I don't like my eye colour that much either. They're dark brown, and I already seem to have this stuck brooding look on my face. So, dark eyes just make me look downright upset all the time. Very annoying. I wish my eyes were grey. Now that's a rare colour. I know it can make one look a little empty, but on a certain person, they're amazing, and I think they'd do me more justice than the colour I have now does. But I'm not complaining necessarily. I mean, I'm glad I HAVE eyes at all, and the ability to see. I don't hide myself just because nobody has told me lately my eyes are pretty. Most people just comment on how large they sometimes look. My eyes are almond shaped, thank God, which is beautiful I think, so, that kind of takes away from having these boring dark orbs. Again though, I feel like I have an advantage when it comes to staring people down. When I'm angry, having dark eyes are a bonus, because they look so cold and ... a little evil, can I say?
Hehehe, my goodness you want to talk about colour. If I had the choice, my skin would be blue! How's that for different? And my hairs would probably be a golden red or purple... ok sorry, I'm spilling my fantasies at this point. But you know what I mean. I hope you come to realize that no matter what colour, your eyes make you who You are. Don't depend on anyone to tell you if they look good or not, they're yours. Such an opinion only matters, when it comes out of You. ;) |
I have brown eyes and I love them, though I always wanted green eyes...
Because I had green eyes for the first 2 years of my life, then they turned brown. D: I have a tshirt I love that says "Everyone loves a brown eyed girl" <3 |
I have hazel eyes which fluctuate in color, and I think they're very good looking.
But seriously, brown eyes are good looking as well, and alot of times are more attractive than green or blue or grey. |

I have brown eyes myself, and all (well, not ALL of them, but a great majority of them, anyway) complement on how nice they look when I'm in the sun... They'll randomly say "Wow... Your eyes are so brown! ^^" while we're in the middle of a conversation. It's kind of annoying, but I do like the complments, none the less.
Although I know a lot of people like my brown eyes, I've always been a fan of blue eyes. I just adore how they look. ^^ |
Bleh... I know how you feel. I have brown eyes as well and don't really find them to be that pretty. I guess I don't really have a preferred eye color though... When I was little I always thought that blue eyes were the prettiest but now I'm not so sure. They have so many different colored contacts and stuff that it's hard to pick anymore. For myself I think maybe a more carmel color would be nice? Either that or a darker brown that looked more blackish? I'm not really sure... ^^;

I like brown eyes, the darker the better. I think they look great with any hair color and any skin tone!

I prefer gray eyes or deep green on others.
I personally don't like blue very much. I'm okay with my eye color, I have a lighter brown that people have been lately calling green. I would prefer to have deep brown almost black because I don't think I would look as good with light eyes. |
I like brownish-green eyes, I have blue, but my boyfriend's eyes are just to die for they are both green and brown depending on his moods, I love it.

I think really dark brown eyes are beautiful, I wish I had brown eyes, I think my eyes are creepy, mine are a light blue with gold trimming I guess you could call it, it freaks me out lol. . .

I've always wanted green eyes, but I have brown as well. You can say I don't like my eyes, but there are certain times I do. When I cry or when the light shines in my direction they're kinda hazel. But that's the best I'm going to get from that. Haha.
I would still prefer green eyes though, they're mighty pretty. I like blue eyes, but not for me. My grandmother had the most beautiful olive green eyes. My cousins got green as well, but a lighter shade. I wouldn't say that I think brown eyes are ugly, because that's far from true. I just don't like my brown eyes, along with everything else in my body... I guess. |

My eyes are kindof a soft grayish blue. I really like the color, and I've go this little yellow starburst around my pupil. Then again, most people do if you look really close, but mine shows up really well.

I have brown eyes, and I kinda like them, but I wouldn't mind having...*drumroll* multi-colored eyes! I wanna get green and blue contacts when I'm older :) Also I want red eyes and yellow eyes and...[ I'm going to have to buy a lot of contacts... ]
But like the first post said, everyone wants something they don't have, and since brown eyes are so common, most people tend to think by "logic" that blue and green eyes and any other color is prettier. Because an eye color can't be ugly really, can it? I mean to the mass ^^' |
Just for the record...I think brown eyes are GORGEOUS. But that's my personal opinion. I've always wanted brown eyes. Not as dark as chesnut brown, but maybe a golden brown. I get something close to that, because I naturally have hazel eyes. I don't hate my hazel eyes really, but I still would prefer brown. xD
My eyes will turn some weird colors. Usually they're green with blue speckles, but I'll get blue eyes now and then, and sometimes, I'll have that golden brown color or something close. I often just have something that's sort of...a speckling of green and brown together, and it's ugly to me. x_x However...sometimes my eyes will even turn purple. I found out that it's actually not uncommon (I've only known one other person in real life that had hazel eyes that would turn purple but I've found out online there are many) because it's just a lot of blood getting behind the eyes. Kind of freaky, but I'll deal. |
don't worry about brown eyes! :shock: many times i'd prefer having brown ones. i have the feeling that in may cases they give their owners' faces a really strong expression, while blue eyes make it seem kinda weak. i'm just a very fair type in general and i'd like to be a whee bit darker, because being all light kinda sucks...
but of course, there are different types of people. my boyfriend has totally light gray-blue eyes with some brown around the iris even though he's a rather dark type (his dad is from southern europe) and it looks stunning. his eyes are so different in each kind of light, it took me some time to tell which colour they are^^ then again i see people with brown eyes and wonder about how well they match their faces. all depends on the person^^ |
Brown eyes are nice looking, but they are quite common. I like people with light blue eyes. A friend of mine has gold eyes as well, and he's dark skinned so it looks really awesome on him. I like my eyes, they are brown as well.

It's not that they're not pretty, it's just that they're a lot more common, plus, there are many shades of brown, from dark brown to almost amber-colored brown. My cousins and I all have brown eyes, but mine are more towards the dark side, while a lot of them have lighter shades of brown. All shades are quite nice in my opinion.

I have silvery eyes that change color according to my mood.[Silver for content, bright blue for upset[In no way gem like],greenish for a tad stressed, etc] Edit: Forgot to mention, Over the years I've had different eye colors. They changed, when i was really,really young I had bright blue eyes, then I got green, then hazel, then a grayish blue, and now they are silverly/gray with a blueish tint. |

My preference in eye color is green. My own eyes are hazel-green with blue-gray around the outside of the iris and orange-brown around the pupils. Between the blue-gray and the orange-brown is a beautiful shade of green with specks of gold.
Might not sound realistic, but I assure you, it is. My boyfriend has brown eyes, though. They're the most gorgeous brown eyes I've ever seen. Talk about a gem sparkling in the sun! I never thought brown colored eyes could be beautiful until I saw his. I don't think it's really the color. I think it's a lot of factors combined together. |
Blue and green eyes are ALWAYS pretty ....I remember I once stole a pair of blue eyes lens from a friend to try them on and I was like what?????? all my face changed and I was graceless I mean it...I looked so dull and horrible no way!!! plus I know a lot of people with blue or green eyes who look horrible and the eyes do not look good at all, also people with brown eyes whose eyes look horrible, I love my eyes, my husband loves my eyes and they are brown, have a look:
