So Menewsha, what are your opinions on various types of Makeup? And do you really find it necessary? Where do you draw the line on how much makeup is too much?

I don't really use anything else other than occasional eyeliner, for I find everything else to be kinda of un-necessary, and if one gets to used to the face they have when there's makeup slathered all over it, will their natural face seem all the more ugly?

I don't see makeup as something necessary. I think it can be something nice for special occasions, but not something necessary. For me it isn't an everyday thing, I only wear it for special things. I don't think that it's necessary to put it on every time you leave the house. I've never really understood doing that. People put it on just to go to school or to the store or something, I'm wondering, who's even gonna notice? Sometimes I will use like a little bit of the liquid skin colored stuff to cover up if I get a bad breakout or something but other than that I don't see any need for it.

Guys can wear makeup too. Lulz. Zac Efron wears a ton of it, and everyone gets so used to his "movie face" they forget how normal he really looks.

@ Vickicat: Ah yes. I agree with you. I don't know why people like my sister would spend half an hour everyday putting on Makeup and stuff when all they're doing is going to work or school. "You already have a boyfriend, it doesn't really matter who you impress. Lul. Everyone else doesn't really care or notice." But YES. Concealer ish important at times...cause my face can be unkind at times. <.<

I never see wearing any makeup as 'necessary.'

I'm perfectly happy going out the door with a bare face!

I do usually wear a little eye makeup or light lipstick, but I only go the whole hog if I'm going out at night somewhere, or it's a special occasion.
But even then, I'll only wear tinted moisturiser aside from eye and lip makeup. I don't really need to wear a lot of foundation, and there's nothing I hate more than seeing other women who wear too much foundation- like where it's the wrong colour to match their skin, or it looks like you could make tiny snow-angels in it.

Hehe, a bare face looks best to me. x'D

Yuuuuuck. Don't even get me started on the foundation disasters. My old counselor used to wear waaaay too much, and it was always lighter than her natural skin tone. It looked like you could use your finger and just scratch that stuff off. o3o

I only really wear makeup on speical occasion, or when I go out on a date with my boyfriend (He deserves the effort). Other than that, it's not realy important or worth the effort.

I don't think make-up is necessary, but I wear eye make-up, just a bit to show off my eyes ;] I really don't like make-up that much though, especially when I have soccer practice in the rain (trust me, don't try that.)

Personally, I hate wearing make-up unless it happens to be a special occasion and even then it's very minimal. I mean yes, I put on lotion, but that's only for dry skin ._. Also, I feel that make up can actually make you look older sometimes. Something that I don't like is that tanning make up. I've only seen a few people actually be naturally orange form real tanning, but that's not the point. In my opinion spray tans look unnatural.
