I have been reading information about the lunar eclipse since the beginning of this month and what I have been able to get has been this;

At 7:00 Eastern time the Lunar Eclipse will start, supposedly it will end before 12:00pm? o.O;

ChibiSkittles 02-20-2008 09:29 PM

... for three... YEARS... T_T

Of course my neck of the woods is cloudy and predicting snow. T_T

tatorXpattie 02-20-2008 10:35 PM

I think I may watch it. Is it ok to look
stright at it or is it just dangerous to look
at solar eclipse?

Takuto 02-20-2008 10:38 PM

I wish I could see it.
It's snowing here and it seems that my house never gets to see the moon or anything. T_T.

Dx

Eesu 02-20-2008 11:32 PM

Umm, I know you can see it around 10:50 pm est. xD

I've seen it once when I was a kid! >W< It was cool! I was like, O.O RED MOONNN.

But eh, I don't think I can see it tonight. ;.;

Karine 02-21-2008 12:28 AM

i can watch it from my bedroom. <3 Or i can go onto the balcony at 8:43 PM. i'm really excited. <3

secretdae007 02-21-2008 12:30 AM

It's snowy and cloudy here and therefore, seeing the lunar eclipse doesn't seem like it will be plausible D: It's sad because I really do like watching the sky...

Scribble Me Orange 02-21-2008 01:03 AM

If anyone wants; I'm going to make a video of it (kind of like a time lapse almost) and edit the long parts of the same thing over and over, and post it on YouTube. So any of you people that miss it, I'll be posting it on YouTube.

Azntwins 02-21-2008 01:09 AM

I want to watch the luner eclipse, but i can't because it's snowing over here, plus, i don't even know what time it happens. >_< Grr...

Amo_Angelus 02-21-2008 01:14 AM

The best time to see it GMT is around 2am-3am my news just said.
EST is 5 hours behind so that artical was for EST I don't know where you are though...

rampartte 02-21-2008 01:23 AM

Ahhh!
I'm so excited about the lunar eclipse tonight! In fact the full eclipse should be entering the sky's pretty soon!

I love blood moons, which I think the lunar eclipse totally looks like if it is in the right position. Plus it is supposed to be mickey mouse earred tonight by Saturn and a giant blue nova star.
Saturn will be glowing right three point five degrees to the upper left of the moon and the blue star will be two point eight degrees to the upper right of the moon.
I think they'll be in that position around ten pm central standard time.

I love blood moons which are a level three in color, but if it's a bright copper orange, level five I think, it might have a bluish glow surrounding it. Either way it will be super pretty!! <3 <3 <3

Uzura 02-21-2008 01:32 AM

Unfortunately, it's too cloudy here for me to see anything xP

DJ Mango 02-21-2008 01:56 AM

Well if you want to see the beginning it started at around 6:00-6:30pm.
Unfortunately the damn clouds are in the way where I live. -.-
I still have a few hours to go but I was really looking forward to seeing the beginning. D:<
Stupid clouds. Do you know how dissapointed I am? D:
I really wanted to see it. This would of been my first eclipse. But NO.
The clouds just had to put their fat asses in the sky.

suppi 02-21-2008 01:57 AM

I really want to see it... but from my house, there's no moon in sight at all.. xDD Well, unless I go outside and look around.. but it's cold and I don't like going outside. ><; Therefore, I would look through my room window, but you can't see the moon from there.. :lol: So yeah, I'm not really making an effort to see it. xD;;

crazy 02-21-2008 02:00 AM

I see it now. It's so cool :D
Ooh I just got a crystal-clear shot of it. Yippee!

Queen Fool 02-21-2008 02:06 AM

It said 10:01 here (EST)

Amo_Angelus 02-21-2008 02:14 AM

The moon is at the other side of the building to my window, and as I'm the only person on here I can't go around back to go have a look :P I've never seen a lunar eclipse before but I have seen solar ones.

ChibiSkittles 02-21-2008 02:14 AM

Intoxicating Envy 02-21-2008 02:36 AM

I think I am going to try to watch it myself.

Petrakan 02-21-2008 02:38 AM

In my time zone, GMT - 8, the eclipse is supposed to be the best around seven o'clock pm. I am excited! I have never seen a lunar eclipse before.

Vickicat 02-21-2008 02:54 AM

Moon.

I was actually just getting home at around 8:45 and getting out of my car to go inside and I did notice the moon, but didn't notice any eclipse. It was bright and there were a lot of clouds floating over it. I don't think I can see it because of the clouds.
