Last year I met these two twins. They were very friendly. Actually, I only knew one of them in the beginning. And to be honest, I can't tell the difference. Like if they stand beside each other, I can see one's face is slightly slimmer than the other. Though I never asked because I was embarrassed. Dx I thought, hey, only one of them was in my class and actually knows me, then every time she comes up to me I'll know who is who!

Apparently one day on a history trip, I was seperated from my friends. So one of them came up to me and was all "Hiiiii!" so I assumed right away it was the one I knew. But when the one that I actually knew started talking to her sister by calling her name, I was all crap! Because right after that incident both were familiar with me! So... I never knew who was who unless it is that one who is in my English class... >w>;

So, discuss? xD Hopefully I didn't confuse you guys.

I don't see anything confusing there.
I have confused twins before too, although they weren't even related! They just looked so alike, that I even asked them if they were related [ I have no shame in asking things like this. I mean, you are gonna wonder about it anyways, why not save yourself the trouble and just ask? ]

I saw these 'twins' who weren't related before. o.o
It was creepy, I thought they were related for a good year or two. XD

I used to go to school with Twins Lee and Steffan. One was in my class and the other was in the other class (That school only had two classes for each year). Only in year 5 I often went into the other class when my teacher was pissing me off (long story) So I knew both of them.

When you know them both it's so easy to tell the difference. One was more vibrant and out going than the other, he also had a tiny scar on his face that is virtually impossable to see unless you stare really closely. (They told me before we went up to highschol). But I could always tell them appart by their attitudes and personalities.

I knew a pair of twins that used to go to high school with me. At first I couldn’t tell them apart, but the more I talked to them, the more different they looked to me, even though they were identical. It was more the way they carried themselves that was different. One was a bit more talkative and upbeat than the other one.

My friend and I get asked if we’re twins all the time. I think it’s funny because neither one of us think we look alike at all. We work at the same store and when we work together customers confuse us all the time. We’re not even close to being related and didn’t even know each other until the summer time so we both get quite amused by it.

i know tons of twins. there are these two girls, but one of them has longer hair, and there are these two guys, but one of them is clearly uglier. xD

so yeah. i've never really had a problem with twins.

There are a set of twins at my college...

they dress in matching outfits, have short dreadlocks, are black, and male. They ALWAYS look happy! I just wanna follow them around and find out why they're always so happy! One's in my writing class, but I don't really know him.

I like twins though, it's fun to be seeing double. n.n

Infectiod (or something like that) is my twin on this site. XD We've been friends since FIRST grade, I call her Doom over the net. Out avatars look identical except for the hair color. Her's is pink. We didn't plan it or anything. n.n

LOL. Man. That's awesome.

I wish I knew some identical twins!!

Someday I want to have identical twin boys, though. That would be SO much fun. lol. (My future kids will be encouraged to wreak havoc in organized society. XD)

Of course, there's no history of twins in my family so unless I'm able to adopt (like I hope), then there's very little chance of that ever happening. ;-;

I love twins. I wish I had a twin. Musical twins are the best! Like Tegan and Sara, they are both just as hilarious as the other so they balance each other out really well xD

Now that they're 27 you can tell the difference but when they were a lot younger you couldn't... Unless you were just an ubernerd >:B

Two of my best friends are twins.
They look almost exactly the same.
But one is fatter.
And one has a lower voice that is more monotone.
But both are asian and dress similarly.
Both have black hair and need glasses.
But now one of them wears contacts.
XP
For the longest time,
I got them mixed up,
But the more time I spent with them it was easier to tell the two apart.

I also know two more sets of twinz.
But they are both boy and girl.
I think the term is fraternal?
They don't look exactly alike,
But they are similar.

One set is both red headed, lighter skin, and freckles.
The other is both tanned skin, dark eyes, and hair.

There are several sets of identical twins in my grade although I am not friends with any of them. Most of the identical twins in my school are easy to tell apart because one of them has slightly altered their appearance (like having a different hairstyle). There is only one pair of twins in my grade that look very identical. They are guys and have the same haircut, height, expressions, and pretty much the same weight. I can never tell them apart, but I know that their close friends can tell them apart.
I am always scared to approach those two because I really can't tell them apart so I would rather just stay silent and save myself from being embarrassment xD

It is also funny how some people look like they could be 'twins' from behind because they have the same hairstyle and body shape. I know that sometimes people tell me I look like one of my friends from the back. I also know a lot of teachers that think two students look very alike and get their names mixed up.

I so fail at recognizing twins. Well, it's mostly because I'm not actually close to any. I suppose I probably could recognize them if I were their good friend or something, but yeah. I mostly have twin acquaintances, so I only really know their names and see them in passing.

I haven't had to deal with telling any twins apart that looked exactly alike, just similar. Oh, except when I was really young...like in kindergarden. I had some friends who were twins and on April Fools day they went to the others classes. No one even noticed until they told them.

We have three sets of twins at the school where I work. Luckily two of the three are not identical. The two girls who are confuse the heck out of me, their names are Kylie (sp?) and Kayla, why do people do that? As if it isn't hard enough to tell them apart, now their names have to be that similar. Maybe by the time they are in 3rd or 4th grade I will be able to tell them apart.

My dad is a twin, they are called mirror twins, because they are oppisites, my dad is tall, my uncle is short, my dad is left handed, my uncle is right. So it is very easy to tell them apart, but their voices are identical. One time I was supposed to spend the weekend at my dads, and he was supposed to come pick me up, and I was downstairs when he got to my moms house, I could hear him talking to my mom and I ran up the stairs to greet him and saw it was my uncle, my dad ended up having to work a bit later then expected, that was years and years ago..they always call me 3 way to talk, I live 2400 miles away from them, and I can never figure out who is saying what to me on the phone, it drives me crazy.

I've known a couple of sets of twins before, primary and high school years, I always found it really easy to tell them apart, They weren't freakily identical though, but alot of people still couldn't tell. It's funny when teachers would get them mixed up, and they would get upset because they were really quite un-alike.
One pair, Rhiannon and Rhaine, were often in my classes, but I found heaops of differences once you got to know them..they usually had different hair colours too, which helped.
Cute though, I miss them. They dressed up as 'The Veronicas' for our year 12 dress up day, it was cool.

Two of my younger brothers are twins to each other, so I've never really had trouble telling most twin pairs apart. I have to find the differences in the faces of people, but I can tell my brothers apart mostly because one has a big birth mark on his cheek.

The only twins I know are my cousins, and they're fraternal twins (at least, I think that's what it's called. One boy, one girl.) so they're pretty damn easy to tell apart.

But there are these two boys at my school that are brothers (not twins to the best of my knowledge) and they look almost exactly alike. They're in the same grade, too, but I don't think they're twins...
Anyway. It took me forever to learn which one was which. Finally I figured out that one is going bald and has lighter hair. And he's more annoying.

There's about 4 sets of twins in my school. I can tell them all apart by their personality. Like these two guys in my Graphics class. They are both sporty but one is more outgoing then the other. Also it's easy to tell them apart because one has a slight speech impediment. After a while when you REALLY observe identical twins, you begin noticing they don't look the same at all. Like Tia and Tomera Mowry from Sister Sister and Twitches. At first I couldn't tell who was who on the show until I really started observing them. o:
Now in all the pictures of them I can tell who's who. :]

I don't know if you guys know Sir. Spoon on here, but him and I are identical twins. Most people cannot tell us apart, (which drives me insane). But there is subtle differences in our appearances, like my brother has braces, I have a birthmark on my chin. My brother is slim and I am more muscular. But no matter how hard we try people still get us mixed up.

I use to be apart of gymnastics when I was little, like back in 1st or 2nd grade, and we had these twin girls in our class. When you first met them, they do look exactly a like, but after a bit of time, you'd be able to know little differences in the way they looked, mostly their face structure.
I remember one day they didn't come into class because one of the sisters broke her leg. Since then, I never saw them again. That made me really sad because we had become such good friends.

My eldest boy goes to school with a pair of identical twins and one of my friends has a pair of identical twins as well...yep really hard to tell them apart. Their parents say the only way they can tell who is who is that they dress them in the same clothes but different colors or they just call a name out but sometimes that doesnt work cause if one is in trouble the other covers for them. I went to school with twins too...they used to take over a class that they dont want to do like for a test and the other is better at it...the students know what they did but the teacher doesnt...makes everyone laugh :D
