So yes, as of right now, I should be working on my short story essay for English 1B that was due... Friday. XD

SO I SHALL KEEP THIS SHORT AND SWEET! Hopefully. And then go to write it up.

But - do you do your homework on a last minute basis? Or do you do it ahead of time? Both my sister and me are pretty much last-minute people. ^^;

Also, what are your opinions on online classes? Do you think it's better to learn in person in a classroom, or to learn online?

The 1B class I'm taking is a online-hybrid, meaning we do meet on campus once a week, but we have plenty of things to do on the forum website - we have to write up a paragraph for about three stories about the theme/tone/symbolism within it, and then another paragraph in response to someone else. Plus he doesn't really announce homework due in class but online, which... I don't really have a habit of checking. ^^; So I was completely shocked when I found out I missed the due date!

Now go Freya go. T_T

I am a big time procrastinator..actually reading this post reminded me that I have some math homework that was also due Friday. Probably would have forgotten about it.

Unfortunately, the only time I do my homework ahead of time is when I think the due date's sooner than it actually is. >; I'm a bad procrastinator, but the few times I finish ahead of time, it gives me an adrenaline rush. XD;

i don't have any homework, i get assignments. i guess they are kind of different? :\

i don't mind doing them though. i have one math one a week and the rest is mostly studying 'cause the classes are too big for the prof to check everyone's assignments. >w>

I procrasitnate every day. If I'm NOT doing last-minute homework, then you should be surprised.
I've never taken an online class, so I don't know much about them, but I like actually going to class. It's interesting( sometimes =/).

Unfortunately, I think I am definitely the kind of person that waits until the last minute to do homework....it's a really bad habit, but it's never failed me. :)

I know eventually everything will probably catch up with me. But in reality I have been a ton better with homework since I entered college. ^^

With my nature being online all the time, I would much rather prefer taking online classes, but that is COMPLETELY not the way my real mind works.

Sure, online classes would be great for me, but what if the instructions or teaching lectures on the internet aren't sufficient enough and I STILL don't understand what on earth they're talking about?

While it's less inconvenient to take classes in a school instead of right from your home computer online, you do get one-on-one help with a teacher that can clarify things for you that you might need help with.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure online classes / courses don't offer any other extra help, right? They just expect you to get it and run with it? I might be wrong on that. If so, then there probably is no disadvantage to online courses except the lack of socializing.

I do a little bit of my homework every night, so that I can hand in my homework on time. I sometimes procrastinate, especially when I'm supposed to be doing math homework D:<

I think it's better to learn in a classroom, more hands-on-learning. Less chance of having your mind wander xP

I don't think I would do good in an online course...I procrastinate a lot and there is SO MUCH on the internet that distracts me so easily...like Mene <3. Thus the reason I spent 5 hours doing math homework today. >__< Gyaah.

I'm terrible about homework.
I usually either forget about it or procrastinate with some intention of doing it.

Then I end up not doing it.
XD -Is a terrible student-

Pretty much last minute, yes. I have a LOT of homework I need to be working on right now but I've been working on it for a while too...eh, I'm not that excited about it.

Online classes...haven't taken any so I can't give a personal opinion about it.

I usually try to do my homework ahead of time but I'm a really bad procrastinator so usually I can't get everything done early no matter how much I try. There's just some subjects or assignments that you really just hate and put off as long as possible just because it's such a pain in the butt.

As for online classes I'm not much for them. I tried to do an online class in high school and I found that I'm just not good at them at all. I'm a person that sort of learns from doing and being able to see things with an actual teacher there. Doing all the independent work required of online courses just doesn't agree with me.

I am very last minute with homework. I wish I weren't cause it would probably be easier to just get it over with and not have to stress about it anymore. I just can't force myself to do it until I know I have to.

I tend to do my homework at the last minute- which is NOT a good thing. :(. For the most part, I don't feel like completing it until the last minute. :(. I know I should do my homework early, so that I have time to proofread it. However, my mind doesn't work that way- I've noticed that if I don't feel like doing my homework, my mind only uses half of its capability. If I know I HAVE to complete it, or if I actually feel it, my brain decides to use its full capability, and my homework turns out better. It's strange, but it generally works. :). Well, for essays, anyway. As for online classes, I have yet to take one, so I don't know how they are. I've heard they're a lot harder than a regular class, though.

Homework consumes my free time.

The dervitive of function f divided by function g is equal to (function g times the derivative of funcion f) minus (function f multiplied by the derivative of function g), all divided by the square of funtion g.

I think learning in person is extremely important because you learn a lot more than just the material at hand, and i know that a lot of people won't hire you if you don't have predominantly in person experience in school.

And i'm kind of half and half between doing it ahead of time or whatever >.>

i am a last minute person, but not as much as my other friends!
when we had to do a project, they finished it in the morning,
at least i finished it the night before, then still had
enough time to take a shower and go to bed XD
