This morning, to my pleasant surprise, I was awaken by a single phone call at 8 am (remember, on a Saturday morning)! After grumbling about it to myself, I rolled over in bed and fell asleep again. But of course, I was awaken a few minutes later by another phone call! I spent the next hour being awaken every 20 minutes by a phone call.

So, what time is too early in the morning for you?!
And, if you have any wonderful stories to comfort me about my lousy morning, please do share! ;D

Everything that's before 11 a.m. is too early for me... I just like to sleep very long because I'm sort of a night-person x3
Sleeping long in the morning and staying up and night...

But most of the time my parents will wake me up because they're very loud outside...
Sometimes my dad will play music in his room which is next to mine... just to wake me up ==;

I hate mornings lol so I am not a morning person. I wake up at around 10 or 11 am due to my daughters boredom. She wakes up at 9am or so as soon as there is light shinning out side she thinks she should be up and about.

It kills me when people call and wake you up and then they say,"Oh I am sorry where you sleeping?" I mean you have known me for several years now..Have I ever been up and about for no reason in the mornings? You just want to shake them lol. I am normally grumpy in the mornings. I can not help it I need to put up a sign or something on my door.

But my husband and daughter are early birds they wake up and the birds are singing and they are so happy.. but let them get sleepy and you will see their true colors lol. That is when they get grumpy.

@Zenturio: I agree. Everything before 11 is waaay too early.

One thing I hate is when all the presidential candidates call your house from 5PM to midnight and you don't get any sleep. Then you need to get up early the next morning to go to school/work. I hate politics >.<

Your morning sounds downright beautiful compared to mine.

I was awakened at 1:30 am to the sound of drunken karaoke down the hall. They continued singing and belting out country melodies until 2:30, despite being told many times over to be quiet.

I managed to fall asleep again, but woke up around 6:30 when an alarm clock in the room next to mine went off. Usually this isn't a problem, but the girls didn't turn it off. The thing buzzed and beeped, getting louder by the minute, for two solid hours. People kept pounding on their door trying to wake them (which didn't work), so I had to listen to that as well. Our hall's RA could easily have solved the problem by getting the skeleton key and opening up their door to make sure that everything was alright, but she was sleeping over at her boyfriend's last night. And it's not like she bothered to tell anyone this little fact.

...Did I make you feel slightly better?

If mornings started in the afternoons, they'd be aftermornings, and that would be weird. No... The only solution is to stay up so late that you are forced to wake up at 2PM!

waking up at 4AM is too early for me. I can manage anything after five, but four... Its just too early. Although, my cat likes to wake me up when she's in heat by tearing down my posters, knocking things off my desk, claw at the door, things like that. It's a wonderful pre-wakeup at 3AM.

Oh, man.
I get phone calls between 10 AM and 10 PM on weekends...
If you call at 9:30, I'll kill you.
And if you call at 9:59, I'll chew you out to pass the one more minute you should have let me sleep! :]

Anything before 10am on the weekends is too early for me.
Today was even worse though, I had a concert in Symphony Hall, and I had to get there at 8am to practice for a little bit.
And since I live half an house away plus finding a place to park...
I was a little late but we started a little late so I was fine
But I woke up at 6:45am to shower, and then I ate breakfast and left.
And I still have rehearsal for the same orchestra tomorrow...DDDDx

I think that either humans shouldn't get tired like we do or we should have a law that starts school later during the day. This waking up early during the school week is a killer each and everyday. Ugh. But yeah I definetly hate it when people call you that early in the morning on a freaking weekend. Honestly what are people thinking. Why would they be up this early anyways. Dumb people.

Anytime before noon is usually way to early for me.
I've actually had the problem of people calling the last few mornings. At first I'd answer, because I was hoping that talking to whoever it was would get rid of them.
WRONG!!
Yesterday I just threw my phone out of the room and ignored it. It seems that answering the phone the few days before that only encouraged certain people to call me that early.

Mornings start at noon for me on the weekends. During the week, they start at 7. If anyone calls me before I'm awake, it's too early. <_<

XD, I feel like such a morning person compared to you people. Usually I wake up around 6 or 7am. Thankfully, this is on my own time and not from an alarm clock XD. Unfortunately, I sometimes get really cranky and..yell..and throw stuff once I start interacting with people :lol:.

Ugh, I'm so not a morning person! Anything before 12 is too early for me. And no matter how tired I've felt for the whole day, I always get more alert towards the night, so it's nearly impossible for me to go to sleep before 2AM even if I've been like a zombie for the whole day.

I hate it how this society is ruled my morning people, while about a half of the population are night people. That just makes us night people feel lazy and guilty with absolutely no reason.

Oh and Knerd, that was quite an experience. :lol: Pretty much anything is better compared to that!

On the weekends, I'm usually up by 9am. :/ Because either someone wakes me up because they want to bother me (or something), phones are ringing, or I just can't sleep anymore.
I mean, I'm a morning person and all, but sometimes, just let me sleep. T___T </3

I'd like to be able to wake up at 11:30am. Perfect time. >> Right before lunch and the time when my friends wake up.

Alright, so I don't have a specific too early time. It really depends on when I sleep and how tired I am but I may have a story that will make you feel better about your morning.

So, I sleep at 2 AM due to arriving home late from prom last night. (Oh by the way, I'm filipino and filipino mothers are just crazy LOUD!!!) Then I am rudely awoken by my mother and my auntie screaming at each other in tagalog at 7 AM! RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME! God! It's been like this for the past four days. I'm sick of it. ;_;

Why can't I have a mother with a normal voice volume?

If it's light outside, it's too early for me. I'm a night person - simply because I feel energised to get more done once the sun has set. Unfortunately, life conspires to keep me getting up at 7am, and trudging through horrid icky brightness.

Well...the sun doesn't rise here in Kentucky until about 9am year round....so...:lol:

Any time I'm not ready to wake up is too early for me. Especially with my cracked sleeping habit of going to bed at 10am and waking up at 2pm. My mom knows that if I'm woken up by something and I wasn't ready to wake up...all hell breaks loose in our house. ^^;

ANY TIME is too early in the morning for me! My biological clock requires me to be fully awake at LEAST 11 o'clock in the morning. If not, then 11:30AM and 12:00PM are my limits. It doesn't help when I have school, though...I'm usually late to my classes half the time because my first one is at 9:00 AM, requiring myself to wake up at 6 or 7, and start driving to school at 8.

I am up all night and I don't get up until around 1-2 PM, so I learned a long time ago to take the phone off the hook while I am sleeping. My friends and family who know I sleep during the day still would call me anyway.

Now if I could just get people to respect my no soliciting sign I would be thrilled.

I remember when I was a kid, my Grandmother would be agast at anyone who would call or come over before noon because at one point it was considered rude to do that.
