I am not sure if this should be on the Art Discussion, but I decided to put this thread here for bigger audience.
I didn't find a thread here on Mene about this subject yet, so I decided to make one. This really deserves it's own thread.

So you all know My little Ponies, the cute little ones I'm sure some of you used to watch on TV or collect the toys/stickers etc ^^

Just reasently I have made an interest in Customizing the My little Ponies. Some customs are just SO freaking awsome!

I used to love my little ponies. I never had any though, not until this Christmas when my boyfriend bought me one as a present. I used to read the anuals as a kid.

I used to own a bunch of my little ponies when I was little! We had a whole stable full of them, hee hee hee. They were so simple yet pretty to manage, same horsie with different colors equals new named horse. XD

Now-a-days there is so many different kinds, my little ponies have gotten on a lot of the toy band wagons that they others have. There are the my little pony plushies and the my little ponies baby ponies collection and houses for them to live in! But all of that is normal toys, not special made collectables.

I love all the special customer made punk rock and gothic ponies, I think they are really pretty! I don't collect things like that anymore, but it is cool to know someone out there made them!

Ha ha.. just a side note. Did anyone see that robot chicken episode where they had their own special my little pony collection that included death pony? I loved that one's voice so much! XD It was awesome! I bet since you can customize your own someone has totally recreated that ponies color scheme now!

Honestly I never heard of them until late 2004 when I moved to Australia. Its cute. My lil cousins like the very much

Yes i did :D I have the DVDs that Rhino released a few years back too :D

When the G-3's still ruled my china cabinet:

Nearly current cabinet (maybe a few months old)

While i dont customize myself, i love lookign at other peoples work :D

MLP knicknacks are amazingly fun to hunt down. I have a Firefly Sewing Machine, a flutter sleeping bag, and a bunch of other things floating around that are MLP :P

I also play on an MLP site that allows you to breed ponies... but it costs money... and the admins are nuts >>;;

omg really? xD Which one? I posted my favorites there heh ^^

I have a serious fever to make lots and lots of custom ponies =D I've made three so far, and two of them on fakes.. >.< they didn't turn out so well, but atleast I got some practice! ^^

I think I might post their pictures here sometime, maybe =D

:lol: I should give you some hints xD Naa, I am ChibiSkittles over on the Arena too :) I mainly work behind the scenes and in the introductions forum :3

And the one and only custom i ever really showed the world:

Butterball :lol: She is now owned by a former mod, who won her off of ebay :) She was made with the body of Spring...something or other xD She had flowers on her butt! xD (i dont pay much attention to the G-3s anymore so i sort of forgot a lot of their names). She was re-haired with a color called Saucy Brown... i HAD to pick that color, it was just too perfect for the pony :3

I had that one pony! *points and cries* I can't remember any other pony but that one! she was my favorite :3

others I think I pretty much ruined by cutting their hair or drawing on them. .xP

Oh my God, ChibiSkittles! I've seen you on PonyIsland! Wow, I never thought I'd meet anyone from there on here. O.o

...so yeah, I like MLPs only because of PI. I wanted to buy this really beautiful Unicorn I saw at Target, but I didn't have any money. ^_^; I shouldn't buy any anyway, once I get into something I get totally hooked on it and go all out, as my 600+ Zatch Bell trading cards will tell you. >.>

i used to have some of the toys but those ended up getting thrown away.
i used to watch the show. but i don't really remember any episodes or what they were about. (bad memory haah)
but i do love the theme song. its so cute!
My sister is absolutly in love with my little pony haha
I dont have a collection because well they all got thrown away.

I threw away them too.. which I regret now xD I could have customized them! and saved the good ones!

I loved the show ^^ I also had some videos, I watched them sooo many times.. xP

I am... sort of... everywhere in the Pony Community. On LJ i am Psychotwinkie (in 2 or 3 pony communities), but for the most part if you run across a ChibiSkittles blabbing away xD Its me ^^

Yup, that was me. ^_^; I busted out my supplies today and tried drawing the head and neck of a horse. I never thought about what complicated creatures they were until I started drawing. O.o

Are any of you guys going to enter MLP's "25 Ponies for 25 Years" design contest? It sounds like it could be really fun!

I am not going to enter the contest :3 my skills are severely lacking, especially when put next to say Woosie and them :oops: Those gals (and guys) are insanely good xD

p.s. drawing creatures is hard work ;) try it with a live model some day :shock:

I used to have loads of these. I wasn't very creative with them though. I'd just cut the hair off or put lip stick on them.
I've still got them all somewhere too.

Wow! So many Little pony collectors here and those are some impressive collections!

I never play or collect them, but I have heard about them since a couple of years back, and I think I watched a cartoon about it when i was very young, but I'm not sure if it was the same and related show with this Little pony merchandise. :P
