Haha, I was born normally =l

Well I'm pretty sure I was

Wouldn't it be cool if you were born in a burning building or something like that? I'd be firebabay!

Not really, that would have been bad for you and your mommy. Specifically in the lungs area...smoke on a new baby = bad...plus your mom would have had to do it naturally and that would be OWWIES @[email protected]

On interesting ways to be born...Some kid born in toilet...talk about a crappy day. QQ

I was born just regular I guess?

blitzy 03-17-2008 02:26 AM

I was born by c-section after 12 hours of trying the normal route. I wasn't lining up properly going into the birth canal. I was hitting the pelvic born instead when my mom would have a contraction. Basically I was going nowhere and it was getting to a point where they realised my head wasn't positioned right so I was never going to line up. So they took my mom up to surgery and got me out. I was a little blue at the point, but it all worked out in the end.

Because of the problems with me my younger brother was a planned c-section. Whenever I asked my mom why he was born that way though, she would tell me it was because they didn't put a zipper in after I was born  .

I was a month early and my mom had way too many complications with me for it to be a natural birth. I had to be c-sectioned. Almost all the women in my family have really hard times with giving birth.

slashsim 03-17-2008 02:50 AM

Thinking about it, no, but I don't really care.

I was born a month and a half premature, and my mother hemorrhaged really horribly.

Someone had encouraged my mother to get a midwife instead of going to a hospital, but she chose the hospital. It was a good thing she did, or neither my mother nor I would be here right now.

I know my boyfriend was a c-section baby, but I don't know the details of why that was.

Eddafred 03-19-2008 04:36 AM

I came out swollen and blue. Almost died, but I pwned death D<

arcrys 03-19-2008 05:15 AM

I was born early, but naturally. My mom probably had drugs, since she was in a hospital. They always tell me that after I was born my mom looked at my dad and said 'you're lucky she's a girl' ^-^ She really wanted a little girl to dress up.

I had no problem with that.. I totally hugged the pretty dresses in the stores until my mom bought them for me :D

Sukki 03-19-2008 05:27 AM

I was normal, a little late though. I was supposed to be born on April 1st, and my mom did not have a...scan...thing...I know what they're called, I just forget now. >< She did not want to have one because at the time they were known to cause possible problems or complications for babies or something like that, and she and my dad had tried for 8 years to have children, and finally after they had given up (they tried all kinds of stuff, even resorting to artificial insemination, which somehow didn't take) they found out she was finally pregnant. Ironically, they had started building their house on the land they'd purchased, and since they'd given up on kids by then, there was no room for the kids. The room I've lived in for the past 18 years was intended to be the guest room...>_>

But anyways, because she didn't have the scan thing, nobody knew for sure what gender I was, but the general consensus of all doctors and every person my mom talked to it about, said I was going to be a boy by the way she was carrying me. My mom met ONE woman, out of all of them, randomly, who came up to her and said something like "Oh! You're having a baby girl!" Needless to say, my mom's response was something along the lines of "...lolwut?"

But I was not born on April 1st, my mom was supposed to go in for induced labor on April 3rd, when before she was supposed to go in, she went into labor. She gave birth to me normally, I'm not really sure if she used painkillers or not, but I'm going to assume she probably did.

So I was born at 10:30pm exactly on the night of April 3rd, and played a late April fools joke on everyone by being a girl. =p

My dad apparently came into the waiting room and told everyone "It's a durned girl" (He wanted a boy so he could name it after himself I think, then he ended up raising me as a tomboy and teaching me to shoot and giving me a bow and arrows for xmas, which I enjoyed greatly >__>)

But I was a happy, healthy baby, and my mom loves telling me that the doctors and nurses were commenting on my looks, because I didn't come out red and wrinkly like most babies, and was looking around with my "big blue eyes" which are now green, ironically.

So that's my long-winded story...that I love telling people way too much...

Abis 03-19-2008 05:27 AM

I was a C-Section child. My mom was born with her hips dislocated from the sockets, so she couldn't do natural birthings... She's had four c-sections, now (I'm the oldest... my half-brother is 15 years younger than me).

Crazy Owl 03-19-2008 05:37 AM

I was born 'normal' with painkillers. My mom was in labor for about 32 hours. My family was in and out of the hospital a few times before I was born.

I was pretty much delivered on Gas and air. Mum didnt want any drugs. I put her through 48 hour labour, and I was early I should of been born in early October but I was born mid/end of September.
The hospital where I born though, is not there anymore and is now a supermarket. xD
Mum always comes out with a sarcastic remark about that and says I was born in the meat section lol

Titenya 03-19-2008 07:52 PM

My younger brother and I were both c-sections. I was about a week early and he was almost a month late. My mum has diabeties, and they figured it would be safer to do it that way.

Chexala 03-19-2008 08:02 PM

I was born at home, all natural. Do doctors, no drugs, no complications. We had a midwife present, but she wasn't actively coaching my mom, because I was the third kid, so my parents knew the drill by then. I don't remember how long my mom was in labor exactly, but I don't think it was very long.

Thats crazy, i didnt think people did that anymore. I certainly know i never could!

Mika-chan 03-21-2008 01:01 AM

I didn't want to come out of my mothers belly~

So you know I was induced with drugs to come out x.x

Hope Lulliby 03-21-2008 01:03 AM

My mom has had four children, all of which she never had any drugs when giving birth to us.
I was the third, so unlike my sister (the first born) my mother was not in laber for very long. In fact my dad is fond of saying that I was almost born in the parking lot.
But then all three of my siblings have a story attached to their berths.

thats why for the final 2 months you stay inside >.<

I was born with out any majoy incidents.

Captain Meep 03-21-2008 09:48 PM

Hmm... I was a normal birth, though I did come a week and a half earlier than expected (I was supposed to be born on Christmas day... So I say I was all "Hell no! I don't want Christmas presents for my birthday!" and came out early. x3)
I did have Jhondis... and developed a chronic case of "Maternal Vengeance" (aka- My mom waking me up at 7:16 am every year on my birthday in retaliation for me waking her up that ONE DAY that early... geez. Talk about holding grudges.)

Internal_Dragon 03-21-2008 11:08 PM

I was a C-section baby, my mom's doctor was really worried while she was in labor because I started to act like I was already out of the womb (I won't say what it was that made him so nervous, cause it's kinda embarrassing >_> ). So they drugged mom up and got me out of there.

There was another baby born an hour before me that had the same problem I did, and he ended up brain damaged because his mother and her doctor decided to wait for her to have him naturally.

life in red and black 03-22-2008 12:26 AM

My mom had me in the afternoon after walking around a downtown mall with my dad that morning and ate a watermelon. I'm pretty sure I was born what you would classify as a 'regular'

Katherine 03-22-2008 12:29 AM

I've never actually thought about this before, but now that I do, I have no idea how I was born.

I'd like to know, though, so maybe I'll ask my mom some day.
