I remember pi day.
Someone actually brought in nine ice cream pies for the whole class. And they were pretty good >3< But I was so jittery from all the sugar. I ended up sitting on my desk for the rest of the period. Thankfully my teacher was A-OK with that XD (I wasn't blocking anyone's view :) We didn't do anything other than that. No random videos or anything. |
There is a whole dorm floor that posted a huge banner across their entire floor that states the first 10 digits of pi, the says happy pi day, it made my day.
Pi day here is celebrated, but we are all poor college students so we don't have too much we can do as far as getting massive pi set up to eat and such. |

I go to the geek school here so it makes sense. yes it seems a bit silly, but i celebrate white's day , in japan , on the same day, so time to celebrate both.

Anyways I swear if he could he stay up all night solving make problems, or trying to trace pi back to every digit. And yes I know pi goes on forever, that's the point to my saying this. I was just seriously glad it fell on a Friday. otherwise I fear he would've given one of his long, repetive, boring, lessons. |

On pi day my algebra teacher gave us a test and an oatmeal cream pie. Then my friend baked brownies for our chemistry class. I still hate pi day because it deals with math. But the food did make it better. Also my algebra teacher had a shirt that said "Have your (pi sign) and e it too". It was really dumb.

Hehe, I like Pi day.
I had a math midterm that day, which was fitting, and then I got off school for Spring Break, which was great. Since we had a test, we didn't really celebrate or anything, but I'd like to in the future. |
