Tired and Im at my dads!
Yep so I am tired and I am at my dads Its almost 1 am. I was on the train from 5 40 pm to 8 40 Pm. I felt like I was on there forever. I almost fell asleep. Lol though I have been on It before It was weird cause It was all quiet. there were hardly anyone on the train at the end. so yea. Besides me this one young guy around my age who was talking to me and two other girls Lol. so yea..
how was your guys day/night? what do you think about trains? ever been on what? |
I ride the train between home and college. My trip is about 3 hours too. It feels so long. I try to stay awake because I am so paranoid about missing my stop, but I usually end up asleep. Wouldn't it be terrible to miss your stop and end up really far from where you want to be in the middle of the night. Scary.
I do like them better than taking a bus though. |
It's times like this that I really notice the difference in time zones!
It's nearly quarter bast two in the afternoon here, and so far I've done nothing all day except make a sausage casserole for dinner tonight and waste a lot of time on the internet. As for trains, I'm not really a fan. I get really bad motion sickness very easily, and trains are no exception. I'm usually throwing up in the scummy toilets within 20 minutes. :( |
I love riding trains. But that's just me.
I especially love the TGV, the French 'fast' train. The train system in Europe is wonderful, and it's great for travelers on a low budget. I love the sway of trains, the view, everything. Even the noise (if it's relatively quiet. I don't like noisy ones.) Buses are OK. The jerk a lot, and I feel so bad for the drivers. You can tell that they just want to get out of their job. I feel so sorry for them :( But airplanes are the best. I just adore them. I went in the cockpit of one before 9/11, and I loved it. They showed us everything. It was a small flight, so they didn't mind. I'm so glad I got that chance, and I hope that I'll get it again one day. The feeling of the plane is just so powerful. You're above the world. For hours, your separated from most of humanity. You don't have to worry about anything. You're just up there. I love standing up and looking out the window on planes ;) |
I love trains, though when they go really slow during meal time its not fun to be in the traffic waiting for the train to pass at 3 miles an hour. Mondays and Wednesdays are very stressful for me seeing as I wave a night classes on those two days. So I'm stuck at school for the whole day cause all the classes I need to graduate are all at bizarre times.

I use to go on the train and subway a lot as a kid. I lived in NY for awhile so it only makes sense.
Now I live in a more rural area in Pennsylvania so I don't rely on public transportaion anymore. The only kind they have here is the bus which is pretty packed all the time. |
Actually, i've never been on a real train, now that you think about it. o_O
The only trains ive been on are the ones that take you around the park at Busch Gardens. xD Id love to go backpacking around Europe for a few years, taking the train to various countries. :3 |
I've only been on a train once.. o___x And believe me, your situation is WAY better than riding the transit buses that I do(which, IMHO, is better than the subways of NY.) You can at least walk around a bit of change spots-- on the buses you're pretty much stuck most of the way. Planes are the best, but my dad's afraid to go one now. xD |
My dad is coming up today. And bringing pizza yummy. He is suppose to be here right now but he is stuck in traffic. There was a wreck. Hopefully no one got hurt.
Either my dad comes up here or I go down to visit him once a week. If I miss a day calling him I hear about it the next day O.o |
