I've recently noticed some weird sleeping habits, such as sleepwalking, mumbling words, snoring, and singing. For the last couple of nights, me and my sister have been simultaneously waking each other up with snoring and mumbling. So,

What are some weird habits you have when you sleep?
What weird habits do some people you know have?
What sleeping habit most bothers you?
Can you sleep with someone else snoring, mumbling, etc.?
What are the weirdest habits you've heard of?

...and say anything related sleeping or habits if you please.

My husband has the loudest snore of anyone I have ever met, I had to stop trying to sleep with him because he kept me awake all night. My daughter used to talk in her sleep, it was kind of funny to hear, she doesn't do that anymore. I can never sleep through the night anymore, it sucks, I always wake up at least once and can't get back to sleep so, I'm always tired.

My dad has a loud snore as well. He snorts sometimes too, and it's disturbing.. >>; And I always hear my sister mumbling in the night now. For example, last night, I woke up to hear her say something about random things. But every time she mumbles, it sounds like she started talking from where she left off. I lack sleep, too. I really need to get more coffee. =o=

I usually sleep soundly with nothing abnormal happening. Though I have apperently shouted/talked in my sleep before. (At least I've been told that.) When my brother is upset he sleep walks and then starts talking nonsense. Which I think is hilarious.

The best one I've heard is from a friend of mine. He work up with his cell phone on his pillow near his mouth, and it was all wet! >.< He thinks he tried to eat it in his sleep.

@ Priestess of Athena;;
Weird. It wouldn't quite be a nice awakening if someone shouted while you were sleeping. xD Nonetheless would it be fair that they screamed and were still sleeping. o 3o

@ Pie-Chan;;
Lots of people snore. But I've never heard anyone swear in their sleep.. Nor do I want to hear them say foul words. Cx

My brother sleep walks, but not really?
Its like 1/3 of the time, he is awake...
Every time he does that, its really annoying of him.
It's like he's drunk but he isnt. Its just scary too.
I don't even know what this is called. ><

And no. I can't sleep when someone snores. My youngest brother does.

I hear snoring is like a symptom of asthma? I don't know if it is true or not.

Well I slip into sleepydom almost as soon as I'm horizontal, and then I'm in an almost comatose state until vigorously shaken or set on fire.

I used to punch and kick people in my sleep. When ever we went on a trip when I was younger, I'd either share a hotel bed with my brother or mom. I'd used to punch and/or kick them.
My dad speaks in Gibberish when he sleeps. It's very annoying when he falls asleep on the couch. My mom on the other hand snores in her sleep. That's also annoying when she falls asleep on the couch. My aunt used to walk in her sleep when she was younger. I can't sleep with someone snoring or talking in there sleep.

I absolutely cannot sleep without lighting a candle. Yes I snuff it out before I actually sleep but I can't sleep without lighting one before bed. I light a blue one every night so I don't have nightmares. It works very well if I do say so myself.
The girl I live with she can't sleep without music. Her laptop is on ALL night long. If you turn it off she'll wake up. Without the music she can't sleep. It's awful.
I don't like people who snore. It bothers the hell out of me. I've ended relationships because of it. I guess it's because I'm a light sleeper. Oddly enough though, I've gotten used to my roommates music habits. So no I can't sleep with mumbling or snoring people.
I don't know. I guess my habit is one of the oddest I've heard of. I don't really know.

I know some of my friends talk in their sleep, a lot of them snore, snoring bothers me a LOT, I can sleep with someone snoring, but it's REALLY hard.

I don't know if this is a sleeping habbit, but i have to hold something when I sleep like a stuffed animal, pillow, or blanket...

My dad is the loudest snorer ever. It's so loud it doesn't even sound like a snore, it sounds like a fog horn. 'BAHHHHHHH... GRRRAAAHHH' Horrible to sleep through. DX

Well, I drool when I sleep, but I don't snore. Haha, weirdest thing ever, my friend snores very softly, so once I slept over and it made a whistling noise instead. XD It was really cute, but I ended up waking her because it got annoying after a while.

What are some weird habits you have when you sleep?

I wriggle. A lot. Apparently.

I sometimes wake up and the duvet has turned all the way around, or the pillow's been kicked down to the foot of the bed. xD

What weird habits do some people you know have?

You can hold a conversation with my sister when she's asleep. :3

What sleeping habit most bothers you?

Heavy breathing or lip-smacking. Worse than snoring by far, because you almost feel like they could do something about heavy breathing. My sister's guilty of both of there. I hate having to share a room with her on holidays and so on.

Can you sleep with someone else snoring, mumbling, etc.?

No. I can barely sleep with anybody at all, because I can't stand the additional heat and bulk of another body. Or it'll take some getting used to. Dx

My poor, poor future partner (if) might think there's something seriously wrong, if I keep trundling away to the sofa to actually manage to sleep.

What are the weirdest habits you've heard of?

Sexsomnia, but that's not a habit, it's more of a disorder, like sleep-walking, but... you get the idea. Dx;

I heard from my Aunt that I mumbled a bit in my sleep and also moved my hands a bit. That really shocked me, because no one has ever told me that before.
I really hate it when people snore loudly though. Once I was out in an overnight school trip and my classmate that I slept with snored VERY loudly. It kept me up for a while but eventually I did fall asleep.

I don't snore or anything of the sorts, but my mother talks in her sleep. I'm in a room across from hers and sometimes I can hear herself talk as if she's talking to someone, literally, but she's just asleep. She snores too, but she doesn't snore as loud as my dad. My father was asleep downstairs one night, and my mother and I were upstairs watching Tv. A commerical came on and there's this little break and silence where nothing is going on. WELL, dad broke that silence from all the way downstairs with his massive snoring skills. It was entertaining. He doesn't believe us though that he snores XD

Apparently I talk in my sleep. Well, not all the time, but I do sometimes. I'm not even really sure what I say. The times when people have informed me of my habit, I had been talking mostly nonsense that didn't even relate to what I had been dreaming that night. Strangely, on both incidents, which weren't even close to each other, I was talking about carnival related things. o_0 ...I don't know.

Oh yeah, and I used to grind my teeth when I was little. I don't know if I still do it now.

And I can't stand snoring. I hate the type of snoring that isn't really obnoxious snoring but just really loud breathing. It drives me insane. However, I'm a pretty heavy sleeper, so if I can just fall asleep before the snoring person and not wake up in the middle of the night, I'm okay. xD

I snore. See I have Asthma so I have a hard time breathing when I sleep cause I sleep on my stomach. So I snore. I also thend to talk also, like my mom will come home from work at nights and see me on the couch and just start talking to me, not notcing that im passed out. In the morning she'll mention something she said last night and I just tell her that she's bonkers cause I didnt talk to her at all last night except when I went to bed. Besides that I tend to wake up in the middle of the night and flip my pillow to the cold side, I love cold pillows ^_^

My dad snores. Loudly! like..omg, he'll passout on the on couch and be totally quit. Then, out of nowhere, this loud rumbing noise is her and traced back to him. XD My sister also tends to sleep with her eyes half open. Which is creepy when you try to wake her cause it looks like she's up but she's not cause she's breathing deeply and her mouth is open wide.
XDD hehe..

When I'm asleep I have to be covered... everywhere (except my head). I have to be snuggled up to something (Pillow or a blanket). I hate my habit of drooling when I fall asleep at a table, couch, or desk. And I remember when I was in Girl Scouts and we stayed at The Wilderness in Wisconsin Dells, the girl I was sharing a bed with snored. I had no problems at all. ^^ And I think Sleep walking is the weirdest. I used to do that. O-o
