against one of the apartment buildings. Was it smart? Totally not. Landed on my feet and the pressure completely blew my mind. I was dizzy for hours. And again, that same year, my friend Danny and I got new bikes. There was this massive hill in the apartment complex, and we'd thought 'Mad speed, baby!'. We were planning a race, so it seemed the perfect starting point. A steep drop and around the circle parking lot - first one to the main road wins! We started down the road in quick style, hair flying, eyes squinting. Then, as we neared the first turn of the circle around the parking lot, my bike slid down. The handle-bars tapped the concrete, and the wheel lost balance, flipping the bike and sending me - and it - into one of the thorn bushes. No serious injuries, again, but a ton of scratches and an adrenaline rush that can't be matched. The last one I think is funny happened in middle school when I was fourteen. We were putting on a Christmas Play - the oh so famous 'Christmas Carol' in which I was the Ghost of Christmas Past. While waiting on my cue, the other actors behind the curtain and I had discovered something ... remarkable for middle school students. The person playing Scrooge's maid had a candle - a lit candle, with an actual fire. Instantly, we became infatuated with this thing. Like cave-men drawn to something bright and foreign, we were plucking hairs and roasting them while tossing our hand through it quickly for the sake of a game of courage. Someone got the bright idea to light some cloth on fire and dropped the cloth. We quickly stamped it out, but, before hand, it had hit the curtain. Fortunately, the curtain was fire-proof. Later that same night, we discovered a safe-box with a bell inside, and, during the middle of one of the scenes, we were trying to open it without setting the bell off. The chains attached to the safe got tangled with Marley, so we weren't sure what to do other than hand the thing to him. Still, we were playing with it. Then, all of the sudden, Marley dropped the safe and was turning around. You could hear his -clack, clack, clack- noise and a 'brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrriiiiiiiiiing' everywhere. Have the tape from that play, and it still makes me laugh. You can hear both our "OH SHITAKI FIRE" and the bell from the safe we got tangled in Marley's chains. |
Ohh when I was little I saw my dad shaving and I tried to do the same with a razor and I cut my lip open in three spots. x.x
|
XD really Gamers? o.o <333
I can't remember THAT far back, but I probably did hte same XD Once, we had those big wheels... >.> and my dad at his pick up truck, I was always told that, my brother and I put them inthe bed of hte truck, and I wheeled off the tailgate and landed on my head... my brother didn't go, but I was told I got up and did it again. >.>; |
@Luna;
Really. I don't remember, but my sister told me. She also told me I dumped a bucket of ice on her right before her first prom for no reason. Niceee. <3 |

I was pretty reckless as a kid.
Luckily I haven't been in any life threatening accidents. I have fell from trees a lot. I tend to get hurt a lot when playing sports too. Twisted my ankle playing volley-ball, sprained my wrist playing soccer, got a nice deep scratch on my leg play lacrosse, got a nasty black eye playing baseball lol. Hmm, I ran into a window once cutting up my arm. I am just born for destruction. |
Hmmnn.. I think the worst I had was when I blew paperrolled arrows through a pipe. I decided to take the pipe to school, and as I cycled pretty fast, it went through my spokes. My bike flipped over, and I fell on the street. I had a light concussion after that.
Also when playing soccer at school, I ran after someone, when he suddenly stopped and I faceplanted into him. I pressed my teeth right through my underlip, it healed. I still have a fat lip XD My lip get ever fatter after I was wobbeling in my chair at a table. I slipped my foot, my head heading back for the table, where my lip crashed in and started bleeding. Both were almost hospital moments. Im kinda clumsy xP |
