I used to love board games.. it was fun when me and my friends got together to play. <3 Not much of a fan for card games though.. there are so many that I forget the rules and how to play them once I put down the stack of cards for a few months or so. :lol:

Board games... the classic Scrabble. xD Even though it's just creating words, it's quite fun to find out what words the other players are going to make. ^^ I also liked Clue, which was a bit mysterious.. and fun. <33 And of course, Monopoly is one of the best. xD

in fact, i don't even have a ps2 to play ;P

I used to play board games, and card games. Unfortunately, I haven't had time to play them since eight grade. :(. I used to own and play Monopoly, and Parcheesi, and always enjoyed playing Candy Land, Sorry, Chutes and Ladders, Don't break the ice, and Ker-plunk at school. I was actually pretty good at Monopoly, too- I usually won second place, or won the game. If I remember correctly, I won the last game I played of Monopoly. I stopped playing Parcheesi two years before I stopped having time to play board games, though. I just got tired of losing all of the time. ^^;. As for card games, I was never really into them. I only know how to play Go Fish, and Solitaire. ^^; Aside from traditional card games, I DO know how to play the Pokemon TCG, though. And I was also pretty good at that. :)

I play boardgames and card games on my Nintendo DS 'cos no one wants to play them with me...

That and it sets up Mahjong Solitaire for me and i don't have to put out load of little chips.

I love to play board games, I loved " The game of life" I also liked scrabble and monopoly, my mom and I used to play yatzee and uno. When my kids were young there was a game called Bonkers it was such a fun game. It would drive you bonkers! Clue was on O K game so was trivial persuit , boy did it make me feel stupid, I don't think we ever completely finished a game.

I forgot about card games. I love to play solitaire. and now that it is on the computer I am addicted. There is a card game called nickels, that my Aunt from Florida taught us. You play a nickel a round and whoever goes out first wins that round, you start with 3's and work your way up to kings round and whoever has the lowest score wins. On Fridays my parents and my family had nickel night. We had a lot of fun.

I've always been terrible at card games, and it's only improved because I've played video games with cards...I don't do well with cards at all. They usually make me feel really stupid instead. T_T

However, I don't mind board games. :) I actually still sometimes play a board game, but it's not often. I'm not good at them either. I played them more when I was a kid, and I always lost. :( This was long before I played video games. I was never good at anything but puzzles, honestly.

Edit: I just read someone mention scrabble after I submitted this! I forgot that was a board game. >>; I LOVE scrabble. I used to play it at school on Fridays, on what we called "game day." I got so hooked on it in high school from those days, that I ended up talking my mom into buying it, and now it's sitting in the basement suffering neglect. T_T

I do not really play board games that often anymore. I find them annoying, especially Monopoly. If I'm at my uncle's house, I play Candy Land or Chutes and Ladders though XD Those are the only good board games at his house. I'm not big on watching TV, so I don't really watch it while I'm there and I need something to entertain me.
I looooooove card games. I love playing Go Fish with my youth group. We tackle each other and such, it's great fun. We play War and tons of other games as well. I only play three: Go Fish, War and... some game I can't remember XD ohoh! And Black Jack, but we never bet anything except for... some food if we have it. It's tons of fun ;D We all enjoy board games and card games.

I Looooove to play war with cards, and also Cheat (the cleaner version of BS).

I also like to play trouble, monopoly, and twister :D

Playing card games with my parents when they visit is so fun. They are always teaching me a new one every time.
I forgot about some of those board games. I have not played Clue in a long time. I have some board games that are just collecting dust.

I like to play both board and card
games. I would rather play one of those
than a computer or hand held game any day <3

I played a lot of bored games last summer. Mainly because I worked with kids. It was so much fun though. I dislike playing bored games on the computer. It's too complected.

Card games I like playing is War and Solitar.

I am glad to see that so many people still play with cards and board games.
With all the new computers and things it was hard to know.
