THUNDER.
Ohmygod.
It's raining over here and yeah its thundering and lighting. Then out of nowhere one of my lights blows a fuse and this HUGE roll of thunder shaked the house. I mean literally bending the glass of the windows (we have LOTS of BIG windows) like someone was beating a drum. I was soooo freaked out O,,O I'm still a little "How the, what the, heck!?" as I write this. Has anybody else had a event like this? If so, it'd be oh-so-nice is you told me and we could chat about such things ^3^ And maybe chat about other random weirdness in our lives >_> |

At least here in Vegas, it rains rarely...

four days ago. we had that but at school its 7th hr. NO ONE. is talking. NO ONE was moving. there wasnt ONE sound. all of a sudden BOOM. D: school startedto shake. tons of people screamed o_o i dislike rain and storms. -scared of them <3 |

My mom was washing the dishes once and it was storming out. She got electrocuted. I was so scared she was gonna die. But I was...*remembers*...seven then so of course that was the first thing that came to mind .... |

I also like light rains. Then I can go and dance around without having to worry about getting drenched X3 I'm usually sleeping through the heavy stuff or I just get really freak out. edit: meep, I needs to go to bed now. It's 3:00am and I didn't get to much sleep last night, so yeah... Tootles then! Talk to y'all laters! |

school nights with those are hard.. ;-; panda blanket it is its wool.. or cotton. either one. Andd.. its Really large so it weighs alot on a person >_>.. my cat likes to sleep on it and get cat hair everywhere on it T-T |
Just yesterday there was a sudden lightning and thunder crack right behind my house. I almost jumped out of my skin.

I love storms! I'm the only one in my family that does, though. My mother is even scared of thunder without lightning being involved as well! There's something so impressive about the elements going nuts outside, while I am comfortable inside of course!

I have exprianced thunder really badly one year. I was actually out in it resucing a bunny, not that I do it for a living mind, its just our old neighbours left there bunny outside in heavy rain thunder and fork lighting. I wasnt going to let the poor thing die or anything so I braved it outside, and my god the thunder was alful >.<; It shook the whole house and the windows rattled, even the cups and pans in the cubored shook. I also remember getting hit by lighting once, it was alful, though ot was my fault for watching it outside the window with the window wide open. D: |
We've been getting a lot of bad storms lately, too. I mean really bad with thunder like that. It rattles the windows so bad at night it feels like the storms happening inside, and not out. :/

it's raining here... but it's not a thunder yet...
well.. last night i was sleeping when a tree fall on the road... i was scared because of the noise... i like when is raining outside... and i can look throw the window and so on... but i really hate when it's lightening. |
When we were younger my older sister and I loved to listen to and watch the thunder and lightning. We'd sit in our kitchen staring out the sliding glass door for hours doing it. And when the lights went out, it was that much more fun to do.
I remember one night my sister had some friends over and one of them was crazy scared about the lightning and thunder. We didn't get to watch it that night; everytime we'd try she'd freak out and start yelling at us to get away from the window. I like when you can hear the thunder rolling, literally. I don't know why, I just do. I can't remember the last time I heard some good thunder. |

But I hate tornadoes. Unfortunately, where I live, in the Spring, the two typically go hand in hand. </3 I don't really like a lot of thunder when I'm trying to sleep though. Cause I sleep pressed up against the wall, and when the thunder makes the house shake, the vibration wakes me up. D< At our Spring formal, in 7th grade, it started storming while we were waiting for our rides after the dance. My friend (who had an obsession with thunder and lightening) was like, hugging the flag pole like an idiot. We removed her from it, and like a minute later, lightening struck the pole. O.e' I can remember lecturing her. |

Wow, lots of storm stories. For the people who liked the storms (for I cannot answer each and everybody separately because I just woke up) her is what I have to say: I love them lots too. Its awesome when I can feel the thunder and see the lighting, but when it shake the whole house up I'm a little on the "OMG...." side X3 to the people who don't like storms (for the same reason above) here I am on the whole thing: Yesh I like storms but the one last night... We haven't had a thunder roll like that in, oh I don't know how long. |

I love thunder storms it is the lighting that scares me. That and when it makes trees fall. They do a lot around here it is scary.
I like the lower rumble I but the big scarys not so much. |
Thunder storms happen frequently here now that it is summer. The storms don't scare me that much anymore even with the lightning going from cloud to cloud.

We don't get thunder storms very often here. I'm not really that sure why, especially since it rains so much!
When I went on a school trip to Cambridge to stay at Jesus College there was this really loud noise and we all freaked out thinking we were being shot at. I thought it was a cannon! Nobody else batted an eyelid at all these Northern children running for cover. Then it started raining and we all realised that it had just been thunder at the start of a storm and our guide took us inside XD |
:shock: I love thunder storms! That sounds like awesome fun, but I know I would be scared out of my wits if the window were large and close to breaking.
I remember once, there was a silent flash of lightening and I thought it was mother taking a picture of our dog, but then this HUGE roll of thunder hit. It was feaky, but I laugh at it now. |
Never happened to me, but I'd be terrified!
